      Shalom I’m so happy to see your message. What’s your name? Are you Jewish? You like coming to visit israel? Growing up in America, I feel privileged and blessed to live in Israel as a Jew. The Jewish people are commanded by Gd to live here in israel and it makes every single second of my life feel like I have a purpose. There’s hard times in israel and beautiful times, but actually the hard times brings out the beauty, so it’s all beautiful. I love feeling like I’m part of a family and a wonderful purpose. I love how my kids feel free to run around in the nature where we live. Kosher food at the market everywhere and the people of Israel are incredibly warm and intense, it’s wonderful. Come again soon with Gds help! 👋🏼🇮🇱🌺💕🌿

    My husband was raised vegetarian. We did the vegetarian diet for at least a year and some months of being vegan. As this was back in the 90's (no internet = no information), we ate a LOT of soy products, which gave my oldest daughter and I health problems. So! No longer vegan here! We do enjoy vegan and vegetarian dishes from time to time!

    What a shame that a title like this was used as a pretense for promoting cruelty to animals.

    • @JewGotit
      @JewGotit  4 місяці тому +1

      Shalom, This was a video of cooking vegan food for Shabat. Judaism teaches that animals are part of G-d’s creation and should be treated with compassion, emphasizing the importance of avoiding, or causing pain to living creatures.
      The Talmud instructs Jews against animal cruelty, and biblical stories highlight kindness towards animals as a virtue. Judaism also permits harming or killing animals when necessary to fulfill an essential human survival or needs, prioritizing human beings over animals.
      This comes from the time of the Noah’s ark. We were sexual with animals and everything was mixed up with the animal and human world. We didn’t eat animals then. It got so bad, that Gd then allowed us to eat animals showing us we have a different conscience and soul than other creates in creation. Gd wants human beings to be kind each other and he knew if people do not eat animals, they would see themselves on the same level of animals and therefore could act cruel to humans.
      So Gd allowed for the use of animals for food, clothing, and religious purposes such as parchment for writing the Bible.
      If you are really open to learn and understand peoples traditions and religions, it can be deeper than just saying we are promoting animal cruelty. Blessings to you

  • @Sherka55

    I enjoy watching your family until this particular video with your husband talking about the person that slaughters the animal has a special relationship with the animal. What????????
    You have a special relationship with an animal that you’re going to murder. There is no humane way of killing an animal hence killing.
    I thought you and your family were peaceful, loving, kind people but this video I sent to my family and I’m sorry I did because how conflicting what you say about killing an animal in a humane way there is no humane way.
    Typical male response from someone that’s Jewish. That’s all I have to say it’s just pure ignorance.
