Networking can be a bit overwhelming at times. I hate the idea of seeming needy, bothering people, or blowing an opportunity with a bad first impression.
I can't stop watching all your videos. The information is really helpful. It's never easy as an artist but with Burstimos videos it's getting easier.
My first networking event I was completely nervous and barely socialized. My second event a member of the planning team gave me the advice to interview fellow attendees and post the videos on the event Facebook group. This was a great icebreaker and gave participants exposure. By the end of the event people were approaching me to be interviewed. I just asked questions about where they were traveling from and any key takeaways from the panelists advice. Basically just selfie recorded our conversation so that other people in Facebook group who couldn’t attend in person got value too.

Y’all have taught me so much. Loving this channel. I think the one about writing a press release was VERY informal. It has added value to the way I approach releases. I used to be super eager to make stuff and release it. Having a strategy is gonna change a lot for me. I feel it.
