  • Experience the extraordinary story of the star Michael League and the Tuscan luthier Bruno Bacci, relive the personal challenges that led to the construction of the incredible bass with worm-eaten wood. This film is about friendship, music, and our most beautiful bet: the one on ourselves.
Limited to just 40 pieces, Amrita is not merely an instrument; it is a masterpiece, a testament to the unique collaboration between two musical visionaries. Join Michael League and Bruno Bacci as he takes you on a compelling journey through the history of Amrita, unveiling the secrets behind its distinctive sound and exceptional craftsmanship. This is more than a bass; it's a work of art, a symphony of friendship, creativity, and musical mastery.
Follow the intertwined stories of Michael League and Bruno Bacci. In this journey spanning over two decades of craftsmanship, the narrative unfolds around how they met and formed their unique bond, the challenges they faced, and Bruno Bacci's creative process in search of the perfect sound for the worm-eaten wood.
Bacci’s revolutionary approach turns this unique wood into a sonic powerhouse, leveraging its natural wormholes as intricate acoustic chambers. These enhance the bass's depth and clarity, producing a sound that blends the soulful resonance of vintage instruments with the crispness of modern technology.
Light in weight yet rich in sound, each Amrita bass is an embodiment of innovation, combining artistic craftsmanship with unparalleled acoustic engineering, marking a new era in the legacy of bass guitars.

I've been lucky enough to spend with with Bruno and watch him work in his house in Tuscany. We both share a deep interest in building instruments - and Bruno is on a different level to anyone I've met. I got to see the body wood for the Amrita, feel it, hear about the hours that goes into prepping each and every body, I even got to do some carving on one of the necks. These are special instruments, made in a unique place that has creativity flowing in and out of every doorway. Anyone who buys one will be receiving a truly one of a kind instrument for people brave enough to be different. A huge congrats not only to Bruno, but to Michael League also for combining ideas and passion and making one of the most iconic basses available today.
