      So I use the 2 AX89X routers in AIMesh and have for a while now. Connecting 10GbE between them has been flawless. The best thing you can also do is download a wifi analyzer and manually throw the 5 GHz on a channel that’s not clogged up with other networks (do this on the first router). When AIMesh does its process, it’ll be on the same channel / SSID. Good luck!

    I've been with Bell since 2007 when I moved into my brand new / new build home. At that time Bell's fastest service was 15 mb/s and that was painfully slow. When they offered 100Mb/s I switched over and that was a little more tolerable. When Bell announced Fiber 1 Gb internet many years ago I got super excited and started planning how to wire my home to take advantage of that service. I had an electrician wire many CAT8 cables throughout and I purchased many 10 Gb switches. The wait was very long and I saw Rogers tunneling Fiber into my neighborhood but I stuck with Bell and their 100 Mbp/s speed. It was only last year when they had their contractors started digging and tunnelling Fiber wires into my neighborhood. When that happened I went out and upgraded my home routers to 2 ASUS GT-BE98 Pro because it supported 10Gb speeds and Wifi7. I also built a new Synology NAS 8 Bay unit and stuffed it with eight 22 TB drives (2 drive fault tolerance) and installed the OEM 10Gbe network card. I was all set, then by the time the contractors got to my home, Bell decreased their offering from 8Gb/s to 3Gb/s. The technician said I was the first one to sign up for this service in my neighborhood and the main panel which is housed just outside my area has a switch that he could flip to change my speed to 8Gb/s. He said there is no way he was allowed to give me that speed and I would have to call Bell to see if I can have that service. He also said that other neighborhoods where customers already had 8 GB/s were allowed to keep that speed and were "grandfathered" as long as they kept that service. This was all last year, I'll try to call them again soon and see if I can negotiate for them to upgrade my speed to 8Gb/s, I do not mind to pay for the extra cost.

    Your Polkaroo hoodie is awesome. Now I need a Friendly Giant silkscreen t-shirt. heh. Work for TVO? Honestly, Blackmagic Resolve is where things are now. Hone your skills on that and grab the views. You may love FCP, but they'll never recover from imploding their fanbase when they killed Studio and frankly, they lost the plot (I'm a Flame editor so I know what's it's like to use a system nobody cares about). Also, I skip cutty intros. as I see/make them way too much. Give me an Egoyan film with 10 cuts in the whole thing any day. heh. I subbed your channel 'cause why not right? :). Also, for your metrics, I found your channel as I'm tired of Rogers screwing up my connection and fibre is beckoning. Your channel looks interesting. I watched your video on loop haha. Hello, I think a very important point that will help you improve the views and performance of your channel are the Thumbnails, I will tell you my little experience on UA-cam. On my channel when I barely had 300 followers with a single video I went to 2 thousand followers and more than 200 thousand views. After that I had good numbers of 20 thousand views, and then the videos fell again. Researching too much daily I realized how important miniatures are. In fact, if we analyze it in more detail, it is the cover of what we are going to see, if it does not attract, if there are no contrasting colors, if there are no facial expressions that generate emotions to the viewer. All the effort dedicated to the creation and editing of the video was in vain. There are even miniature designers, it’s a world that I didn’t even know existed. Right now I’m finishing a Matte painting course that is the same technique used by the best UA-cam content creators to create their thumbnails. I will leave you this phrase that I heard and I could try on my channel “A bad miniature can sink a video and never be found again” in reverse “A good miniature can make a very bad video viral.” I use a translator because I speak Spanish. Greetings

    I've only just seen this on my feed as a stranger to your channel and was pretty hooked by the idea of a genuine player at odds with a inconsistent game. Firstly, I wonder if its your subscribers skipping the first 30 seconds because they know they want to see the meat of the content and your personable appeal. Second, I can only think (based on one other comment I glanced) that as your thumbnail can accomplish a lot, maybe the digest could be even shorter and/or more teasing and provocative for the mind, begging watchers to find out more with even less info set out. But I cant personally find fault with them. MAYBE trying full screen consistently in intro would help for people watching on a phone..

    Intros are stupid and I rarely watch them. There’s one UA-camr that does “intros” that I always watch, but he likes to do little skits at the beginning with a character he created and they’re usually hilarious. Ninjon is the creator and his channel is all about miniature painting. But I’m also a guy that generally watches all videos at double speed, because many creators pad their time generally by posting at 0.75x speed… anyone else notice that? Even having feedback won't help as much. The thing is UA-cam doesn't actually know why someone watches any video. For example, If an intro looks visually nice but I can't stand the creators voice or looks. Then I click away. UA-cam doesn't know that part. They only know I clicked away. Also, listening to the UA-cam guru's tell you what works doesn't account for survivorship bias. They can only tell you what has worked for them. If they actually knew what works for everyone then they would solve everybody's problem. Some people will be winners and some will be losers. That's how life works. I would say if you keep worrying about numbers then it's going to clog your head up with assumptions you can't control. As of this comment, this video is at 143 views. Put half of those people in a room and that's a lot of people you could help. I'm not a regular viewer of this channel. I only clicked because I understand the frustration as a content creator. I wanted to hear your perceptive. So even though I was shown the video. I more then likely won't watch your other videos. I checked the channel and the videos just don't seem interesting to me. Intros are outdated. Intro information can be communicated in the thumbnail and video title. If you watch the big guys, their intros are usually clickbaiting with bold, shocking statements. Those intros aren't giving you information on what the video is, but instead, they push a preconceived opinion and then challenge that opinion in the video.

    • @TechMixr
      @TechMixr Місяць тому

      @@lyonsbayne so from my experience, there were ultimately 2 versions of what we call intros The first version was your channel logo with music which was like 2010-2018 basically. The 2nd version is this Mr Beastified hype up intro. I hated the idea of doing them but thought based on the “gurus” on UA-cam that I had to make strong hooks with teases about the upcoming content. Either way, I’m going to go back to basics where I pay attention to what I want to create with what the audience actually wants. Just to add to this. Unfortunately, you're not big enough to get random casual viewers. We found you because of a search for a very specific topic (in my case, it was about Bell fibe), and enjoyed your videos enough to subscribe for more. If I'm a new viewer here, then it's likely I already know what I want to learn about, I don't require an intro to explain what I'm going to watch. Like that bag intro, if I'm looking for a review for a specific bag in youtube search, find your video, I wouldn't need to watch an intro because I'm already going to have a surface level of understanding of the bag because I'm interested enough to search for it.
