Constitution re enactment

A theatrical re-enactment of the proceedings of the 1922 Constitution Committee, commemorating the historic work of the Committee, held in the Constitution Room of the Shelbourne Hotel on 25 October 2022. This event, attended by the President of Ireland Michael D. Higgins, was developed specifically to mark the centenary of the adoption of the Constitution of the Irish Free State (Bunreacht Shaorstáit Éireann) by Act of Dáil Éireann sitting as a constituent assembly on 25 October 1922.
