Um. OK this is fascinating. The amount of time and data going to making this is. It leaves me to wonder is there some underground betting that is able to go down on this thing I don’t know about?
But doing fundamental tricks is a double edge sword. You can expect that he will fail one of the shovit or bigspin accidently, but you can also fail doing those tricks in offense giving zero letters to him and giving the opportunity back to him.
And that’s why he said in the video, one of the three main points to beat Jamie, to know your fundamentals well. Luan went over 50 tricks in a row because he has his fundamentals absolutely locked down. But there’s risk with any trick, just up to the skater based on how consistent they are with their specific fundamentals. By fundamentals he means tricks the skater should be able to do like 19/20 tries
lol the thing is, you can forgo the 3rd tip to beat him, because if you can 'pull off' the first two then you literally cant lose a game against anyone... that third tip is pretty much saying you have to be able to beat anyone PLUS practice specifically to beat Griffin, which makes sense after the wins we've seen from him lol
@dumbdayda he ran some pretty basic tricks opening up his games last season. just because he specializes in shit people have never hucked does not necessarily mean his basics are lacking. Appreciate your work on all this data analysis, but unfortunately his sample of batb games is still pretty small to develop assessments on weaknesses with significant confidence imo.
I miss when finals night had legends of skateboarding like PJ, P-Rod, Mike Mo, Shane O’neill, Corey Kennedy, Luan, Sewa, or Joslin. These flat ground only skaters need to be stopped. Or else it’ll be Griffin or Tyler Peterson storming their way to the end every time
What’s wrong about that? The legends you talk about are still legends because they can do all of that shit even down huge gaps or in rough spots. That’s why people like them are winning in completions like street league and stuff. Griffin would absolutely be fucked there. But when he has a talent to throw down insane tricks at a flatground tournament people should also pay respect for that. It’s something different and that’s fine, cause skateboarding is freedom and don’t need any specific rules like other sports

Cool video how do you think pj ladd from 2012 2013 would have done against jamie?
LETS GO ZACH! got faith in my boy
Barton not being in the batb is a travesty
If he blanks everyone this year, he is the greatest on flat EVER!
He has to beat the final Boss of flat... Pj Ladd
Rodney Mullen still owns that title I think
Um. OK this is fascinating. The amount of time and data going to making this is. It leaves me to wonder is there some underground betting that is able to go down on this thing I don’t know about?
So pretty much throw paper in the rsb do every 360 variation then do nollie flip tricks and you’ll win
But doing fundamental tricks is a double edge sword. You can expect that he will fail one of the shovit or bigspin accidently, but you can also
fail doing those tricks in offense giving zero letters to him and giving the opportunity back to him.
The rps bit was funnnnnnny
jamie gonna throw scissors next round 🤣
That won’t work on Jamie any “easy” trick u throw he will land with his eyes closed and will only help him build confidence
How do you know
@dumbdayda he ran some pretty basic tricks opening up his games last season. just because he specializes in shit people have never hucked does not necessarily mean his basics are lacking. Appreciate your work on all this data analysis, but unfortunately his sample of batb games is still pretty small to develop assessments on weaknesses with significant confidence imo.
Griffins switch is his weakness, imo
Change those percent stats into damage then we got a guide how to beat a boss in video games ☠
Science is fun
Doelling is going to take home the trophy. He has the Giger blessing.
no 😅
Okay this is getting weird bro is looking so deep into every little detail 😭 like bro is really going over the rock paper scissors stats
Its amazing to see RoShamBo statistics 😆 that will work untill Jamie sees this and throws paper next battle
Well it is a flatground competition. Why would u not wanna see the best of the best compete? Dumb comment
& Nyjah too
@@AlwayzSkateboardingI agree with your point as well as the original comment. It’s tough. These guys literally have nothing but flat ground so it seems lame when compared to the guys who have a well rounded ability and can also skate flat. Idk. It’s weird. Maybe Jamie and Giger types should expand their horizons. But then again if focusing on flat is what they truly love, then who am I to criticize a person enjoying what they love
@@allstopblue5717 yeah exactly. I totally can see where they are coming from. But on the other hand we can see the difference with giger. He can do insane weird tricks - but he isn’t consistent enough to do them in a tournament. But Griffin has them on lock and that’s really impressive. It’s not like we have a pandemic with young „tik tok skaters“ like someone said. Because most of them need too many tries to land those tricks or can’t do the normal ones that good
Do any ”pro basic” nollie and switch flip/heel variations. Guy can just muska flip.
Havnt even watched yet. But i know how to beat him.
Do 360 ollies, backside , frontside and s backside and frontside and call before hand tht we need atleast a 260ish land.
Not a 180 to pivot 180.
It needs to atleast look like N actually 360
yeah cuz Jamie don't pop his 360s enough.
everyone has to pop their 360s as high as luan 😅or it don't count lmfaoooooo
@@eatassonthefirstdate i just dont want to see a DRADDLE and it be called a 360 ollie.
This isnt late 70s stacey peralta. 360 kick turns.
@@vperkv6554no doubt lol but Cariuma riders get ENOURMOUS margin of error and get credit for not popping tricks all the time.
case n point Torey's, I mean berras judging calls last year in the finals.
Hope that they actually enforce real 360s
if it's Jamie or a Cariuma team rider they won't.
I didn't watch the Jamie vs Sewa match and I'm not gonna bother.... I'm done watching any more matches unless joslin or Cole ends up in the finals.
and everyone has to pop their 360s as high as luan or it's a missed trick😅
dude that MF can pop a 540 Ollie? he might, MIGHT pivot the last 90 degrees, but who gives a shit really, That's still impressive as F__K
I just want to know why do you think TJ will lose the first match?
I could be wrong but the John dude seems hungrier
@@dumbdata34 or will get really nervous since this is his first time against a pro. TJ will win
I use the same strategy as Jamie, most people throw rock on first go, so I go paper
Damn I was just saying this about the ro sham Bo
What i find strange is curren says he asked koston for another shot to be in batb but in the deathblow they admit his flat grounds not the best and then the same with leo amd brayden they say brayden never wins were these guys just put in to make a easy match for peeps to progress easier when other matches could have been way better matched find it strange
Zach doelling better take notes
Skunks shouldn’t happen. If a skater blanks another skater just because they had the rock paper scissors win, they should have the other player now go and try to do the same thing back to the other player, if they even fail once on offense however the game is over
Thanks to you Jamie now has an advantage more... scissoring bro 😉
Sewa is a monster, that was wild!@
