Bob Seger's music and poetry is off the charts! The man sang from his heart and connected with most Americans who had the good fortune to hear his songs. This particular song has what I feel are some very sweet backing vocals!! Absolute masterpiece of a song!
I watched my wife for 6 months and then finally got her to go on a date. After an hour I told her - you are going to marry me - 26 years later we are still going strong.
Congratulations on your wonderful relationship 💕 Unfortunately, my daughter's father and I split after 20 years which was hard on my daughter. My daughter has been married for over 20 years with 2 fantastic kids...she learned how important a marriage vow is and that love, laughter and great music with a spouse has so many rewards. Love and great music has great power. You are blessed with both.
Bob Seger has a voice that never gets old! There is not a 'bad' Bob Seger song but I do have my favorites. "Old Time Rock and Roll' and "Still The Same".
I’ve been looking forward to this reaction for a long time. It has so much of what you love - heartfelt warmth, a real message, that church organ, cowbell, background singers harmonizing their souls out. And you did not disappoint. Thank you Brother Jamel.

Bob Seger seems to create the perfect song - the realism in the lyrics, the backup singers, all the instruments - drums (off the chain), guitars, piano (love the piano in his songs, it gives ithe songs so much character each time), and the keyboards as well. I'm a Soprano, but as i've gotten older (56 years old), there are times when my voice does not want to go so high anymore.
