Had 3 and np problems. Currently got a 21 plate Autobiography with 3.0 Ingenium straight 6 which is a wonderful car that’s now done 30,000 trouble free miles. Had more problems with BMW and Volvo in the past (D5 new engine at 28k). Don’t make judgements on anecdotal comments especially from those who have never owned one! All makes of cars have issues and failures. Buy a warranty if you are concerned.
I also didn't have any problems with my 2 evoques, did 150k miles on the 2nd one. However buying used I get concerned cause I don't know what the previous guy did
Well said, I have owned RR sports ( petrol) and never had any major problems. X5, Jeep SRT and mainly the Q7 gave me heaps of problems. I don't understand all the bad reviews on RR either - unless that awful diesel engine pre 2017.
Former RR HSE owner of 2010 v8. Had tons of expensive problems including but not limited to Air suspension, coolant cross pipe, and rear main seal leak. I was told if I buy another to buy the v6 less headaches. But don't buy this car if you 1. No maintenance history 2. If it has mods on it 3. If you can't afford to fix it.
Owned the 2016 HSE Dynamic now for coming up to 3 years in July. Great motor the Wife and I love it, just worried a bit now on my renewal for Insurance… been hearing loads of horror stories of stupid prices!!!! Paid just over £650 last year!!!!
@@t3ucy I wouldnt buy it unless you can get warranty from RR and you can afford the repairs. I have been going back and forth with multitude of issues.
@@ManiSuRealwhat engine do you have. My mum has had hers for 3 years and no issues. You must be treating it really badly???? Did you get it from new as well?
Got neighbour who has had 2 of these SVRs in the same colour . Unless you have the ability to store them in a locked secure garage I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole. Nothing funny about guys looking at them with torches and balaclavas at 0200 in the morning whilst you are fast asleep.
First i have noticed this channel . Great advice nice to have a honest chat about things . To help people make there own mind up . Great work guys . But still buy one 😂
I have just heard bad things about Range Rover. Considering the cost of the vehicle and the cost of the insurance its a nightmare. They are apparently easy to steal and not even fitted with an immobiliser, which could nearly half your insurance premium. Its probably best to lease rather than buy.
Couldn’t justify spending big money on anything with a land rover or Range Rover badge on it, have a mate who’s had major trouble with the velar and Range Rover sport to the point they almost took Land Rover to court
it seems its the only way to get LR to take responsibility sadly. my mum had a velar when they 1st came out and it had electrical issues from the first day she collected it :/
Mate do you recommend the SDV6? 2020 plate, 45k miles on the clock, serviced every year and oil changed. 3 years (extended) warranty. Honestlybfar too close to pulling the trigger
No Do Not Buy! How can Posh company allow 90 of their cars being stolen in a single day in a single city. They should knock on doors like Witnesses do or recall all vehicles by VIN.
@@Imad888. and to be real I seen similar issues with normal brands like ford and chevy so idk I think it’s because of the cost of the vehicle but I have seen people have Land Rovers with no problems at all

Volvo makes really poor quality cars and I don't care what some biased owners think ,I had 2 xc90s and nothing but money pits and trouble
Isnt it ranger rover more reliable since tata motors took over

The 3.0 straight six is a gem of a motor.

Great video mate good to see you coming up! Enjoyed your gtr videos so will give a sub 🏴
