Watched others and your idea using the UV flash light and foil underneath is fantastic. Thanks for sharing. Hi Kristy , hello from the UK , Very informative , if I decide to do colouring beakers I will definitely drop by and watch again ,, actually I'm a woodturner checking out the wiring , I'm making a motorized turntable , I have the same make and model as yours (AC 100 - 127v ) I know nothing about electric , wired it up as shown , left it running while l found the "grub screws" and the allen wrench , it was over heating and got rather hot ,,. Don't know if it's the voltage ( UK runs on 240volts ) hoping for advice ,,. Stay safe ,,. Regards Alf

    • @KristisCustomCreations
      @KristisCustomCreations  Рік тому

      It may be the voltage. I literally know nothing about electricity and wiring but here in the US we mainly run on 110. The motors do tend to get warm but I've never had one overheat. I hope you have a wonderful day!

    My husband followed your video and made one of these. I have a question about the motors….mine are getting really hot to the touch.
    Have you found this to be the case as well? I’m afraid to let it spin overnight.

    • @KristisCustomCreations
      @KristisCustomCreations  2 роки тому

      Yes, the motors do get quite warm so make sure that you don't put your Turner all the way up against the wall. I don't allow my motors to touch the wall. I run my turners overnight all the time and have never had any problems.

      I didn't put a price in there. It's hard to say how much it was because I had him build 7 separate turners for me all at the same time. Before the price of lumber went ridiculously high, you could probably build it for no more than $15-$20
