You have to use your built - in motherboard graphics. If you dont have them, and you having that problem, it means that tgere is some problems with yout GPU, PSU, and etc.
@Will Dison put your hdmi/displayport/vga into the spot of where the INTEGRATED Graphics are. once you do that, install amd drivers, ALL OF THEM. shut down pc. now put your hdmi/displayport/vga back into the gpu. then open the pc back up and hopefully it works.
Thank you this worked for me! Guys disable the adapter for the GPU like he did in the video then turn your Pc off. Install your GPU but instead of your monitor cord (HDMI/VGA ect) contention to your mother board, try connecting it directly to you GPU. Well that worked for me ;)

This did not work for me…. What worked for me: 1. Boot pc without Gpu (motherboard or integrated graphics) 2. Open BIOS (press the small delete button - not backspace- repeatedly) 3. Go to advanced settings 4. Click Integrated Graphics Configuration 5. Change PED to IGD 6. Close and save changes 7. Turn off pc 8. Plug in new gpu 9. Boot as normal
Always check cables first. My monitors hdmi port was dead, tried 2 cables but none would work. VGA-to-hdmi was fine. So it's worth having more than 1 type as a backup. With graphics cards, sometimes it's a clear cmos thing, other times you have to enable in bios manually, and sometimes it's a power off, disconnect cord, hold power button for 1 minute and then power up again.

I think one of my HDMI port is messed up..we could have the same issue or completley different.
-Try updating the Bios -Try making sure that the card itself is working, as packages can be dropped and thrown around - (This is stupid but) Make sure you have working cables and that they are in properly, this is very important if you use DVI -Worst comes to worst, you can always just disconnect the power supply from the wall, disconnect the motherboard battery, and take out the GPU. After 15 min or so plug the power supply back into the wall, reconnect the battery, and plug in your graphics card fully These were a list of things that I have done when troubleshooting my own computer as well as others. The last one is what worked for me

I updated it through some program, since I was getting some error when I tried to update it through bios, about old version or something like that. I can give you youtube tutorial video when I get home, since that helped me and everything is explained there.
@@ivanuremovic1199 oof nvm I have an Intel motherboard. Looks like there is no way to update the bios as no bios update is in intel's download center. :(
@@deko00 Oh, that's bad to hear. I just went to Gigabyte site and I downloaded small file (size of few mb's), applied that, and it worked for me.
5 years later and it’s still working thanks man
I have a problem. My old gpu broke so i can't see anything on screen.
then you have to take the broken one out and get a new one
Buying a new GPU is what 98% of people would do, so his advice is acceptable and it should actually fix the problem.
I dont see your repair solution yet? why u shittin on him without offering a alternative? You claim to have computer knowledge but wont share it- what a great way to come off like the biggest dick.
Konrad id look into re thermal pasting your GPU, it isnt too hard to do- costs like 3$ and you have nothing to lose (besides 3 dollars) since the card is not working for u atm anyways. usually u just take off 4x little screws ,take off the old crusty paste with alcohol and put some new paste on.
Ya, if its not under warranty, just replace the thermal paste, also try mild heating of the gpu
errr get a new one then or run on integrated graphics
Bro! My younger brother bought a 2nd hand GPU, installed it and won't show display. We were about to flame seller of 2nd hand GPU.
This guide saved a life. Thanks dude.
I have the same intel 530 but it dont work for me too :/
Thank. You. So. Much. Thought I had a black-screen-o'-death until your instruction pointed me the right direction. Now I have a fully functional new GPU AND a newly updated BIOS.
Same problem here. Everything powers up even the new gpu but still no signal on monitor.
bro i hardly ever comment on videos, but i just wanted to say that you are so helpful. thank you so much
Thanks a ton...you saved my life...was installing new GPU and keep on facing no display for hours and doing R&D
Ok please help me out on this one.
I installed a new graphics card. Now it wont even start up. But if i put back in my old graphics card it starts up again. Any1 knows what is the problem?
Did u ever find a solution. If you did pls tell me how?
Your psu might be too small try a higher wattage psu
Sport-A-Flop I had to RMA, not a psu problem, either you have to upgrade your motherboard or you have to send the card back
Me too
i need help i install gtx 730 won turn on
Yo this is still helping me 5 years later thanks so much
What to do when after installing new Rtx gpu, my Ethernet connection Can only handle 1 MB/sec. And it is NOT my wifi it is wrong with.

When I plug in the hmdi cord into the mobo hmdi port, i get no signal. Any help?
jsh hey did you figure it out?
2 years later and youre still a fuckin god, thanks F A M
worked for me 100%, thanks dude! appreciate the time you took to help others on this issue.
Thanks a million man!!!! Although this video is old It helped me get a gtx 970 working. I uninstalled the previous drivers with DDU utility with no success. But after changing the internal graphics in my bios from auto to disabled I can now boot with the card and install the drivers! Thanks again
Didn't work for me.
did u solved now?.. Plz reply and tell me the solutions
nabam hina papu one day It decided to work randomly. I have no clue.. I did clean my cpu fan though.. Could of been a cooling issue
i have assembled brand new PC . I dont think there will be any dust issue on my PC. Thanks fo reply any way
ErikasGamingLto Games & more! Same not working
ErikasGamingLto Games & more! I have the same problem with the Rx 480 did you find a solution?
I followed the steps you recommended and it worked just fine. Thanks.
Hello i just fixed the problem thanks for the help it was really frustrating to the point that i thought the gpu was dead .
any way what i did was i used Display Driver Uninstaller on safe mode to remove intel 530 drivers
then i shut down my computer , installed the gpu and plugged the dvi on the motherboard i then went to the bios (my mobo is b150m bazooka plus) and went to pci subsystem settings ==> pego - max link speed i switched from auto to gen 1(im still not sure if this step was important) well i saved and restarted
after the reboot i plugged the dvi on the gpu and it worked i downloaded then the drivers anyways thank you
note that if u reboot the computer at the end and the screen is still not responding u just need to plug the dvi back
I dont have intel 530 drivers.. Everything powers up expect no signal on monitor.
@@sukmikehok1384 did u use displayd river uninstaller ?
@@seif8480 No I didn't. You think that will work?
@@sukmikehok1384 it might do the work because i had the same issue even tho i remove the drivers from the device manager it doesn't work so just try it download ddu and go safe mode use it also go to ur bios and check if you have an option to choose between gpu's
Thankyou bro. This worked!!!!! I've been searching the net for two days trying everything. You saved me alot of money.
Noticeably B.I.G I have a 1060, it didnt work for me after motherboard chage
My screen is black how am I supposed to do this
Can you get to safe mode?
Get into safe mode
Also, plug in your display cable (VGA, DP, HDMI, DVI ) into mother boards ports for display.
I just log in after three years so i can thank u a million times. You really help me a lot... youll never know how much i use the erasure method on my ram and videocard so that the display will show.
I also want to impart that if ur using a videocard with vga cable, it will display. It will add to the confusion lol.
Apparently, if u use a vga cable it will show (i nhave tried it with my damaged artifacted gtx560) the display.
So, if ur using a hdmi or dvi cable, this is the best solution for you.
Again, thank u very much for this video!!! And as a Demoman in Team Fortress 2 would say it... "If i was the man that i was, i would kiss you!! 😄😄😄
This video just help me with my new build! Definitely sharing to my friends! This did the trick!

I got a GTX 1080 like a week ago, ever since then! My screen goes black when i play games, but i can hear the audio but i couldn't get the screen back on!
Try upgrading the Power Spply.
I had this problem in the past and all what happen is that when the GPU render a game it needs more power then idle( logic) and when it is stressed the psu just fall. So please tell me if it was hopefull.
Good Luck:))
i just bought 1060 and this also happened to me
i already have enough power to run 1060 but it still gave me blank screen
I think i found a solution, i basically put my lead into another HDMI port on the monitor, and now i have been playing games for like 3 days now without getting a black screen, because i remembered taking out my lead and put it into another HDMI port when i first got my graphics card! I think one of my HDMI port is messed up..we could have the same issue or completley different.
n,lfjjcy;jvj
Could you explain this " basically put my lead into another HDMI port on the monitor"?
Worked perfectly for me. Thanks!! Was really worried for a bit there
I was having a similar problem with an rx 480. this didn't work but then i found out i did something stupid to the bios, so, it's working now :)
wwemario12345 what did you do to the Bios? I just bought a 480 yesterday and it wasn't working when I tried installing it
CerealBro1 I changed the initial display output from igfx to pcie
-Try updating the Bios
-Try making sure that the card itself is working, as packages can be dropped and thrown around
- (This is stupid but) Make sure you have working cables and that they are in properly, this is very important if you use DVI
-Worst comes to worst, you can always just disconnect the power supply from the wall, disconnect the motherboard battery, and take out the GPU. After 15 min or so plug the power supply back into the wall, reconnect the battery, and plug in your graphics card fully
These were a list of things that I have done when troubleshooting my own computer as well as others. The last one is what worked for me
i just bought an rx 480 and its giving me no signal, i don't have integrated graphics so do i need to buy another card to install it?
wwemario12345 where do you change igf to pcie
Bro you are incredible i’ve been searching for so long but when i watch your video you really helped me thankyou bro

Aldrin D'souza I'm really afraid too. This is my first build and I bought the gpu like 3 months ago to build it now and I don't know what the return policy is.
+Aldrin DD'souza my mobo is okay (Asus z17-a) and it works just fine. I'm concerned of the graphics card
Aldrin D'souza I can't because I have to have the card installed for them to work (I downloaded the drivers and since my card wasn't knstalled it didn't recognize the hardware) and when my card is installed, I get a black screen.
DId u solved the problem? Please reply .. I hv same issue
nabam hina papu yes I did, I think that I updated my display adapter in the device manager and after that it would recognize my gpu. but that wasn't the end, cause it had like a Hazzard sign at the side of it (at the side of the name of the gpu) so I updated that and I was done. I forgot to mention that in the bios I set the display output to the igpu, I placed the card inside the pc, and after it was running off the igpu with the gpu in, I did what I mentioned before. sorry for the bad English
Thanks a Lot Man.. Worked on RTX 3060 also in 2022. Love from INDIA😘😘
Had this problem with both of my monitors except for 1, just update the drivers and it should fix. Worked for me! If anyone has questions let me know.

Hello guys, so i wasted like 5 hours, tried everything with bios/drivers,rebooted my pc 10000 times, and now i think that i finnaly found the solution... =) i tried to turn on my PC with GPU connected to power supply with only 1 6pin connector, but i figured out that i need 8 pin + 6 pin connectors both to my GPU to work or atleast 8pin. gpu is rx580 btw, hope i helped some1 cuz that was my solution and i guess it will be for many of you
confirmed
Thank you! It worked for me with:
MSI B450I Gaming Plus AC (motherboard)
ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER MINI
What if i dont have integrated gpu?
Then disable whatever gpu that runs ur computer currently
Haha 4 years later this trick still does the job, thank you
If this didn't work for anyone the way I fixed mine was going through the same steps he did but instead of disabling the on board graphics card I just deleted it. After that I restarted the computer with my new gpu in it and it worked
I disabled my on-board gpu as I had same problem. Now my pc doesn't even boot up... but apparently resetting the bios can help with the on-board gpu if disabled. So hopefully I can figure out wat to do. If any one has solutions plz comment them!!!!
