Awesome video I don’t have many devices but I think this would work for my Mac Mini M2, I just lost my mid 2011 iMac i7. I have a few old school and new school devices. Will this work with Thunderbolt 1?
@@jimd1968 so I have a Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C to Thunderbolt 1 adapter) which worked fine to Thunderbolt network between a 2012 MacBook Pro and my 2017 I had before getting the i9. For the video (and for the lolz) I actually tried to adapt the adapter (sorry for the PUNishment) - to test it with my 2012 and sadly it didn’t work. Sorry I don’t have better news for you.
Actually, I’m not totally sure if the TB1 devices would work. I’ll double check. Those MIGHT with an adapter. But an old computer won’t sadly. I’ll let you know soon!
