We have to stop watching those who do misleading thumbnails
Sounds "anal", but I watch a lot of these. I keep a list of good watches & those that irritate me. Like having narrators constantly interrupting, or explaining what we JUST WATCHED. It helps. This is going on my do not watch list.

We used to cut holes in old sheets for eyes and go as ghosts with a paper bag. We sure didn't have fancy costumes. We were poor and my mom did her best to give us something to wear for Halloween.
Right as a kid I got sick of being a ghost & an old lady or an old Man 😂😂😂🤦
Ghost or a hobo with a stick over my shoulder holding a tied bandana (my worldly belongings?) wearing my dad's old shirt with pillows stuffing my stomach. I always carried a pillowcase instead of a paper bag. We went door to door and sometimes twice for the good stuff. There was always a dentist or dental hygienist who gave out toothbrushes and sugarless gum. We only hit that house once a year. LOL Some gave out pennies too. Kids around us don't go trick or treating. In the last 23 yrs. we have had one person knock on the door - and it was at 11:00 at night! We filled his bucket and he said he'd be back next year, but never showed up.
Yeah, we would go home and make a different costume and go out for more. Lol. I haven't had trick or treaters for many years. I think people are afraid now. My daughter took her children to the mall. Its safer but very sad with how the world is now.
@@gailhodges7353 When I was a kid, they came out with the warning to have all your candy x-rayed before you eat it because someone may have put needles, pins or razor blades in it. If each piece is not wrapped individually, throw it away. That was a mad rumor that got started. It has literally NEVER happened!! They were just trying to scare us. I took my kids to the mall, the retirement center my husband worked at, and to church where they would have games and prizes, and lots of candy. The folks in the retirement home loved having the girls come and talk to them, and asking about their outfits. They were very generous with the candy too. lol
We made our own costumes. My grandmother used to sew our costumes. When the boys played football they went as football players. My sister would go as a cheerleader bc she was one. There's no excuse to steal a costume. She's just too lazy to make one. I paper macheted my son a Brutus the Buckeye mask and one year I made a rubicks cube with a box.

We did not have a lot of money growing up and almost always made our costumes. It was always fun too. I loved being a hobo, and once dressed up like Carol Burnett the mop lady. We had great costumes. Used cardboard and tin foil for swords. We sewed out of old clothes princess dresses, pirate pants for the boys, yarn for wigs and hats. Went as Raggedy Anne once. When times were good, we get store brought but we actually liked making our own costumes better. We also did not have to have an Adult with us when we got old enough, times were safer then. Small town everybody knew everybody. Peace!

We made our costumes too and used what was around the house. We never stold things, our parents taught us better.
She is not indigent, she gets everything paid for by ss disability, rental assistance and food stamps.
My mother would say to you that you’re begging for a judgement….FROM GOD. Instead of being mean and rude, how about thanking God every time you see someone who has qualified for disability in that state that YOU don’t have to struggle with any kind of disabling condition AND that you don’t live in Texas, where white men have a strong tendency to make life very difficult for everybody else. Americans need to stop being so hateful and making these mass proclamations, as though every disabled person is so lucky to be living high on the hog….maybe someday karma will get you and you’ll have to find out how hard that life really is!
A four year old will too know if he doesn’t get to celebrate Halloween.

I'm 58. My back has pretty much given out. I couldn't make it from front to back in Wal Mart. And I've been fighting to get disabilty for 4 years. I don't get food stamps or housing. She has WAY more money than I do as well as others like me. She knew Halloween was coming. She should have bought what she needed at the beginning of the month when she got her check.
The only person who went berserk was me, because it was a LIE! Get your act together!
