Congratulation for your works Jon it's astonishing. I really love the mat finish of your paint style. Can we hope to have someday some detailed tutorial about how you paint things, like on an entire figure, let say a crusader for exemple?
Fantastic work! These look like about the best looking 28mm plastic sculps l’ve seen to date. Hope somebody on ebay will sale a sprue of them because a 60 fig box is about 50-55 figs more than l will ever paint.
Hi mate. Perhaps I will have to do a tutorial for black and white soon. I used a mixture of Vallejo and scale 75 for the putees. I also used several different vallejo greys and a glaze for the black. Really glad you like it. Many thanks. 😊👍
Hi Matt. To be honest I don't usually prime my figures. I usually just heavily varnish them at the end. This is because most of my stuff is for display and not gaming. If the miniatures are going to be used for gaming, then you'll probably want to prime and varnish them. The paint sticks just fine without the primer. Also the primer adds another layer of paint that can sometimes swallow the detail of the figures. 🙂👍
Thanks for the reply mate. I also like your leather tutorial I’m gonna give it a go on some Gauls I just got. The drying time is a little quicker here in Australia but looking forward to the results. Keep posting mate. Matt
Hi James. For the scale it's just any light silver and its exactly the same wash as the chainmail video. You can make the whole thing lighter or darker by the amount of washes you apply. Hope this helps. 😊👍

Thanks Brian. Which bit?
Just in general really. I'm looking to get back into painting figures again so any paint range recommendations would be appreciated, thanks.

Hi mate your work is fantastic! I was just wondering in your videos you don’t seem to prime your miniatures. Is this correct. Thank you.
Matt

@@mattfrazer1294 thanks Matt. Let me know how you get on with the leather. 🙂👍
May I ask what color silver you use on your scale mail? Also, do you use the same wash colors as your chainmail shading? Thanks

Thanks Jon. Went ahead and ordered a set of normans and transfers. Looking forward to trying to emulate your work.
