  • Greetings! This video is a trip report of my business class flight with ANA from Tokyo Narita Airport to Ho Chi Minh City Tan Son Nhat International Airport in spring 2022. I was transiting at the Narita Airport from a previous flight from US. This has been a smooth flight where the lie-flat seat provides for opportunity of good rest and in-flight dining is of high quality. Hope you will enjoy the video.

How was immigration, baggage area and crowds at SGN? Taxis easily available out front? Any information about SGN would be helpful for my upcoming trip. Thanks.

This flight arrived ~11pm and there seemed to be another flight arriving a bit later. Immigration took me 40 min as I need to get on-arrival visa first and then get into the queue to get out. I consider this time as normal for SGN. Re transportation, my advice is not to take meter taxi as they would most likely scam you. Get Grab on your phone which you can link it with a credit card or pay cash.

NRT doesn't allow overnight layover I guess. You either have to enter Japan or be watched by airport security while you sleep at least from some previous reports I have read. HND allows overnight layover though.
