    This video was made for some of my viewers who have been injuring their shoulders, wrists, and shins during their training. There are so many beginners out there who buy heavy bags and set them up at home. They then just lay into them with all their might thinking they are training like Mike Tyson, Floyd Mayweather, or Connor McGregor. The difference is that they have developed proper mechanics and chose the correct heavy bags for their style of fight training. In this video, I will give 2 reasons why beginners doing at-home training get hurt.

    This explains alot of why my shoulder feels strained as after throwing power hooks on the bag sometimes. I'll be watching my form . Thank you coach, long time problem here!

    Great video and content. A sincere thank you for this as this was something I was struggling with, especially when throwing a right cross, had no Idea why the front of my shoulder was still getting tweaked as I thought this was only from poor form 'slap hooks'.     Is it common to have stiff right shoulder and some soreness? I'm beginners and practicing punching bag for last 3 days. I use bag with rugs

      It’s easy to hurt both wrists and shoulders when starting boxing.
