That gator gar footage was VERY fun to watch (actually watched it twice). Great content! The unexpected catch, pull from the bank, and snag were super engaging. In some ways, more exciting than a straightforward catch of a large kitty.

I wouldnt worry about not being able to show off the fish... I wouldve done the same thing you did. Just getting to see that monster take you on a ride was good enough for me! I don't know what exactly it is about this video, but I loved it! Possibly the fact that you were somewhere new on some skinny water in the backwoods of who knows where with monsters lurking just gave this video the feel I am always lookin for! Great video, loved every minute!

Take you a heavy duty catfish stringer, loop one in through it. Lasso the gars mouth hold on to that while you drag him in by the tail and the rope or stringer. His armor can cut you just as bad as his teeth If you handle them out of the water, keep them on the ground, in the water. Just be safe. You're at the mercy of his mouth. Love watching your videos man. You're not the reason why I wanted to start kayak fishing, but you're the only one I could find that does it the way I want to. So your videos are really inspirational and a big help. I've always catfished from the bank in areas like that and always had to walk a country mile, river monsters is the one that got me searching for big shovel head and creeks and small rivers. I never like kayak, fishing the way the others do it. Lakes and oceans. I've always been a catfish guy and I've always wanted to combine my canoeing with my catfishing and since I got a kayak I wanted to combine the two. You're the only person I could find it does that? So you've really show me a lot of pointers that I need and I appreciate everything you've shown and I'm happy everything is going as good as it has for you. I remember you when you just had 36 followers lol. Could be wrong about the number but it was very many lol. Think it was about 2 years before you got your boat lmao
