    Beautiful guitar, but you're correct, Austin, about the split coil sound. I used to own a '79 ES-335 (dark walnut finish) with a coil split switch on the treble horn, and I never used it, because the sound was anorexic.

      Man. That must have been a beautiful guitar. Im on my second LP now. First is a deluxe goldtop. And now a bfg. Surprisngly its one of my favorite LP ive EVER played sounds incredible and plays amazinggg. Need the fret ends files. Bit sharp but thats it. But im getting a es 345 next and a es les paul. I love the 335/345s. And i just found out the es les paul is a real thing ans boy its sexy in a bourbon burst

    That flame looks epic as you move the guitar in front of the camera. The difference between a good flame and otherwise is how it moves in the light and so many guitars meet an injustice with stills instead of moving B-roll

    Hi just wondering if you've ever come across a 1980 Les Paul Deluxe natural finish. I unfortunately lost one at a show I was playing on Halloween of 2005 it was my first guitar I loved it I planned on keeping it forever but little too much to drink that night. Somebody ended up leaving with it and I was never able to figure out where it was and the rest is history. It would be nice to just have a look at one again thanks

    What a beauty, it is a shame the tuners placement are not equal, i have seen Gibson do this mis-hap a lot in older guitars. Just look at the b-string washer on the headstock, it is nearly into the binding, not the worst i have seen.

    What a cool guitar! Nice job educating us on these. I noticed that you are leaving your SNARK tuner on the head of the guitar. I just bought one of these and actually read the little manual that came with it. They say NOT TO LEAVE them on the guitar as you can damage the finish.... I don't think they would include that if it had not happened.... Great channel. Keep it up I love the guitars you dig up and share.

      Hey dude, i ment absolutely nothing negative, obviously i like the guy and his videos. The light in my head turned up when he compared this LP to the Citation series, which are probably the most expensive guitars that man can buy new :) (on thomann's website for example), and i was wondering who buys them and are these guitars really sad instruments because no one plays them, and they hang on the wall in the special conditioned cabinets or rest in the cases as a collector's items.

    Would it be worth the investment to get TP6 Tail Pieces for my Les Paul Tribute and SG Faded and if I did should I also get locking tuners for it or would it be ok with the standard Klusons on it? My guitars play pretty well in tune and have good tone but would this give me an upgrade in reliability, tone etc...

    • @Trog
      @Trog  5 років тому

      The TP6 is a waste of time, but is pretty. It’s the same as a regular bridge except you can “fine tune.” It will do nothing to improve tuning stability nor would locking tuners be needed

    What’s your opinions on ESP LTD branded guitars? If you like Gibson SG series guitars than I may have something interesting for you. The ESP LTD Viper series. It’s basically an SG with a full scale neck and EMG-HZ pickups. I dunno may be interesting for a “Would you rock or not” vid. Anyways keep up the good content.
