Yep I'm in Ohio too and I finally smoked some 27% Wedding Cake! It's very good but I also am learning more about what terpenes do to a plant and how just because a THC rating might be lower than some others, it still might be just as good as some of the higher percentage stuff. I don't like that it's so expensive and I'm waiting for my grow to almost be done. So there's the price and there is the weird weight. 5.66g is 1/5th of an 1/8? So why not just make it an 1/8 instead of a 1/5? So it's like you're getting overcharged and ripped off by your dealer...lol. I get why people still go to Michigan and I've compared the prices on Leafly. You can get a whole damn ounce in Michigan of 23% THC for $50 bucks!!! That's insane!! Not to mention all the other stuff I heard they give you for free if you buy a certain amount of stuff. @@johnslugger that's the most asinine thing I've ever heard. It's 18 on 6 off for a "proper" veg and 12 on 12 off for a "proper" flower. The plant needs a rest and time to sleep and it does other important things while it's sleeping. Besides, I've used my T5 6500 bulbs for flower and veg and it came out fine. I bought some of the 3000k "bloom" bulbs and put those in now just to make the spectrum a little more like the actual sun for flower but I doubt I even need too. When I flowered with both different bulbs, I didn't notice any difference at all. Maybe there's a difference if you had all the tech and gear you need to test it but I figure if it doesn't make a noticeable difference then there isn't much to it. The reason a plant flowers outside isn't even because of the light color, it's cause the daylight is shorter, therefore cutting off the veg time just like you do indoors when you put it from 18/6 to 12/12. The way you're doing is basically like trying to beat the plant at its own game by speeding things up and it just doesn't work like that. Go watch how all the pros do it here on UA-cam and in the facilities. If someone tells you 24hr light they're just trying to cut costs which a lot of weed farms do and they use way more pesticides than an outdoor guerilla grower would ever use, kinda like those ones they still just in the California hills and mountains. I bet none of them good growers will tell you to do 24hr veg time, and even if you do when you're changing it to 18/6 for flower it's only going into flower cause it's losing those same six hours of light...lol. You're saving yourself like a few days time at most. I've also used my clones and I do keep those under 24hr light until they're ready for veg and when I put them in the tent, guess what? They don't flower! Plants, believe it or not aren't stupid. They are very smart and know exactly what they need to do to stay alive and continue to live. The fact that you said you get 180 gram plants tells me you don't know how to grow. You don't base it off plant count, you base it off how many watts of light you have. It also shows that you're just an "experimenter" and not an actual "grower". Call the grow boss show on his UA-cam channel this weekend and tell him about your special lighting and then watch him laugh at you before totally destroying what you're saying. People that are growing 100's if not 1,000s of plants at once don't have time to "play" with the lighting. They just need something that is efficient and that works over and over and over again.

yes you should cut. i hope you didnt let them freeze. 15% amber is just fine. yours are 70% meaning you've already lost a lot of potency as the amber means the thc is degrading into cbn, meaning you'll have more of a narcotic couchlock high. if that's what your husband needs, for sleep for example, 40% amber is plenty to get that effect.
look up kyle kushman's video and harvesting and drying. they will smell up your house. there are a lot of things you can do to mask the smell, but that's just a reality. the best thing would be to invest into carbon air filters. especially since the colas are large, you should be prudent about drying them properly so they don't get mold, and not drying them too fast so they don't taste like hay.

I guess its time to invest in a better magnifying glass?lol I did just pull the plant and have it hanging right now. But is it best to trim the plant now while its fresh or wait until its dried before trimming? HELP?LOL
There’s no substitute for looking at the trichomes under magnification at 30 X or higher. You generally have to cut off small bits of leaf as close to the top of the flower as possible because you cannot hand hold magnification that powerful steady.
I SCREWED UP!!!!! I even wore my glasses and used a lighted magnifying glass and went out at noon to use the sun in the aid of it. My eyesight is getting so bad i thought it was ready? I believe i picked it a bit too soon. It is the , middle September but i should have left it until the end of the month ......maybe? Plenty of tricombs and a good number all over the plant has its mushroom like top and all fully errect on 90% of the plant. Near the tops of each stalk as im growing outdoors in a garden ,and top my plants for multiple buds/tops. the top buds at the top of each stalk has some that were just starting to bend over a bit but still had a number just forming. The lower buds near the middle and lower parts of the plant all had a white haze and so on lol but I think if i would have waited til most were starting to bend over and turn a bit dark it would have been better.......no?
Hard to change much with only 10-15 days left. Larger in physical size may not be possible, but change in light spectrum can influence the chemical profile of the end product.

We will be getting a frost where I live soon. Will that end plant growth and bud production?
Likely stunt it, so harvest look near for you.
This video told me nothing about WHEN to harvest my plant. 😭
You seek this video... ua-cam.com/video/gzq0YsDdyjE/v-deo.html
There’s no substitute for looking at the trichomes under magnification at 30 X or higher. You generally have to cut off small bits of leaf as close to the top of the flower as possible because you cannot hand hold magnification that powerful steady.
My plant is like 2 foot tall funky and lots of flowers on it how much water and how often should I water it
So it does not wilt.
I needed this my microscope is on back order🤜
Once the microscope arrives it will feel like cheating ;-)
I have a small 16 x hand lens that fits in my pocket and works perfect for my flower inspection.
I already know what pistols, trichomes and buds are.
This channel is for growers of all levels, so hopefully you find other videos on this channel that help expand your education.
Sounds like a selective plant harvest may be best for you.
Thank you
You are welcome, and thanks for the subscription!
Does the taproot affect the selection the breathing
Not sure what question you are asking?
Do these principles apply to autoflowers?
In general yes.
As soon as you see the trichs start to turn amber. Very first signs. She's ready.
Good summary;-)
So no mention of Trichome Coloration then?
This is a general quick in the field guide, trichomes are how you tell the details of exactly when to harvest.
When your trichomes are around 70 to 80% amber shes good to go .
Many favor less percentage of amber.
do you know if a plant seeds if it changes the end product at all as far as thc / cbd / etc ? or is that just bro science lol ?
Overall amounts of cannabinoids will be reduced.
@@DeBaccoUniversity thanks
Hi I’m 67 days into a gorilla glue grow how do I get buds to grow bigger in Last days maybe 10 to 15 days left
Hard to change much with only 10-15 days left. Larger in physical size may not be possible, but change in light spectrum can influence the chemical profile of the end product.
@@DeBaccoUniversity okay thank you for info 👍
Does pollination affect buds and plant yield?
Pollination increases seed product while reducing cannabinoid production.
1 lb touching one stigma produces one seed
My cat loves eating fan leaves 🤔
So you have an automatic lollipop trimmer;-)
Still no clue when to harvest
For specific details try this DeBacco University video... ua-cam.com/video/gzq0YsDdyjE/v-deo.html
Except for the annoying opening "music", the video itself was great !
Luckily that is only 8sec. long;-)
Well the video does not give any info about visually timing the peak harvest but just very general what parts of the plant are female and associated to bud growth...very general with little to zero information just as all the videos ive watched from this channell...nice background information for absolute beginners but not piece of advice to be found
Other videos give more details if that is what you are looking for.
@@DeBaccoUniversity well ive seen quiet a few of your videos now and had the same complaint for pretty much all of them...very general information and not holding on to the video title claiming to give actual advice
Can you tell me y my levfs are curling up like tacos just my new levfs
Check the water and humidity levels as it sounds like a stress response.
Didn’t hear anything about harvesting.
Search the channel for more details.
💚🌱👌💨🤘
Thanks!
Well, that was a wasted 2 minutes and 58 seconds
Hope you find the other videos on the channel educational.
Thanks. You told me nothing.
Hope you find useful content in other videos.
As someone who has been growing since 1977, this video is terrible, and the content in no way matches the description. At no point does he tell anyone watching when to harvest cannabis with visual timing.
See other videos for more specifics.
@@DeBaccoUniversity Why? The one video I watched is dishonest in its title. Use titles that match the video they are attached to, then you won’t lose more viewers in the future. Good luck.

Have you looked at any of the the 1,200+ other videos on the channel?
@@DeBaccoUniversity Not going to waste my time.
To visually identify when time to harvest when three quarters of the stigmas have turned red wait about a week also the tip when it comes down to one leaf
Red is not seen in all varieties.
1 0 1 true smoker know when to harvest theres no method or time, when its ready its ready there aint no thow many days or when its your eyes that tell you👊
Hard to have new growers be able to use the information you provided to get a general idea of when to harvest.
Mr debacco I think they just need to put seeds in the grown and see for themselves
Keep up the videos
When tricombs are 1/2 milky 1/2 amber
That is a good starting point.
