@@thechairthechair1667 when the ball is pressed against the treadmill, the moving rubber suddenly stopped, his body is unaware and is forcefully stopped whilst his momentum still carries him forward hence why he falls. @@ezura4760 From what I can see, because the treadmill is lifted because the ball is pulled under it, the man immediately stopped running to see what is going on. The rubber conveyor didn't stop. In a normal scenario, the man's lower limbs pushes him forward to counteract the rubber conveyor's backwards pull against his whole body. However, when the man stopped running to see what is going on, as mentioned before, the rubber conveyor doesn't stop. This causes the man's feet to be pulled backward by the rubber conveyor. Thus he falls.

I think in general people interacting in society would say that the first rule of being around other people is to not act in a way to deter or harm another person. It's pretty simple, don't physically attack someone, don't act reckless that it endangers and harms another person. Speak to them kindly, be fair in all dealings, if they got in line first you get behind them. If they drop something, you help them and definitely don't steal what they drop. If you are in a public crowded place be kind and respectful, let elderly sit in chairs, let pregnant women sit in chairs, let disabled sit in chairs. Why did the parents refuse to take responsibility? When the child grows up, she may act like this again. I feel sorry for this guy and he was hurt so much and received no apology. Hopefully he could get some relief from the online support.
Firstly, a gym isn't meant to be as an public area. It typically comes with an age restriction, and in some countries, this is even enforced by law. So in this incident, it seems like both the property management and the parent dropped the ball on this one. They should've been more aware of the danger they were putting the kid and gym-goers in. Can you imagine if both parties ended up getting seriously hurt or worse, losing their lives? Just chalking it up to an "accident" wouldn't cut it in court - they need to own up to the part they played in this.
The fact that there are people like this who are parents is outrageous it's their sole responsibility of this accident how could they just say they aren't responsible take them to court!
That girl intentionally pushed that ball against the treadmill. She could've harmed him fatally. She needs to be disciplined and kept locked in her room.
She was curious to see how the ball rolled on the moving treadmill. It wasn't intentional. She had no idea the man would faceplant, as did neither of us really.
That's just extremely harsh for a child that looks under the age of 10. Ofc kids don't know anything, it's the parents/guardians responsibility to teach them that and ALL the blame should be on the parents for leaving them unsupervised.
The kid was foolish and curious. The parents were idiotic for not telling their children (who shouldn't be at the gym in the first place) that exercise equipment can be very dangerous and seriously injure them if they mess around near it. Very pathetic that they didn't at least apologize to the man for what happened. Like it or not parents are at least partially responsible for their children until they come of age. My parents wouldn't even let me near running machinery until I was like 7 or 8 and could fully understand the "how" of "you can get hurt".
Wow, can’t believe the parents are so callous. He could have sustained very serious injury. And I know the girl is young but she seems to be intentionally leading the ball towards the treadmill. It’s not like the ball was out of control and it looks like she knew exactly what she was doing as if she was curious what would happen. Rewatch the video and maybe people will see what I mean about the little girls conduct as well, parents are still responsible for this but the kids actions are telling as well.
I’ve been to the gym when young children were roaming wild. It’s tough to get/stay in the “zone” when you have to keep one eye on the hazards they create.
I believe in karma, the fact their parents didn't teach their kids well will come back and haunt them. The kid will shove a metaphorical ball onto their paths down the road.
Since this is on tape (with evidence) and the girl is too young to take responsibility, therefore the parents or whoever took the girl to the gym should be responsible for any punitive damages! I don’t think a simple apology is enough to justify this case. What if the man fell back and hurt the girl instead, I think the girl’s guardian will probably comes after the poor guy 😮

He was running at a fast pace so the inertia was high. Poor guy that should’ve really hurt, wouldn’t be surprised if he’s concussed from it. Hope he’s okay and got checked out. The parents should then be slapped with his medical bill at the very least.
Not to scare, but he even fell on the BELT of treadmill. Poor dude could've had the skin torn if things were worse. I can't imagine the noise the incident would've made.
I know what I'm about to comment is not related, but this is about the inertia part.
Inertia only applies when an object is moving or is stationary right? So why is the man's inertia high? Yes he is running. One a treadmill. And clearly his body stays still ( well, his legs aren't staying still obviously). So what part of this man's injury is related to inertia?
So its impulse force then, am I right?
@@thechairthechair1667 when the ball is pressed against the treadmill, the moving rubber suddenly stopped, his body is unaware and is forcefully stopped whilst his momentum still carries him forward hence why he falls. Like when you emergency brake your car your body is violently thrown forward. This is your body's inertia.
Why do you think the man was injured?
@@ezura4760 From what I can see, because the treadmill is lifted because the ball is pulled under it, the man immediately stopped running to see what is going on. The rubber conveyor didn't stop. In a normal scenario, the man's lower limbs pushes him forward to counteract the rubber conveyor's backwards pull against his whole body. However, when the man stopped running to see what is going on, as mentioned before, the rubber conveyor doesn't stop. This causes the man's feet to be pulled backward by the rubber conveyor. Thus he falls.

Have just ONE kid to look after and the parents can't even do that right

The fact that there are people like this who are parents is outrageous it's their sole responsibility of this accident how could they just say they aren't responsible take them to court!

That's just extremely harsh for a child that looks under the age of 10. Ofc kids don't know anything, it's the parents/guardians responsibility to teach them that and ALL the blame should be on the parents for leaving them unsupervised.
Of course, her parents need to teach her right from wrong before she gets a Porsche instead of a ball one day, and ploughs her car into pedestrians.

Legand says he is still waiting for an apology
The little girl was an undertaking Hitwoman.
Poor guy
Just sue the parent, so they can learn how cheap is apologize
Since this is on tape (with evidence) and the girl is too young to take responsibility, therefore the parents or whoever took the girl to the gym should be responsible for any punitive damages! I don’t think a simple apology is enough to justify this case. What if the man fell back and hurt the girl instead, I think the girl’s guardian will probably comes after the poor guy 😮
bro i never wanted to strangle a kid this much before. that kid isnt even that young, purposely did it on his treadmill to check what happens
That is what I saw too! This kid did it on purpose.
You are ridiculous.
Of course the parents avoided taking repsonsibiity, if they were responsible parents, the child wouldn't be there in the first place.
