Always maintain 6 secs worth of distance stopping distance. Yeh toh speed breaker tha ji nahi dikh, agar iss gaadi ka accident hua hota toh bhi XUV waala iske peeche takrata. So main point yeh nahi hai speed breaker pe reflector nahi hai, haan woh hona chahiye tha par usse bhi jada important hai is always maintain distance- Jo actually mein accident bacha sakta hai.

1st accident: High Beam coming from the opposite side, no visibility in front.
If there would have been visibility, Swift would have slowed before and XUV500 would have also slowed
Accident 2: ADAS, Tucson have ADAS and due to AEB it stopped immediately.
AEB system is good but rear ending is always a chance.

Once I was driving from Chickmangluru to Bengaluru via Hassan and I encountered few speed breakers like these which were installed by the local villagers and I drove over them at 80-100 Kmph. I had no time to react. It happened twice within a matter of 15 minutes. Thankfully, I did not lose control over the car. In the same manner, in TN, they have barricades which pop up suddenly. These measures cause more accidents that preventing them.

Bilkul sahi bhai , when we maintain even some distance bike and car drivers keep merging and we have to apply brake constantly because they keep merging, sometimes those fools cancel their overtake and apply brake in between the vehicles, they don't care about others, really irritating sometimes 😣, the only way to deal with it is to keep just enough distance where people don't try to merge and staying extremely attentive and slowly applying brake (turn off that music in such situations) and if you want to go to work arramse and stay stressfree then better start half and hour early at 9 because most people start in a hurry at 9:30 and end up in traffic , everyone somehow has to reach by 10 so they try to overtake and cause problems especially 2 wheeler riders . So stay safe , don't be stressful in traffic and keep your vehicle clutch and gears from enduring less wear and tear 😌

Speed Breakers are really not greate on highways keeping in mind that the traffic from opposite is throwing all the power of the sun in their headlights, its not visible, adding reflectors would be great
and really i have seen BMW drivires like to tailgate for some reason [just my observation as a car person], although they had time to break since they were going slow

They are outright illegal, as per 2017 SC judgement.
The local authorities often install them illegally due to pressure from locals.
They should be sued for compensation if any accident occurs due to speed-breaker.

There is always an advantage of light colors like white, silver car color when compared to dark colors like black, grey, brown in night conditions. My car is grey, it was hit 3 times from back in past 9 years. Always the reason from the driver who hit my vehicle was they could not immediately recognize my car due to dark color.
In future if I purchase another car I will definitely go for a white color even though I don't like white

Swift wala aage tha isliye usse dikha speed breaker aur woh brake apply karke rukh gya. XUV500 ko kuchh dikha nahi or kisko maloom hoga ki highway ki beech mein speed breaker hoga.
Second accident mein Tucson ke aage toh koi hai nahin. Toh brake mara kyun.
Aur highway mein toh thik thak distance maintain kar sakte hai lekin city mein karna mushkil hai. Itna traffic rahta hai.
