Mate you've owned this for just 2 months, admitted it was your dream car but then put it up for sale because strangers on UA-cam who you've never met don't like the car. It must cost you an absolute fortune in finance and insurance having to change cars every 5 minutes. It just doesn't make sense.
If you have it on finance you "rent" it not own it 🤦♂️

Thanks for the SVR videos!!! I've been a BMW fan and been thinking about getting into the range rover sport models. SVR has alot of depreciation left. Keep up the good work with the channel. Don't worry about the negative comments on the channel. Also, keep up the good work with the explanations of the financials behind these vehicles (the same with the huracan, GT3RS, and now the SVR).
Interesting turning comments off, but I can understand you can only take so much negativity. On a different note me and the wife were playing a new game where every time the acronym 'SVR_ was used we'd take a shot of whiskey! Long story short...I've just cleaned our local Tesco out of Jack Daniels!

There’s no way that an SVR costs £30k a year! What a load of rubbish. First year fair enough there’s the upfront deposit but after that maybe £4-5k a year. Fuel, tyres, 1 service a year..

This could of been so much better. Svr review, then you’re in a Porsche. Basing cost of ownership including finance as opposed to actual running and daily costs. Would of loved to of seen more of the svr, driving it, parking it, attention you get etc. but definitely got me interested in the channel.
The real world question is what is the reliability when the warranty ends and what are the bills of fixing one

If you buy a Range Rover SVR, you know they are bad for economy they do about 10 mpg urban if you re lucky, And all Archie does is wind get and moan about the cost.Tony is right to say get a car that you can afford.

This video seems eerily familiar. As it feels that Archie has had made a video about a SVR and its running costs.... BEFORE?!
The figures for the SVR don't really add up and didn't take resale into consideration, clearly they're not cheap but it wouldn't cost 30k as the finance you would be essentially getting back after interest and depreciation, no one would buy a car that costs 110k new and costs 30k a year to run, its more likely 7/8k if you dont take the value or finance into consideration the rest is a moving variable, also most people that own these stick them onto their trade/fleet insurance or aren't under 30 unless they're a footballer so the insurance costs are a bit excessive.
I hate that huge rear wing on the GTRS. It's just so garish when the rest of the car is understated and stealthy.
Years ago before all these leasing deals etc. I used to buy cars on HP and yes it did break the bank with all the payments, field etc. But I had fun, my mates had fun and at least I had some of my investment back on selling. I wouldn’t dream of spending such sums on a car anymore even though I can afford to, I simply will not find the time to enjoy the cars due to work and family commitments being priority
How else would a person jump into one of these if not for PCP or HP, buying in cash is a bold move when interest rates are so low.
A know a man with a major collection of cars including not one but two La Ferrari’s and even he was telling me one day that his SVR is a joke to run haha!

Well if you make £300k per year then it doesn't matter, it only matters if you earn £35k or £50k, and only a fool would buy one if they earn that. Also not to mention if the person earns say £70k but they are worth £2million then they can afford it. Saying it isn't worth it without knowing a persons financial situation isn't worth it.
You can keep your car. I’m happy with my Toyota Camry 2014. Bought it off from someone for $7,000 in 2017 and I never have any issue. That’s a bargain I’m happy with mate.

Archie lad. I refer to your latest video about selling your SVR. I don't think you should sell it, sod all the moaners. However, you have made your decision to sell, so why not replace it with something no one else has bought amongst you UK UA-camrs... A Tesla Model X, the P100D Ludicrous model that is.
You can mod this car, wrap it... no need for an exhaust, modify the bodywork (a number of styles available from the US), make it yours, make it different. You can get your mates in it too, just like your Range Rover. Imagine the drag races with Christian, what would he have to turn up in to beat you?
Not normally one for commenting but thought I'd have my 2p worth. As others have said, the SVR was always a bad buy and that's all I'll say on that. Can appreciate you trying to take more content to the track and not something many are doing.
As a thought, you have possibly the best ever daily on order (RS6) you probs dont need another. Why not take some of the cash you get back from the SVR and start a track car build series, like car throttle done with the Project MX-5. Something affordable for the masses then turn it into a track weapon from a racing drivers point of view and what you should be wanting on track from a car.... you could milk that for at least a year and cost you well less than the cost of that SVR... just a thought.

Got to feel sorry for Archie in some respects ... Archie buys a car and TGE and JE buy the same but better spec/model/newer/bigger ... you get where I'm coming from.
He's been in the background for a few months from his "mates" channels and has been struggling for content imho, then buys an SVR that he can't afford to try and have some relevant content ...
