Now there's like steam, (but I don't often use it because my computer is crap and I've lost a lot of interest in games in general). But hell, still better than that XBLA store. That went to shit. Navigating a digital games store with a console in general is shit.

Nintendo is one fun-loving company if they actually chose to switch the horizontal orientation of the confirmation button, for the purpose of trolling their consumer, even despite the potential loss in sales or credit transfers.
Actually, I think it was a purposeful design choice so that you could make sure you put everything in right. Same thing with the Gaebora Kaebora tutorial trap. It's there so that you don't just mash A and get it over with without learning anything.

I can't help but lose it at 1:48.
In reality though, my Wii was just a dust collector until I softmodded it a year ago. I'd totally recommend it. It can be done in like a night and you can rip all of your games to some sort of USB storage device and never have to use your discs again. Not to mention the emulators for the games that aren't on the virtual console.
