Nice breakdown but with one big mistake: The Top Spin shot part is almost entirely incorrect. First of all, it's called a 'Top Spin' shot, not a top shot. You have a less risk of hitting the net than with the flat shot with poor timing, the opposite of what you said. It's the best shot it use when in no man's land or close to the net because it's shot higher and can transverse the net easier than a flat.
My advice: turn the bar off and leave the feedback on because you got distracted by the bar and you don't look at the ball anymore. You will losea lot in the beginning but after a while the rhythm will become your second nature. Your positioning and aiming will get better too.
I am convinced no one will ever make a great realistic tennis game. Forehands look weird and for some reason every tennis game allows you to play comfortably in no mans land
Specifically for clay, I would suggest using topspin shots when you’re in a neutral rally. Compared to the other surfaces, very deep topspin shots will be much harder to hit on clay since the surface causes the ball to spin at a much faster rate after the bounce. This results in the ball bouncing high and quick, hopefully out of the opponents ideal strike zone.
Thank you for your video. I have a question: I made a player with 95 power and I play in expert mode. Despite the high power value, even with perfectly timed shots (both precision and power shots) it seems to me he never hits as powerful as he should, contrarily to some AI shots which are unbelievably fast and accurate even if their power value is lower than mine. How's that possible?
Really enjoying the game even though I am Sh&t at it, but question is how TF you hit those crazy angles that send you off to no man's land, like it drops just on your side of net and then just I am breaking my controller trying to hit those angles
Please consult someone that's played the sport before making another guide about sports games. about 1/3 of the information is just wrong and you completely called a topspin shot the wrong thing. It's literally the title of the game.
this game just got me back into video games for the first time in 20 years. I love it.

Legend! you should try ea fc with some sliders and manual.... I know it's not a good game, but makes it aceptable

I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but I'm losing almost all the time in 2k Tour ONLINE :-)
You didn't show inside out shot.
What about serving aces

Isnt clay the slowest surface? Top spin shots are hard to hit when playing on hard surfaces..

Try using the right thumb stick instead of the buttons made my serves seem much more powerful

When you aim, you have to aim your left stick into either the bottom right or left of your controller to help get an extreme angle
Oh ok.. I was always using power shots lol
Ouch - same here
I haven't played TopSpin since the original and boy im realising that a forgiving game. I am struggling heaps with these new mechanics.
how do you combat the overpowered outwide advance serve
No clue it’s so broken
You just have to try and read it, and move your player to the outside, before they hit it!
How i can run behind the line ? And change direction fast???

Hello, i understiood everything except top shot, when to uspe top shot?
As soon as I said a flat shot is this most basic u just knew he doesn’t know anything about tennis. Top spin shot is always the basic shot
Still waiting on you uploading the drop shot part and playing an actual drop shot 😀
Just as in real life 90% of my shots are top spin. I prefer to play the game the same as I play IRL.
cant a hit a drop shot for my life but everyone else hits it perfect on me :/
🔁😂

Simply not true!
O on PS5 is the best safe shot.
You can tray power shots nearly out of every situation.
X is way more risky!
