Gustavo is not human I swear. He barely moved his feet and the board perfectly scooped. It's like he uses the potential energy in his movement to do it for him, like judo
The fact is it’s probably not even a mainstream skater that has the best Tre. the best tre flip ls most likely some 17 year old in Brazil with the best tre flip on flat with his bare feet no shoes
man i just found this channel and its like thinking basketball but for skating! if i somehow wrote a book in the near future, i would buy it man. this is some really great content.
@@dumbdata34 If I had to pick 80s footy… 1989 Rubbish Heap. 2nd shot/1st line/last trick, 360 flip into the grass. Sadly storied UA-cam channel didn’t recreate that. If you want something earlier… here’s the reason why it’s so hard to find anything (I struggled and gave up too). In 83, 360 flip is invented after 1 year of the kf. 2 years later, future primitive shows the double 360 flip. Mullen cites during interviews that he unveiled the evolutions in hopes for the trick to be properly recognized. He then stops showing off the trick sometime as audiences didn’t care. We don’t have exact dates when it stopped via video (maybe magazines)… But we know he could do the trick as he did triple kf in 85. Plus, some free styler skaters were struggling with kf. Even Tony hawk admitted to only re-attempting to learn the trick during birdhouse days. Here’s the funny thing. Jason Lee reinvents the 360 flip in 94. 2 years before, Mullen’s debut in unquestionable, lands his 2nd trick, a 360 flip… from the front view but low lighting. On the nine club podcast, Lee gives benefit of the doubt that Mullen must’ve done the trick but couldn’t recognize it as well. IMO, to relate to Dan Corrigan’s thoughts of Mullen being underrated, his 360 flip could be considered as the most standard/unstylized, the antithesis of how we view a skater’s steezy/greatness. I think you should make a video or maybe I’ll do it one day. Maybe about 360 to tre. Maybe even research the possible origins of the original 360 flip in freestyle or the best 360 flip to ____. Like 360 flip to primo, 1984. Hope you learned something. God Bless. John 3:16.
earliest clip i could find with (minimal) searching was right here: ua-cam.com/video/Ub-vApIAAus/v-deo.html there maybe clips from 1988-1989 if you search hard enough but that Rubbish Heap might be the only easily available clip edit: here's one from 1989: ua-cam.com/video/shLnh5welLI/v-deo.html
A big thing for me when it comes to voting is effort. Like pop, effort and catch were all things that I noticed I really cared about when it came to deciding between two people. Wade just looked like he could do that asleep, and still had some good height to it
Dude I feel like all the major skating channels take from your content or atleast from what your videos title concepts are Just saw something about the biggest 360 flip I don’t know if they actually take/get inspired by you or the latter but I just don’t see stuff about stats and stuff until this channel You’ve been like a pioneer of changing perspective and how to look at skating in my opinion
i really like Felipe gustavos steezy style, Jamie too, and Luan and giraud with the speed and power, and the same time, style too, and needless to say, Chris joslin, the final boss for treflips
I love that one in the trick tip video we all watched when we were younger. Made it look so easy and obtainable (Stefan Janoski 17 years ago) Edit: Ay it was featured I also really like Jamie Griffin and Ellis Frosts flat tre’s because of how unconventional they look
Okay, so it was just me. Nice to see you back, bro. And the correct answer will always be...Jason Lee. Sort of got mine back. The board I recently put together has a super steep tail, and it freaks me out. Have a hard time knowing if the tail's actually hitting the ground. Ghost popped a proper half-cab flip (finally!) but it was still a ghost pop. The struggle is real.
@dumbdata34 Everyone who's been skating consistently for 2 years can do them , tres are the typical trick skaters will attempt to impress someone who knows nothing about skating besides a kickflip Do something on flatground that's abit more refreshing like a popped fs 3 shuv
My favorite 360 flip is Omar Salazar in Mindfield. It's so quick, isn't landed exactly clean either. It just looks like he's having so much fucking fun landing it. Just my humble opinion
Come up with some new ideas, that are relevant to the times. Like how many noseslides and tailslide kickflip and heelflips out there in Baker 7. (Baker has a death wish part) and how many ride-on grinds there was too
Didn’t even mention Mike Mo!!??? Or Bryan Herman!!?? That one in Bake and Destroy in the middle of the ledge line to stair set is crazy not to mention and Mike Mo in BATB not mention is crazy
Thank you to everyone who voted in the IG polls!
Was this just the best 360flip in BATB or overall? I’d say Brian Anderson has the best.
No No Thank You 🔥🔥
At first it was BATB then it started to creep into any on flat in a part
Whatever
@@dumbdata34you have to check out josh kalis 360 flip in TWS the reason during stevies part
The analysis on my favorite trick is so intriguing, your contribution to skateboarding is appreciated. Jamie Griffin got the best 360 flips!!!
It was fun to assist

Indubitably good chap
Antwuan Dixons intro in Baker 3 is the best 360 flip on flat EVER done no questions ask I don't even want to hear it 🖕
he also has the best front 180 ever right before it and probably the best nollie ever later in that part.
Antwuan Dixon in Baker 3 opening line. This isn't even up for debate.
100% agreed
Thank you. No debate.
When I hear "best tre flip" I think this very clip
100% hands down, that what made me fall in love with 360 Flips, stupid butter it was damn near disrespectful to even witness😂😂😂
The only other one that can compare imo is PJ's 3 flip at the end of that last, to this day, fucked up line in WHL.
Antuwan obviously.
For me, the best 360 flip in a video was from Dixon in Baker 3, but in batb Ishod was crazy
Gustavo is not human I swear. He barely moved his feet and the board perfectly scooped. It's like he uses the potential energy in his movement to do it for him, like judo
Chris Joslin is the tre flip final boss
Not on flat tho
Shit looks like your name when does it. 😂 style matters
Rowley’s one after the 50 he did at Staples 💯
The fact is it’s probably not even a mainstream skater that has the best Tre.
the best tre flip ls most likely some 17 year old in Brazil with the best tre flip on flat with his bare feet no shoes
And that’s what keeps me suicidal…
im from brazil and I can confirm that
Well, Of Course I Know Him. He's Me
Honestly thats dumb in all comparison and also pretty fuggin rascist.
GREAT to see you back! 💯
A Day without a Tre is a lost Day ❤
Cant ever do too many 360 flips!
Love it - nice work! Plenty of tasty tres within 😍🙌🏾
I’m a firm believer in the Jason Lee tre, but man that Desarmo tre in the DGK video is glorious
we missed you and your amazing videos!
🌻So True, his intellect and work ethic is mind blowing and appreciated 🌺
catching a 3flip high has got to be the best feeling flip trick to catch
This isn’t even a competition. Wade desarmo in his kayo corps part.
Absolutely graceful
Antwuan Dixon baker 3 opening line… next
Felipe Gustavo as well
They gon sleep bro. And it was shot from behind and still looked good
man i just found this channel and its like thinking basketball but for skating! if i somehow wrote a book in the near future, i would buy it man. this is some really great content.
Bruh, had to only put Rodney’s 360 finger flips. Harder. Honestly his actual 360 flip (or tre-flip) is actually super clean imo
I couldn’t find any flatground tre flips from the 80s

When I saw the question , two names came in my mind Wade and Thiago .
✌🏾
Great work, and a result I can get behind. Did you add in your own 360 flip in here too?
Marc Johnson hands down he was a monster back in the day with enjoi and girl
wade in its official
Not including Jason Lee’s slippers tre is a crime against skateboarding
"Regularly blessed his environment" 😂
Very good and interesting, keep it up 🤘🏻
Love how Felipe is smoothly inserted at the very end haha

antwan baker 3 and wade desarmo 3flip tutorial
Pj and Ad tres are sick
Mike Mo id say is the most consistent at it
Kelly Hart won’t like this
unnecessary jab at joslins 3flip of el toro 😂
Tre flips are pretty sick
Ethan Fowler and Jamie Thomas have a mean 360 flip
What about fakie 360 flips? Two nominations from me: Kenny Reed in the Ipath promo and Gailea Momolu in "Get Tricks or Die Trying"!
the greatest tre flip ever done was in 1983 in some barn in Florida
I actually might have a top 3 flat ground tre. Where do I submit
I always loved the old Jason Lee and Kein Leu longer ones
Saw the video title and immediately saw Sewa in the first clip...man has the CLEANEST hardflip and tre in the game imo...bro is SMOOTH with it
The board flips perfect, but all around I’d say Herman beats it by a mile
It Is a beautiful trick 💯
I like Wade's from his opening line in Parental Advisory more than his one in It's Official. Probably my #1 pick.
I loved this video
I probably shouldn’t watch this while driving just I’m gonna check back in 15 min
Nyjah has the best tre flip. he just hops and it flips perfectly
Mr. Data ha s a pretty darn mean tre himself!
Daewon Song in vs1 video. Best ever, for sure.
My favorite 360 flip on flat is in a line by Josh Kalis in 411VM issue #30 Alien Workshop industry section.

Dumb data is alive, rejoice 🎉
I have skated with Wade in Toronto at the Loft 2.0 and he is hands down the best skater and best dood 👑
On a side note, Luan holds the record for most tres in a minute I believe. Just I thought I'd bring this up in a video about tres
lol 2 of the best on primitive
Andrew Reynolds flatground tre flip in Transworld Feedback
Pj ladd has my fav 360 flip mark appleyard also
People often forget about Levi Browns tre in elements Trio video. Quick, high and smooth.

Ya know.. A voting process for the community to decide who's in batb would be nice
Luan is such a bossss
Jeremy Wray could blast them on flat.
I never liked tres in the first place, it's a cooked trick especially on flat
said no one ever
@dumbdata34 Everyone who's been skating consistently for 2 years can do them , tres are the typical trick skaters will attempt to impress someone who knows nothing about skating besides a kickflip
Do something on flatground that's abit more refreshing like a popped fs 3 shuv
You need to check out some Bryan Herman tre flips.
Mr Herman's is the first one that plays in this video
PJ ladd as well and probably 1,000,000 skateboarders on the planet filmed or unfilmed.
The answer is Nick Trappaso's in his Suffer the Joy part at 1:40 (if you watch the classics video).
im smelling Tre Flips
Twuan baker 3 is burned into my brain but wades its offical is the greatest.. styll
Mike mo not mentioned at all is crazy to me 🤯
Everyone forgot that Andrew Brophy 3 flipped over a table lol
I didn't, best ever no doubt.
Pj ladd wonderful horrible life when he does that one then a fs flip right after
7:24 AG took it cause of that little front foot catch/ back foot flair
Carrolls 3 flip in his opening line in Modus. The whole line actually.
The best ever flatground 360 flip is josh kalis part in stevie williams the reason

It's Wes Cramer, you're welcome.
My favorite 360 flip is Omar Salazar in Mindfield. It's so quick, isn't landed exactly clean either. It just looks like he's having so much fucking fun landing it. Just my humble opinion

the less flip you see, the better the 360flip looks.
Agreed, for some reason I always like the angle where you see mostly just the griptape while the board is spinning
Whatever
Nate Jones in Reel to Real
Rodney Mullen 360 double flipped a freestyle board in 1988. Public Domain video part.
tiago lemos, that's it
also, any back foot dangling bs doesn't belong in this poll
Wade always had the best… I’ve known for years..
WE ARE SO BACK
Na mason silvas was crazy
Burberry erry has a great treflip
Ville Wester probably has the coolest tre flip I’ve seen
Please never take a 3 month break again 😭
PJ Ladd king of flatland treflips but Dan Zvereff and David Torgerson had beautiful ones
Wade 💯

let me settle this debate. I have the best tre flip. Period
Ysl analysis coming soon ?
Dawon can do them under water and Tom Penny can do them while rolling a joint
Tiagos a legend but if you redid that poll 3 or 5 or ten times wades gonna take it over and over... the barcy tre is the flat goat and its known.
