@Alfonso Baker Thanks for your reply. I got to the site through google and Im in the hacking process atm. I see it takes a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
My last concert before Covid was The Who at Fenway Park on September 13, 2019. Would never have imagined that night that in a few months a pandemic would strike the planet and no fans would attend any events at Fenway Park in the spring, summer, or fall of 2020.
I saw t"the Kinks" so many years ago I forget. Just at the end of the concert at the Civic theater in San Jose , California,. they came out and told every one to hold onto their stub. It's good for Free admission to Bob Seger at his next show there. I Still got the stub.
You’re a genius ScribeCash. Three years ago you say this song needs to be in a movie. Then, last year it’s used in the ending of No Hard Feelings. And it was fitting. Loved this nostalgic song since the 1970’s. And you’re a genius:)
Sea-grr or Cee-grr You’ll Accompany Me is one of his most romantic. Come to Poppa, Ramblin Gamblin Man, Lucifer, Fire Down Below are more straight forward bangers.
You have a keen ear for melody, and I heard you tap. An appreciation for arraignment. HA! From west Texas. A great song in my day. The force of music will be felt. I think you are a wonderful, beautiful soul. He hit that note. I thought I was alone feeling this track, when it came out was stellar. I was with my friend who said it sounds like he's talking about the past.
I was born at a magnificent time in music... the 50s, and I was able to listen to the Motown of the 60s, comon now what can I say Diana Ross and the Supremes, Marvin Gaye, Smokey Robinson, and oh oh the man, my fave, Al Green, and the rise of something from Bubble gum pop like I wanta be Bobby's girl to Bob F***ing Seger, who sings my life, on down thru. But the thing about Bob... you can hear it if ya listen, he was a big fan of Motown, he brought a piano, organ, and so and background singers and brought on Alto Reed, not just one of the best Sax players but one that can make it speak so well, anyway, but Bob was brought up in the heart of Motown and was about 10 years older than me, so he was there when the Platters talked about smoke getting in your eyes etc. So Motown is in Bob's bones, like country is mine, since it was the first music I was aware of. Bob is a stone cold Rock and Roller in the 70s but again Motown had a river that ran thru Bob's soul, and I hear it in every song. Music Bigots really piss me off. The only two music genre's I just can't do is well Opera, sorry Italy, but I want to put one of the Texas Longhorn Bulls on stage with that lady with the horns that sings like wounded cows and sorry to those who love jazz, it's not all, I can did some BB King but otherwise the make me want to drink not only more but a helluva lot more. So glad you love the Bob, if ya haven't then you should check out the Eagles,
Hit that note, Bob? Even back in the day, his voice could nail the notes he needed....and still sound like a five-pack a day for 20 years guy. Check out Trying To Live My Life Without You for something rocking by Seger

He’s to my recollection done 2 movie tracks 1# which is widely known is for Beverly Hills cop 2 it’s is “ shakedown “ #2 which is very obscure but still a very interesting track for the movie, About last night, it’s titled “ living inside my heart” they’re both real good !
I've read a lot of the the suggestions here's mine start with the album "Live Bullet" and just keep going to next one until his last one you won't hear a bad song. One of if not the best storyteller in rock history.
Bob Seger is from the Detroit area, and he took on a kind of Mowtown style of recording and performing his songs, with black women doing the background vocals.
Before moving back home after college, I serenaded a woman I'd been seeing to this great song. Unfortunately, it wasn't written down or meant to be. I can't blame Bob for getting my hopes only to be stymied especially now since I've met someone who doesn't see me as someone ordinary.
One of history’s greatest guitarists is in poor health, and things look grim...out of respect for the great Leslie West, I encourage you to listen to either Never In My Life (for an up tempo jam), or Theme from an Imaginary Western (for a slower, more poignant song ). Theme was originally written by Bruce for Cream, but Clapton rejected it and it was subsequently given to Mountain, and of course, Leslie made a masterpiece of it.
This is a disturbing song, way creepier than even Every Breath You Take...if in a movie, it would be a horror film. The lyrics are the DIARY of a STALKER, said TO her AFTER he finally finds her. She's trying to end a date(?) with him, but he's obsessed. (And still you're tellin' me you have to go/Before you leave, there's something you should know) He TELLS her he's obsessed. (I've made my mind up that it's meant to be) He's following her while she jogs. (I've seen your long hair flyin' when you run) He is convinced that she thinks he's "beneath" her. (You're high above me now, you're wild and free) Breaking up with her sent him into a tailspin. (The ashes smolder, but the warmth's soon gone/You end up cold, and lonely on your own) He will "get" her, or...likely kill her. (I'll take my chances, babe I'll risk it all/I'll win your love or I'll take the fall) Yikes.
Another legend is Boz Skaggs. Check out the live video of Loan Me a Dime form about 1985 ua-cam.com/video/-RTh5t8yEqI/v-deo.html It's better than the original duet with Duane Allman. It's about 15 minutes long and totally awesome. This is classic rock/blues. Amazing.
Bob Seger is an amazing artist. This song, we have known about for 40+ years. And now with her subscribers and advertising she is looking to make a buck. Who is being used?
I get what your doing here.. However for me To see you react ,after a song is played uninterrupted ,seeing your expression and all the rest would be a more ? what is the word? Real ,thing etc ,,Esp if it really is your first time ..... interrupting a song or music breaks the mood and just impossible to do over or begin agin... You words and impressions would be more legit after the music lyric and perhaps then a replay with he pauses ,interruptions and commentaries.. over all tho I value the content mostly Thanks😊 10.8.2022
