I’m not even making one.. I just enjoy watching you create things so I can apply your ideas to other things I’m doing 🤩. Everybody should watch videos about stuff they don’t necessarily want to make. Altho I do resins, paints, glass/stained/kiln/flame/mosaic/sandblasted etc daily - I watch a LOT of other crafts & things out of my genres. The Crafsman & others alike is a great channel.. but just in general.. opening up to fresh ideas.
Love ya brother. So happy to see your channel growing quickly 💯👌👏👏👏
Wow thanks!! I also watch other unrelated creative channels because it help me to think of my craft in different unique ways!😉👍❤
Great video! You've made it so simple and I love that the video was short and didn't drag out for an hour and a half. Keep up the good work 👏 👏👏
Awesome thanks!!!
Love your personality!! Don’t ever change!
Thanks for the video. I just built my quad tumbler turner after watching and using your measurements. Can't wait to use it. 😁
Thanks a bunch. You are a life saver. Now I can have as many as I want without paying those ridiculously high prices. My husband is very handy when it comes to stuff like this. Thank you again. 💙💙💙
I've had my motors for maybe 7 months now but haven't been able to find a good video on how to build one but now I can finally make mine and I can't wait!
Awesome!!
Love this video! Love that you explain and show everything! Thank you!
My hubs just built this for me!!! Thank you so much for this!! I can't wait to start using it! Also he bought me the airbrush system you use! You should do more air brush videos! ❤️❤️❤️ Thanks again!
Awesome-sauce!!!!
I made my custom tumbler turner using some basics I learned from this video yesterday!! Thank you for such an awesome how-to!!!
Awesome!!
Thanks Terry! This is gonna be a fun project for me once the weather stays warm. Gotta start crankin' out those tumblers!!! Showing ALL the steps is soooo crucial too, which is something a LOT of YTs don't do. Also, showing the measurements IN the video instead of "in the description below" is VERY important. Can't count the number of videos I've watched that do that, so THANKS!!
Awesome video instructions. I’m new to this. I’ve gone from making shirts, keychains, pop sockets and now I’m ready to make my tumblers. Can’t wait to get my hubby to build one . Love your smooth southern voice, and videos. Another Bob Ross in a making!!😁
Thanks!!
Thank you. I love that your a bit of a practical nut case and make the project seem simple
we all have our strengths, lol
I love this video!! You explained everything so well!
Such a fun tutorial, I'm trying to design a turner box that will work for my crafting space, this has surely given me some ideas, thank you
Great! Glad it helped!!
You just changed my life ! I love your video !!! personally start my Tumbler Journey Tomorrow !!! Motivation at it's BEST
Thanks and Have fun!
Fabulous video. My brother did the woodwork and my husband did the wiring…. We did put bearings in and I just love it.
Lynne
I really enjoyed your quad tumbler turner tutorial video. Great Job!!!
Thank you!
Thanks for the video was a big help. Used most of what you did but had to do it a little cheaper. I also added curing spots to the inside for poles to rest
Awesome!
Thank you soo much for this tutorial.
My husband and I just built my first quad turner..so excited !
Fun times ahead!!!
Definitely. We used some foam similar to a pool noodle and lined the outside holes with it in place of the levels for now. But it’s keeping the arm from wobbling so that’s great!
Thank you so much for this. I will be (attempting 😂) making this! You're the real mvp
👍💥👊
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!! You are super fun to watch!
I’m Excited to Ask my Dad to Help me make your Tumbler Box!! What a Great Teacher You Are!! 👍 thank you for making this video for us Slower Folk that couldn’t figure it all out on our Own 😝
Oh awesome!...and I want to tell you that I have since made an improvement and added these bearings and it is a game changer!! (I can send you a picture of how I mounted them, just message me on Instagram, Facebook, or email from my website).

Thanks for this useful video. bolt securing the pvc - genius.
I’m probably never going to make one of these! But you are so informative and funny, I just couldn’t turn it off!! Thanks for all you share!
Hey, i appreciate your watch time!! Thank you!
So-never say never!! My husband is making one with my minimal help! We are having a problem getting the arms straight...we bought the 1/2 inch adapter at Lowe’s and the brass piece has wiggle room-it must be different dimensions from what you have on Amazon. When I set the brass piece on the rim on the adapter the hole was too high to drill it into the adapter...
Love love your graphics with your measurements
Thanks so much 😊
I have an 8 cup turner an ex built for me, but wasn't sturdy and couldn't hold tumblers long, this is the solution I need. Wish me luck as this is a game changer. : )
Best of luck! You'll do great!
😂🤣😂🤣i love the start of your videos!!! Just throw everything on the table and get started😅
lol!
Great tutorial!! Wow your crafty and handy, lol. So glad I found you and subscribed. Keep up the cool work!
Thanks! I'm glad you found me and subscribed too!!🙌🏼
I AM HERE CHECKING OUT YOUR WORK. GREAT JOB.
Thanks for stopping by!
I'm gonna get my husband to watch your video, very well explained
That's a tricky part with the lil screw on the motor lol
Thank you for sharing this. I have been wondering how to make these. Love your videos
Thanks! I hope it helps you out!👍
Thanks Duncan, as usual a hilarious and informative tutorial!!! Some things I've learned that work is screws in all the fittings to prevent slide out. Compression fittings will become loose over time. Even pvc cement give out so the screws prevent slide 100%. I use the nylon 1/2" male thread to 3/8" barb instead of the pvc fitting on the motor without the brass fitting. It's a tight fit and requires some heat to get it started. I also use couplings (screwed on not just glued) inside and outside of the front hole that is just a bit smaller than the fitting diameter but still fits the 1/2" pvc through it. The challenge is getting everything straight without binding and making noise so I'm not sure that's the best solution to prevent wobble. Thank goodness for WD40. LOL
Good info, thanks. Always thinking of improvements
Oh yeah. I'm definitely gonna make this in the future! I'm even starting to make Tumblers myself and it's really fun!! Definitely don't wanna make one at a time if I can do multiple at once
Thanks for sharing! Very entertaining & informative 😊
This was amazing. Thank you. Love your content.
Thanks Thanks Thanks Thanks Thanks Thanks (
"Who cares how it looks... you might." 😂
Great tutorial, thank you.
LOL🤣
Great Build ❤
Once again, you have inspired me! There is a local gentleman selling these for almost $200 each. I was seriously thinking of buying one UNTIL I saw this! My only problem is no saw to cut the MDF board....I have ordered the kit from your link...(and tweezers and micca). Can't wait to start! I CAN DO THIS!!!
I didn't cut the MDF either - i had them cut it to the sizes at LOWE'S when i bought it😉👍
You are so awesome I luv watching you ❤
I've been trying it all
Thanks!!
I need one of these thank you for showing how
😉👍People have been asking for a while!
I really need this in my life!!!
It's not too difficult to make😉👍
Great video as always!!👌
Thank you!😉
Thank you so much for this video !! 🥰
Hope it helps!!😉👍
Great video amigo
I was toying with the idea of using a blood pressure cuff but had too much going on to give it a solid go
Interesting idea
Thank you. you are so fun to watch. that is great
😉👍
Great tutorial. Thank you so very much.
my pleasure
Great. Video and enjoyed the humor.
I honestly have to say your videos are the most entertaining I've watched thus far! Most helpful too!!! Thank you!
Thank you....I'm trying to "blow up" but i dont know that its working, LOL🤪🤯🤣
This was great! Thanks!!!
Thanks for stopping by!!😉❤
Awesome video!! Thank you.
😉👍
Thanks for the video!! Just shared the link with the husband so he can make me one!! 🤪
Awesome!! Tell him snap to it, LOL🤣
I just love your videos! You are really talented and funny so thats a bonus!
Thanks, I try to keep it entertaining😉
@@DuncanCustomAirbrush you do an awesome job! I have an art channel wasn’t looking to make tumblers but you made it look so fun that i dipped my toes in lol! Made a dish soap one to start and now I have spray painted and bedazzled every still object in my house 🤗 so thanks! And keep it coming!
@@jp2593 I went to your channel to look for the soap one, the alcohol ink one turned out groovy👍
@@DuncanCustomAirbrush oh thanks! I don’t film much of the tumbler stuff I’m
Not that organized lol. But that galaxy alcohol ink one was a result of one of your videos!
Sending this to my husband so he can build one for me!
Thank you so much!!!
love this. u needlike a balloon but stronger where it starts at a small size and you cn put it inside a tumbler and pump it up to expand to the size u need.
I have thought about that
@@DuncanCustomAirbrush i strong rubber would work but then u have to have a small pump like the one to blow up a matress.. BTW love watching ur vidies only found u yesterday ..lol im defernatly going to try thr soap tumblers.. love them
I use upholstery foam and cut UT in an octagon to be about a half inch smaller than a 20 oz used it on everything from a skinny koozie to a half gal water bottle
sweet! can you send me a pic to my Instagram or Facebook DM?
Brandon. Where can I find it? Picture maybe pretty please.
Just got into turning and needed a DIY setup. Love this. Now about your 1 size fits all idea. Ever see the Aircast immobilizers with a bladder you fill with air? I am no engineer, but I am sure a bladder that expands with air would do the trick.
Thats something to think about!
Thanks for the instructions. Now to get my hubs to make me a big one
Awesome!! I will need to see some of your creations when you do!!
thank you for share > really helps me ,
Spring loaded tool for honing out cylinders then add a little foam to each arm
Great video
Thanks!
Thank you
Very informative
I love your Chanel sooo much
Thank you!
Thanks
Thank you for this video
Hope it helps...i am always looking dor for improvements though 😉👍
Hi,
Love your videos❣
Have you found a way to create a one size fit all insert for tumbler turner? Have an idea.
Thank you for sharing!!! I was able to use your tutorial to make a 6 cup turner last weekend and it is perfect! Well, mines not perfect but the design is great!
Hope you have fun with it!
This is great
I don't know how much purchase (grip) you need internally on your tumbler holders, but here are some ideas that may or may not work;
- drill brush (basically toilet brush with hex shank). The bristles will probably flatten over time unless you can get something high quality.
- a "glass scrubber".. Good quality ones are used for a long time in bars and clubs before needing replacing, so should hold up pretty good. Don't know if they will be wide enough though.
- assorted sizes of "pipe bungs"
- a small pipe with Velcro on it, then neoprene rubber with the other Velcro on it. Wrap neoprene rubber onto Velcro pipe. Add/remove layers as required.
- replace rotating motor with clothes dryer. Cut out door. Insert child and have them hold their hand outside of the dryer. Insert tumbler over child's hand. Turn on dryer to rotate child.
oh geez that last one!😱
Super informative, I am a beginner tumbler maker how about 2 speeds and forward and reverse??Ideas
How do your measurements hold up with tumblers that have handles?
you really said “back it up terry” 😂😂😂 i’m dying lmao
That is the easiest and complete video I have seen! I have 4 separate ones and they are a pain as they were the rotisserie type. I need to make one like this - maybe I can.
I tend to simplify things for myself so I can understand them, LOL! You got this!!
Love it
What if you make a 30 oz tumbler do you use a different size football
Omg!! Thanks!!
Hope it helps!😉👍
I read a blog and this is what they used Fernco 2-in x 1.89-in dia Flexible Donut PVC Fitting instead pool noodles or foam footballs
I programmed this on my cnc machine. Can pump it out in 2 mins..lol, thank for the tutorial
Whoa sweet!
@@DuncanCustomAirbrush id post a photo but can't upload anywhere
Wow Jordon now I need a CNC machine.. My Laser took 25 minutes!! LOL
@@DeZigningLife yea I have one at work so cost me nothing. lol
Is there measurements for the wood being used as well??
Will the ball fit a 15oz and 20oz skinny tumbler?
Try using hard foam vase/pot fillers the ones you can stick fake flowers in ... Love your videos
cool!
another something good to think about!@@DuncanCustomAirbrush
This is prolly a silly question, but what size bolt is that for the brass fittings?
What about a block of foam for the cup end?
Suggestion for the cup hold part. Maybe make it like the universal oil drain plug for cars. They're rubber plug with a threaded rod in the middle that squeezes two plates to push the rubber out too form a seal against a hole. Maybe something like that?
ah cool deal
When you attach the motor wires to the white connector and then to the switch, do you separate the two wires from each motor and connect them in two sets? I’m not sure if I’m making sense 😂
@mixedmediagirl thought ya would luv to see this too.. great idea & money saving for the multi crafter. 😁
So are the bolts #4-40 or #6-32? So confused by the list?
Do you have a supply list with measurements?
I have become obsessed with making cups and it's all because of your beach cup that used real sand!! I went to Florida for the first time this summer and brought back some sand to use in my resin art as well as make some keepsakes for my kids for Christmas. I'll either do this on my can koozie or my 8oz tumbler. I just hope I can make it look just as good. Is there any way you can provide the amazon link to the motors?? I can find the bearings, but not the actual motors. Thank you and I can't wait to hopefully win one of your cups!!
How many rpms do I need? Amazon shows 5-6 or 2.5-3
Just wondering if I need something for the box . I hooked everything the way you have it . Wires all hooked up together . As soon as I go to plug it in the breaker switch pops even if I have switch on or off
My 1st thought is to make sure all your wires from each motor together are from the same side and you will need to use electrical tape to put them together
Awsome..💙
I saw a tutorial where they used the 2in pvc compression donuts from the plumbing section. Kinda looked like it would hold great!!!
hummm, I'll have to look into that, THANKS!!!😉👍 I'm always looking for improvements
@@DuncanCustomAirbrush it looks like a great idea unless its a 20oz skinny cup 😐. But the donut slides on a reducer bushing that is attached to the pipe. Your videos are great! I will have to show this to my husband and maybe have him make me a new multi turner!!!
Yeah and send me a picture of what you're talking about to my messages on either Instagram or Facebook page 👍
@@DuncanCustomAirbrush sent the link that shows it to your Instagram!
The pool noodles with the raised thingys. Maybe coat them in the flex spray?
ahh never thought of that!
Any updates on the tumbler turner please?
All together, what did it cost you to make the box?
I didn’t see in the description of all the materials
lots of wobble in the arms after i connect them. i swear i followed the instructions closely. advice??
I like the brass fitting fix. Maybe I shouldn't have bought the longer ones LOL
