I have a bucket list food item in Nashville and I haven't gone yet. It's Five Daughters' Bakery. I don't know how far it would be from your downtown area, might have to Uber to it. Anyway, they have a 100 layer doughnut filled with vanilla cream. I saw it on "The Best Thing I Ever Ate" on Food Network and I have to have it.

Good question! We did consider it and even asked the bartender to describe them. They are pickles soaked in Kool Aid…and we passed on them 🤣

You guys stayed in the Broadway district . What hotel did you stay at ? How did you get from the airport Uber ?
Uber from the airport, stayed at the Omni Hotel since I was there for a work conference. Great location, little pricey
Why the Parthenon recreation? Nashville was also considered the Athens of the South because of at the universities, etc. so the Parthenon was the center place of Tennessee's 100th Birthday celebration in Centennial Park.

If you’re into whiskey both Jack Daniels and Uncle Nearest distilleries are about 1.5 hours south of Nashville🙂🥃

Have you heard of 303 in the cut? It’s a late night food truck in Las Vegas that people are raving about. It looks awesome. You should totally check out the next time you are there. This will sound cheeky but I’m secretly hope you do before we next visit Vegas so you can give us the low down 😂.

Not sure why Nashville has a replica of the Parthenon? It was built during the centinenal of Nashville. Nashville has many different universities so it is called the "Athens of the south" that is why the Parthenon was built.
