The last question, which answer was the worst one? Scoey's, Brett's or Fannie's? I think Fannie's was the worst of the three and Audrey should have won the game easily.

Super Match, part 2: PEN Nebenzol-Burke, round 1, question B: "Much less exciting; just his PACEMAKER." (Bzzt!) Question A: "She who goes to work with dogs comes home to SCRATCH FLEAS." (Bzzt!) Round 2, question B: "This was back when there were several of them in Egypt, of course. He married a SPHINX." (Bzzt!) Question A: "Well, it was pretty late, and he was pretty lit, so she couldn't make it all out - but it was SOMETHING ABOUT A FLAG AND A FANNY." (leaning in Fannie's direction and blowing a kiss as the buzzer sounds)
These games bring back a lot of memories. However, I was thinking that today's producers would insist on a strict format of ending an episode with the bonus round. They would then introduce a new contestant/challenger at the beginning of the next episode, ensuring that no game would carry over to the next day,. This, of course, would leave little time for all of the jokes, banter, and wisecracks that made this show so funny and endearing.

It's so crazy. I'm freakin' 26 and I would rather watch this nostalgic show than anything on Netflix or Hulu. Crazy

Wow.
I really enjoy watching Match Game on Buzzr because they show the whole episode and don't edit like the game show network does.
Gene Rayburn, come on down! You are the next contestant on Match Game '75!
Thats the same voice isnt it?
Yes
Scoey's joke about his grandfather being the first black politician in Georgia was PERFECT! Informed and hilarious!
Who cares.
I'm addicted to match game.
I'm very sure Bob Barker heard about this Price is Right reference on Match Game '75!!!
Blank Pal was so easy to match. Of course today it could be Pay Pal but I first thought of Pen.
That " Come On Down" bit with Gary was stupid, but it was also very funny. Sometimes simple clean humor can still be very funny.
This is Johnny Olson speaking for Match Game 75, a Mark Goodson/Bill Toddman production.
Todman
Stay tuned for Tattletales next over most of these CBS stations.
"Boy, you look like you ought to be laying down." That was pretty hilarious at 0:55.
Excellent episode!!
No tattoos or vocal-fry. Fine looking women.
Sometimes I think these panelists did not care if the contestants won. At least not the regular ones.
Same here.. 58 Yeah I watched this show when I was younger.
The last question, which answer was the worst one? Scoey's, Brett's or Fannie's? I think Fannie's was the worst of the three and Audrey should have won the game easily.
Personally, all 3 were equally rotten. Scoey was right in trying to hide, though. And what was Fannie on when she thought of that rotten answer?
AGREE!
Fannie
That was funny; what Gary did!
Gary does a good representation of some of the people on TPIR.
That is hilarious!

He did a great imitation of Charles Nelson Reilly when Charles was on vacation - so people wouldn't miss him.
@@edwardlozano8807 That didn't happen til 2 years later.
Ha ha, and i though that Gary was imitating Daffy Duck.
I watch this every day at work on mute and have never heard their voices until now!
Richard Dawson looked alot like Quint from Jaws during that time.
It's the mustache. He looks better clean-shaven.
I agree. Richard looked a lot like my uncle and Quint reminded me of him. He had movie-star looks.
They did have a lot of fun on the show!
The women were gorgeous back in the 1970s. Not these days. They don't care anymore what they look like nor about how they are viewed by others. Sad.
The women were so much more beautiful back then.
The sequence at 13:40 is great...until Gary then ruins it.
Wow! How I would have loved to meet Aubrey or Glenda back in 1976. Oh, wait....I was 3.
Who the phuck is Aubrey ?
@@joeambrose3260 A fine chick!

They had WAY too much fun on this game show! Am I right?
Well vodka helps
The answer was clear as day! Fannie, Brett, and Scoey-boooooo!!!! Dumb answers!
Those three needed to watch more Price is Right!!!
Having never seen Gary on anything but *MASH*, he was an incredible choice to sit in for Charles Nelson Riley. The guy has some personality.
Good episode,attractive contestants
Match Game's writers sure had Egypt and sheikhs on the brain during that month in 1975. There was another Egypt/sheikh question the following week.
Except there are no sheiks in Egypt.

Glenda reminds me of an actress...I can't think of who, though.
I was thinking Glenda the good witch.
How do you categorize episodes as Gold Star?
Special and funny moments that stand out the most!
Gary Burghoff finally had me in stitches portraying Gene "Come on Down!"

Hard to believe that Audrey would be about 70 something today, time really does march on, I mean for God sakes I was only 12 back then
I do a mean Johnny Olson all you got to do is yell and go up on your sentences
Scoey, seriously? Lol
He's correct. Sheikh is pronounced 'shake'.
“He’s great... believe me.” Why did he interrupt her? I wanted to hear the rest.
at 18:37 I think is the monitor on stage right that I mentioned that I think Charles is watching at times during the show.. ;0)
