I used to live in Nashville and work in downtown. One, do NOT dress up as a cowboy or cowgirl, boots or otherwise. Nashville has more to offer you than country music AND what you get in the bars along Broadway and also on 2nd st is watered down cover versions of the same 10 songs played over and over. Grab a Nashville scene or check them out online. Best bet, pick your genre, go to editor's picks and you'll be happy!
Grab a bushwhacker at the brewhouse. Midtown is a great spot as well.
Broadway rocks all week. Weekend is super rocks. Love Music city!!!!
The Jack Daniels Distillery is in Lynchburg, which is a good distance from Nashville.

PEG LEG PORKER is our go to for some good BBQ, every time we visit nashville.
You missed the Five Spot, Douglas Corner, Rudy's and Santa's. You just hit the tourist traps, although Robert's does have church and a beer on Sunday mornings.

I live in Christan county I go to Nashville about every 2 years I last went in 2016 I may go there this year but the most iconic thing to me is the at&t building or as I call it the Batman tower but the only downside to Nashville is the river floods sometimes

I’ve lived in Nashville for 40 years and 99.9 of the folks I know don’t dress like that nor do they go to the tourist traps ..if you want good food the locals eat jacks bbq. Or Wendell Smith’s and dairy king ..lookem up there the best

3. Get a hotel room around Opry Mill's and take the Showboat to Nashville (thank me later lol)
3. If you come in the summer the humidity is bad here.

6. At night in downtown Nashville stay away from the Cumberland river. That's where the homeless people sleep and it can be dangerous.

Everything in this video is very fun, but also very touristy... In downtown they exaggerate our culture for the tourists. If you wanna see some places that locals go in Nashville to have some fun, go to the gulch 12 south... Stop by Amelia's flower truck, eat at L.A. Jackson rooftop, then go have a photoshop at some of the murals. We don't usually go boot shopping and square dancing... 😂
Also 12 south is perfect for bloggers and Instagram lovers!!

Okay....I moved from Miami to Nashville and thought that people from Nashville dressed in cowboy booths & hat's and boy was I...WRONG!!! such a bad perception!!! They actually got a great dress game here! Love Nashville only go home to Miami to visit family!

Coming to Nashville this weekend. Good video. Very informative but could really do without the comedy act. And thanks to the rest of you folks with the feedback about it being too touristy. I will check some of it out but at least now I know what to avoid. Now I live in the farm & country section of north west NJ. (Sussex County)
We have farms, horses, cows etc. & I own boots & you’re telling me if I wear them I’ll look like a tourist & get my balls busted?? Haha. I don't live in Nashville but am about 30 minutes away and that is the BIGGEST misconception ever. Broadway is really the only place you can get away with dressing like that and if you are caught anywhere else locals know you aren't from Nashville maybe Tennessee even.
