If u are tennis player u can easily expert the game. U know when to release the button in order to hit the ball exactly at the time of contact point. Wait for the ball to bounce and hit it precisely. This is most realistic tennis game ever developed.
Honestly, I'm really happy this game is really good. So for me, I played tennis as a kid. Then I blew out my shoulder at 16, ruining my college tennis hopes. When I was injured I played a ton of Top Spin 3 and really loved it. Now as an adult my shoulder still has so much pain, I cannot play tennis again without excruciating pain. So I called it quits at age 29. Top Spin 2k25 gives me a nostalgia of Top Spin 3, and also gives fills the tennis itch, without the shoulder pain. Also the realism is awesome. From how the surfaces actually play like they would in real life. The slower sliding clay court, to the fast skidding grass court. Also tennis strategy actually applies. If your in trouble to use a slice, or a topspin cross court to give more time for recovery. You can't just spam power forehands from 10 feet behind the baseline, really cool. Only thing that I've noticed that is a bit weird is that at lower levels in myplayer, I get a weird animation where my player initially moves away from the ball, and forced me to not get to the ball in time due a lower speed starting out.
Great video, thanks for the info! I will say - I have been going back and forth between normal and hard depending on which tournament I play in and you can definitely tell the difference. It is much harder to finish off points on Hard without getting good/perfect timing about 85-90% of the time, whereas on normal you can win many points on too late or too soon. Also another observation i've made is the AI serve. The AI serve on hard is much more accurate and hits the corners with a lot more pace than the serves on normal. I am still learning and adjusting the to the differences and hope to get to where i am only playing on hard. Normal is too easy against the computer but Hard still gives me trouble from time to time, especially in the Master 1000s and Grand Slams.
Hello, I purchased Top Spin 2k25 and all the addons say Usable with no option to install. Missing from this list is Rookie Rise Pack. How do I ensure these are all installed? i bought the grand slam edition.
Thank you for these tips. even tho i played 10 hours so far, i feel like i have still ALOT to learn. its deffinetly a game that is Easy to play, Hard to master. Im also curious to see what is gonna be the "meta" in terms of Attributes points placement, Skills, and Fittings.
The meta is max stats on Forehand, Backhand, Power, medium stats on stamina, reflexes and speed, barebones 30 stat on Serve and Volley. Was steamrolling everyone I versed on the World Tour (the my player one) till I just versed a guy with like 100 power forehand backhand, 70-80 speed stamina and reflexes, and 30 serve and volley. Dude was only slice serving wide corner every time too. 2K need to force every player to put a bit of stats into serve and volley, they’re available stats, shouldn’t be left to min stats
Lol i maxed out serve and literally wrecked everyone yesterday on these amazing serves that seem to bounce right off the inside of the out line. I dunno if its bugged or what but it literally seems to be impossible to return.
@@LiamApilado I hardly use it, it’s not needed either imo but it’s just there at times if you think you choose the wrong area to return the ball it’s on the other side I sometimes press it to quickly go back
I think the game is awful, why do the players feel so heavy footed? I think that meter fucking sucks, it's dumb to have to look at that meter while analyzing the court.

I agree to a degree. The perfect time to hit the ball is at waist height, but sometimes that's not good enough in the game. It's rare for sure.
You're right for sure on the serve. Once that ball meets the point where it falls is the right time to hit it. 100% perfection
@@vanshanahan4950It’s like reality not every ball you hit in real life is going to go exactly on the line for example
@@vanshanahan4950 And u can hear the sound of the ball hits the ground solidly..
@@vanshanahan4950 Body positioning also important when hitting the ball. Close to the ball will end up your ball landed on the net.

Earned yourself a new sub brother, great videos ❤
Analog serve is something not many do but it’s very effective can get crazy serve speeds and aces

I win almost every set 6-0 or 6-1 on normal but then I still struggle and lose some matches on Hard. It's for sure challenging!
Thanks for the tips! Gonna get the game today. What are your thoughts on the season pass?
Good video bro, I’m loving the game so far, recognised your voice from Fifa player reviews as well 🎉
My guy ❤️
Lol same! Right away recall this fella
trying to get my first win on 2k ranked i’m currently 0-8 i don’t understand this game 😂😂😂
Trust me I feel your pain I went 0-10 before I got my first win and when I did it felt wonderful when you win this game is awesome
@@dmavs20 pleased to say i am now 1-8, i went crazy when i won, i see exactly what you mean 😂😂😂
Amazing tips

With the reposition button do you just keep it pressed all the time or do it only when needed? Seems like something you'd want to use all the time.
I think it’s a split step
What does it even do cause im on lvl 30 and have no idea i press it but dont know what it does
Merci beaucoup from Aix-en-Provence (France). 👍
How can I play with two joy sticks ?
Is there voice chat online?
No
Anyone know what L1 does?
Reposition yourself back it helps when you are on the wrong foot and you need to go back to the ball quickly
@@kaskovic1993 so a split step?

Its the oh shit i overstepped my guess button
why aren't my shots going to the fucking baseline like i want it to go this game is so dogshit
Basically server far corner, winner to the other corner. return cross court sliced and time them all perfectly from there. Pretty easy no?
Every time i tap it , it says its power shot i cannot make my player do control shot
You have to wait until the strike bar starts to move before you tap it
what is inside out and follow shot to the net??
L1 inside out. R1 follow shot
This is gonna take a while for me!

It makes to sense to add timing, to create a skill gap.
You can also just turn the meter off, if you can get the timing right without it.
