Celebrate yourself! {regarding the empty fridge at the end of the week} That’s a great job managing your groceries. I am definitely inspired! Going day to day is so much more stressful!
What a good idea. We all need more options and variations on our themes. The flowers are lovely. You are doing a superb job of making delightful meals frugally and not wasting product.
Thanks for sharing! I meal plan a month at a time but shop a week at a time to manage food waste. A couple of years ago I planned out the entire year and actually stuck to it for the most part. I can’t even imagine trying to redo that now, like you said there is no head space for more nowadays.
I can totally relate to the pride you feel when you realize that you managed to use up all your groceries as planned. Ever since we started doing it in my house we have had hardly any food waste and managed to save up a lot of money too! Also helps to combat those impulse purchases during the week, when you're out shopping whilst already being hungry! 😅
Really great video involving a week of Kosher meals. I wish you the best Valentine's Day possible to you and your husband. I gave a thumbs up and enjoyed!
Lovely video. Left over rice is also perfect for egg fried rice if your looking for something simple and quick to throw together. Works perfect if you have some veggies and/or meat that is needing used up as well. Also, Bibimbaps are really easy to put together and great for when there aren't a ton of one veggie or another. Love watching other cooking channels and shows too. Even if I don't pick up anything new in the dishes, I do learn so little tip or trick in cooking.
@@MyJewishMommyLife No problem. A lot of Asian based dishes seem to be wonderful for simple and quick once you get the jest of them. Particularly for veggies.
Delicious. I also have gotten into super meal planning and love it. I enjoy sitting down and thinking it out and shopping accordingly. Empty fridge on Sunday and fill fridge on Monday
Hello Marianne I live in Melbourne Australia. I am not Jewish but I enjoy your Videos especially your vegetarian recipes. I like learning about other cultures.
it looked as though you used a McCormick seasoning packet in one of your recipes. I've never seen ones that are Kasher. where did you find it. I've been the a few different Kosher grocery stores near me and none carry anything like it
I'm still learning about Kosher food and Trader Joe's although vegan isn't listed as kosher. They did list one but not Trader Joe's chorizo. Can u explain to me? Plz
Please help me... I'm struggling to understand what the hybrid fruits & vegetables are. I thought broccoli was a hybrid but I keep finding meal plans with it in there... I'm so confused 😕
Those meals look absolutely delish! 🥙🌮🍚 🥗My Mom gets kosher meals delivered to her apartament from Meals on Wheels. It's been a real blessing! 🌹Hope you had a good Sabbath! 🕯🕯🥖🍷
I love your cooking videos! During these Covid times, I've begun planning my meals so I'm not making as many trips to the store. At first, it seemed overwhelming but now I like doing it. I'm finding it actually makes my life less stressful since I'm not scrambling to figure out what's for dinner at the last minute! Every thing you prepared looked so good. I've recently discovered the joys of spaghetti squash; I pair it with a bolognese sauce but will have to try adding chicken like you did!
I totally relate to that!!! Initially I didn't want to take on one more thing especially this year but I've actually found it to be so helpful and something that helps reduce stress!
Super impressed with your lack of food waste! I'm terrible at that! in our house, it's just me and my husband, and we've got both the indoor and garage fridge and freezer packed to the gills. Couple of side knows... My husband absolutely hates Empire Kosher chicken and has asked never to buy it again. He thinks the flavor is too strong and the texture too rubbery. He also hates spaghetti squash. We had one in the fridge for a couple of months and threw it out. I have a picky eater on my hands, haha! Overall, really great ideas for quick and convenient meals. Trader Joe's has the best everything
Thank you!! It used to be something I was really terrible at but I made it kind of a fun challenge for myself in recent months and I just am feeling better about it!
I couldn't stop smiling when watching this video. The kids are so adorable. My cheeks hurt!

Thank you so much!! It's been a little personal challenge I've been enjoying recently!
I am far from being a Jewish mommy. Although, I am a caregiver and cook all meals for a wonderful (senior) Jewish couple. This is helpful, thank you.
So glad to hear it!

Thank you so much! I often get stuck in a rut too!

Your shabbat prep is so simple. You lucky. We have to have soup with like perogin or something, maim course and fruit dessert n fish too.
I appreciate that and we love perogin too!
I am new here. I am excited to be here. Thank You for taking the time to teach us.
Looks fabulous!
Delicious. I also have gotten into super meal planning and love it. I enjoy sitting down and thinking it out and shopping accordingly. Empty fridge on Sunday and fill fridge on Monday

What time is dinner? Love the options and aesthetics❤❤❤
Thanks for sharing these! I love cooking and these recipes look great! My family loves salmon so we’ll definitely be trying that stir fry soon :)
Can you make a list of what you made? I know you e done this previously.
Shabat Shalom, do you have a “how to kosher or apply salt to meat before cooking “ video? Today raba.
In general when you buy kosher chicken it’s already been soaked and salted
Also, can you walk us through each step when you make it because you jump from 10 minutes about the ingredients to cooking it ready

Next book, kosher cookbook?
Yummy! Do you ever use sesame oil for your stir fry veggies? I think it adds a nice flavor.
I do sometimes you’re right such a better flavor!
I was hoping to see you pouring all the ingredients over the salmon.

Aww that’s so lovely! Thank you!
Do meals on wheels offer kosher in every city they operate in?
I go Kosher when I'm on a healthy eating plan even though I'm not Jewish. But once in a while I will treat myself to non-Kosher food.

Thank you!!
So cute love you 😘 ❤❤❤
it was my understanding that you can't eat meat and dairy and have the meal still be kosher.. can I please get some clarification. TY!
where you get kosher red meat from?
A jewish grocery store/meat market.
Got an Instant pot? You should :)
The Trader Joe's Scallion Pancakes are not kosher. There's no hechsher on it.
Very lost. Barely any direction
