At the age of 72 sold my Bates and got a Schott 118. Doctor says I should expect to live another 20 years; so it might be starting to be broken in when they bury me in it...

I was just thinking this! I came here to learn more about the history after visiting a store. Such a fantastic product, each jacket tastefully designed & crafted. Each item feels special.
But it just goes to show, you don’t even need the marketing, the product speaks for itself. People recommend it, it lives on for decades. It is just so good. 100% authentic. Really a beautiful thing.

I have owned many Schotts. my current is an 80s Dur-O-Jac, which I love. yes, even their "economy line" was better than the competition.
Like schott, thank you for delivering the coolest riders jacket to Japan. Recently, Guitar Wolf who loves Japanese band schott switched to UK 's Lewis Leathers. It is a traitor who made a guitar wolf bespoke item. Please beat the "Lewis Leathers company" in tune.

Hello i just ordered a schott b3 sheepskin bomber jacket from a norwegian site zalando. I hope its real. How do i take best care of it? Occasional clean with saddle soap and then very light coat of mink oil or natural wax i have a blend of beeswax and mink oil. Will that be good for the jacket? I will wear it about 5-6 months a year in cold norwegian conditions. I cant find a professional leather cleaner or similar like shoe maker or leather anything here at all so i need to do it myself and want the best for my jacket.

I think this is wonderful being in the United States and looking on the Internet and seeing Amazon junk and this junk now this is a real heritage. I can’t wait to order my shot leather pea coat it’ll probably be wonderful and it’ll probably take me to the end of my life, bravo wonderful people wonderful company keep going don’t ever sell out.

i have so many leather jacket ,schottt is very good quality ,even comparing my dolce gabbana matchless and belstaff, the quality is almost similar just lacking some perfect details but almost perfect you know thoses top brand leather jacket you need to pay 3 to 10 times more to get almost same stuff, already got a 1259 black,and i am very very pleased, i think i will get another one with brown color.
I own a 613 and a 603 - they are the most beautiful pieces of clothing I own. True quality and cratmanship, and they smell GREAT!

Being Afro American USA has its pros and cons, positives and negatives but anybody will admit there was a time when the USA had a stronghold on the best products being put on the market. From automobiles, clothing (Schott coats for example) etc. I had a brought a pair of Ray-Ban Wayfarer 54mm a few years ago. That pair was made in Italy by Luxottica. I had no idea that Bausch&Lomb created the original Ray-Bans so I hunted down a pair of Bausch&Lomb Ray-Ban Wayfarers 54mm and got them and I was blown away by how much better looking the frames were and way better quality. I mean you recognize the difference as soon as you put it on. Now I own two Vintage Schott leather Bombers all black from the 80s and I love those two coats.
Explain yourself! You do not get to throw out something like "Being Afro American USA has its pros and cons, positives and negatives..." unless you feel like you need to say that to get a free punch on your woke card. Obviously you are thinking of some race issue given your mention of "Afro American." Tell us what is negative--AT ALL--about the USA. Compare this country to any other. Try living elsewhere and see if the most negative of the USA even rises above the noise when/if you are able to get back home. Think race is an issue. Live in Cameroon, Uganda, Sudan or ANY other all black governed and socialized nation and come back here saying anything or even finding a problem. You will learn that the media creates fake race problems and issues that do not exist here. The last thing America needs are people apologizing or feeling like they have to qualify their remarks just to make a comment about a clothing store because they are non-white! The United States is the greatest and most tolerant nation on earth in every way possible and I challenge any thinking man to come up with a reason otherwise. You sir are an American! Nothing more and nothing less than the best.
