"And the peel is medium sized" Peel: is about 3x bigger than the player Subnautica has broken us to the point things the size of elaphants arent that big
The glow crab When near other creatures it makes them glow. They can make you glow, attracting creatures, and you can take them, and make them choose what to glow.
I'd call them glow shrimp. They are edible but aggressive and venomous. To catch them you'd have to immobilize them and quickly get them to the fabricator (unless you have the thermoblade) because I'd give them the ability to jump out of your inventory. The risk is worth the reward though because they'd be extremely filling and that sac on their backs would serve as a source of water
I think it would be cooler if there was no sound cue whatsoever. Like you're just going along looking for limestone outcrops or something, puttering around with your seaglide, doing your own thing, and then you realize that it's quiet. It slowly dawns on you that there is absolute dead silence all around you and you have no idea how long it's been quiet or whether it's just a natural lull in the game noise or... not.
I love the concept of the silence because imagine swimming in dark water and then realizing that your game audio is gone only for you to be killed out of nowhere
apparently it is actually possible to cancel out sound with an inverted sound wave. (also all the creatures in subnautica are sentient because sentient means able to perceive. the native is sapient)
lmao. The silence was a good one. Especially since the game is full of noise, if not creature audio, then music. Just imagine you get close to the Silence and the music cuts out
Well it kinda looks like an ant too so im gonna call it Antster. Or because of it having bunch of legs, Centicap (Centipede & Mushroom Cap). Lobsnid or Lobsnith? Like arachnid but its a lobster.
The light up lobster creature you mentioned could be a creature in the abyss that is attracted to the flares and if you feed it the creature becomes a friendly little creature that sits on your helmet and works like a flash light but points in the direction you look as well as being friendly there could be a mechanic for it where it flashes when an enemy is close and also when it’s hungry were you take chip damage of 1/2 or 1hp every 10 seconds or so and a name for it could be glow and crustacean combine like a Glostacean
I have a concept I call a “Demon” leviathan. It would be blood red with bull like horns. It would dwell in the lava zone and help the Dragon Leviathan. It would have 8 eyes and it’s mouth would look normal before it opens like a Demogorgon it’s special would be demonic speed and pull you back down, as it would draw you down and drown you as well as following you if you tried to escape to the surface. I will try and send u a concept. Also it would be a bit smaller than a dragon leviathan
Sorry to hate but this concept is overly edgy, and there would be literally no space for it to fit in the extremely small lava cavern, it’s a cool concept, but make it smaller, less edgy and throw it near the deeper parts of the mushroom caves, near the thermal vents, it can keep the 8 eyes and open it’s mouth like that. Another good name would be “gorogon” leviathan, it references the mouth opening concept. I think it’s speed would be fast but only on the ocean floor, the color could look black and a similar look to the thermal vents, for its camouflage. As for the horns, ditch them for tentacles, and make the pull down function how it obtains it’s prey and or sustenance, make it an enemy of the crab snakes. That’s just a suggestion from me.
The nameless could be called "Draw shrimp" because they work with the ghosts. Ghosts offer protection, draw bug finds food and draws in the ghost. Lure bug also works.
The Snatchsaur. The Snatchsaur is a large eel like Sextiple legged reptilian with long legs. The back pair is two large webbed feet with thicc legs, the middles are for standing, and the front are arms. Males have a large crest on their skulls that they can flush color into to attract mates, while females have a stub like crest with a chartreuse color. Males are Mint green while Females are Tan. All Snatchsaurs have a crocodilian snout, and small cheeks. They can shoot their snout out to catch prey.If prey is too fast they will expel a Purple Gel substance which will quickly be absorbed by the creature’s skin and will be absorbed by your system aswell, inevitably sickening the prey, slowing it down. It will abandon you, and once you think it’s gone, it will burst out of the kelp and extend its snout to catch you. During extreme tsunamis from the deep oceanIt it will grip onto the kelp like sea dragons and they are smart enough to expel sticky yellow mucus at the kelp strand behind them and will stick their tail to it. It is 2 meters tall and 6 meters long.
Peel for sure my favorite. Imagine seeing just one near your base and its not aggressive to you, not a issue but something to remember until a second makes its way to your base and they begin to actively hunt the player for a bit.
7:00 That actually sounds like a great idea! Especially when you said it could possibly be whale-like. Because like the blue whale in real life, it will often save other species from predators and scare them off, so yeah! Nice!
5:19 Lumin-Shroom-Lob (luminesce, mushroom, lobster) If there is enough of the lobsters pinching onto you, they will start illuminating and getting rid of your cover in the void, or just somewhere dark. They could also be killed and there back-side can be used as a torch or a glow stick! You could even bring them to the fabricator and use them for some mushy-glowing... mush. With enough of this mush and more stuff, you can get night vision! (I also thought of an idea where when you have the mush, you smear it across your goggles, and you get limited time of night vision.)
See I always wanted a creature that was aggressive and extremely territorial which would guard areas of rich resources causing problems for the player. However, once you managed to snatch an egg and grow it in a containment unit you could release it and it would guard your base from attacks by irritated creatures. Somewhat less explosive than crashfish but similar in function I suppose. This would mean that you could grow a veritable army of these things to use as weapons against Leviathans meaning killing one would actually be more interesting than repeatedly stabbing it with a knife.
@@ShaeoSilentclaw 2 things: 1: Judging from your name you are a reader of the wings of fire yes? 2: Not really. I was simply comparing it to the fact that crashfish nests are where you get sulfur and they protect those nests aggressively. So the area where it nests would be rich in resource nodes and it would aggressively attack all intruders but not really swim around of its own accord. Once you released a tame version it would latch on to a piece of your base and attack any nearby hostile enemy in a similar aggressive manner.
The leviathan at 6:33 makes me think of a dolphin honestly! I feel like it would be cute to have a sea creature in the game you could maybe ‘tame’ and have help you through the kelp, a buddy for finding scraps!
5:19 how about the shine/ glow lobster. Also an idea of an ability it could have, it could slap the player if attacked or if the player avoids the ghost leviathan and if the player is close it use it's two biggest claws and grab the players arms making sure they can't escape and flickering their tails to attract a ghost leviathan and letting it get close and consume the player while they have to watch it happen
Interesting concepts. At one point I thought about making a non aggressive deepsea leviathan based on multiple types of crustaceans mainly the lobster where it filter feeds but it will swat you away like a pest. Call it the abyssal leviathan
I may be a *little* late, but I had my own I made for my teacher who really likes Subnautica! It doesn't have a name yet (if you have an idea, please do reply with it-), but it is a non-hostile creature with a pale purple underbelly and black eyes. It's evolved to have it's eyes, red markings that seem to resemble a Reaper Leviathan a small bit, and it's most useful attribute, it's roar. When startled, it will wait until the startler is just not directly looking at it, then let out a roar that is almost the same as the Reaper Leviathan, just quieter. If killed you can harvest a special part of it near the throat to make a special horn you can blow above water to temporarily scare away many enemies, and if used underwater it will take a bit of your oxygen. These creatures are about the size of a Chihuahua as juveniles, but afterwards they come out from having burrowed in the ground, and similar to an accordion, can stretch just a bit. The longest ever recorded was about 40 meters in length.
6:33 I think it should be called a electric leviathan, it doesn't attack unless you get too close than it shocks you with its.. i guess you could say its glowing tenticals
Hunter Leviathan It's a combination of my two favorite overpowered crustations, the peacock mantis shrimp and the bullet shrimp. They are both quite similar, but the peacock mantis shrimp has a "spear version". The bullet shrimp has one gigantic claw, about half the sice of its own body. Both fingers (no idea what it's actually called) are controlled by two muscles that stretch each other and build up incredibly force. When released the force splits water and creates and air bubbles which immediately implodes which creates a (stoney?) hitting sound. It gets hotter than the surface of the sun and basically cooks their target. They live in colonies and communicate with the hitting sound. It gets very loud and also incredibly hot. But the Hunter Leviathan is a lonely creature. The peacock mantis shrimp uses a similar mechanism to the bullet shrimp, but just punches or has spear like arms instead of claws which shoot out 50 times faster than we can blink to stab its prey. It's ideal to their lifestyle because they live most of their lives in holes. The Hunter Leviathan is of course much bigger than the shrimps, about 35m long. It has one big claw and a spear arm. Due to its sice the force released is far more powerful. It doesn't use the heat but the suction force of the small vortex created when clapping. It uses it to suck its prey near it and then immediately stab right through it. Like both of the shrimps it needs a lot of energy, in other words food to use its claw and spear. It's constantly on the hunt, therefore its name. So it's always hostile, but prefers the largest prey nearby. When you see it, you should immediately run away because the spear's range is massive and it can even suck you near it. It lives in tropical areas like the peacock mantis shrimp and is also rainbow colored like it. Edit: Where can I submit my scetch?
The iron back leviathan inspired me to make a Subnautica creature concept like this and name it after the iron back leviathan and also whoever came up with the name iron back leviathan great job!
I have a concept for a creature I called "Bull Leviathan": It would be slightly bigger than a Reaper, it is dark blue (almost black) and can be found in the dunes (5 individuals), mountains (4 individuals) and blood kelp zone (1 individual). His name comes from the 2 horns on his head. I haven't made a drawing of him yet but I might make one, I would love if there was a place I could share it with you guys.
Great news everyone, I finished the drawing! You can see it here: gamejolt.com/p/this-may-be-the-longest-art-i-made-with-paint-tool-sai-meet-the-bu-wpyidmgp I might upload it on deviantart too.
I know I'm late to this one, and I don't art, but there's a Subnautica creature I've really been thinking of the last few days... A Pygmy Reaper that's a direct result of the radiation from the Aurora's leaking engine drive. They'd only be about four meters long when fully grown and less aggressive than their larger counterparts... Mostly because they're technically a new favorite prey for the big Reapers. They don't have the gripping and bite strength of their larger counterparts which leaves their mandibles actually much sharper. And... If you can find a Pygmy Reaper egg and get it to hatch...They'd each have unique requirements to actually get the egg to hatch which you can determine by the 'health' color of the egg shell. Like one will only hatch if there are jellyrays in the tank with it and nothing else, like that. When it hatches You can keep it captive or release it and tame it by giving it a name and feeding it. And, over the course of time, several game days of interacting with and feeding it, even learn to 'ride' it. There would be a new crafting item which would require you to kill crabsnakes for their skins and you could make a Pygmy Reaper saddle with harvested crabsnake skins. And, since your Pygmy trusts you, it will even attack if you steer it toward larger leviathans, using it's razor sharp mandibles to slice into their flesh. Of course there's still the oxygen matter, so you would have to study your saddle to learn how to rig a brain coral plant to it and then you're set for hours of riding your miniature leviathan and using it to combat bigger leviathans. Of course, since there's no repair function, if your pygmy takes damage you will have to use health kits on it and every few days you need to give it a rest without wearing the saddle. I think it would be something interesting to add.
6:24 it would be a decoy for the Reaper Leviathan, it has the same spawn rate as them in each area, spawning that and a reaper at the same time. When it spawns the reaper would be lurking Behind, above, or below it, and getting within range it would be too late as the reaper is already headed to you.
The exterminator leviathan. You thought reapers were the only leviathan in the dunes? NO.Exterminator leviathans are an evolved species that has found a resistance to the Kaara virus, and Will hunt and slaughter any prey that is infected by it.The creature is slightly larger than a reaper leviathan, but much bulkier and Menacing. The beast has A head similar to a shark, but with a slanted head, with Multiple sets of mandibles and 5 pairs of eyes on the sides of the slant, and a Vertical mouth that runs down the front of the head to the end of its neck. It’s body is brown with spots of beige to blend in with the dunes ,with the only bioluminescence in its mouth. The beast possesses 4 Long finned arms, with several Tentacles at the end of its body. What makes The creature so horrific is its mouth. The creature will open its head Vertically and extend its Second set of jaws coated with razor sharp teeth ,and along with its 2 sets of Sharp teeth on its jaws, tear apart anything it bites onto. The only thing that can survive this attack is Your cyclops, which will take critical damage, but You do not need to fear the dunes entirely because the beast is nocturnal and will not hunt you intentionally(But it will chase you if it can see you)but if you get too close to where it sleeps........Well,It does not like wake ups.
6:30 i think we could call that the flash eel. It would eat the creepvine seed clusters, and would try to scare away stalkers due the the fact that stalkers will eat their eggs. Young flash eels are called flashlets, and need a parent, so if they hatch in alien containment, you have the feed it. They tend to get whiny when hungry, and will flash repeatedly if scared. Unlike other creatures that are born in containment, you can pick up the flashlets. You can elso press the button that usually use to put batteries in stuff to feed it a creepvine seed cluster. Basically, i want the baby ones as pets.
I have been hugged by a reaper literally, at one point the end of the head claws didnt hit me, it went towards me and slowed down as it got closer to a nice speed then instead if stabbing me and ripping me apart with the claws it wrapped them around me, it didnt roar at all and didn't push me around, it literally just went up to me and gave me a hug. This is why I love reaper leviathans
The sort of signal crustaceans could have a mutually beneficial relationship with ghost leviathans. The ghost leviathans in the void are territorial, since they need a wide expanse of ocean to feed on plankton. When the lights come on, they know where to go if something is drifting into their territory (and judging by how dark the void is, would likely be sensitive to light). They're likely not interested in eating whatever comes up over the crater's edge, that consumes too much energy. Instead, they'll just ram it a couple times to push it back towards the crater (which due to their size, might be fatal to some creatures incidentally). But the small crabs can feast upon fallen creatures knocked out by the ghost leviathans, so they have incentive to signal them when something appears. It's a win-win.
I'd love to see some form of mimic octopus-like creature that isn't dangerous but pretends to make itself look and sound like something that is. They'd be found all across the planet in nearly every biome and could even be seen tricking predators into thinking they're one of them. They could sneak up on the player and mimick the sounds of for example a Reaper and form it's tentacles into their four arms, changing it's color to red and white. When hit, they'd lose their disguise and nearby predators would notice and attack them. Said predators would prioritize it over the player due to the frustration of being tricked. A good way to identify them would be that they don't actually chase after you... And, well, they're restricted to their size. But they'd of course come closer to you in order to appear larger. They'd be described as quite intelligent and even playful, plus being adaptable to it's environment. And as a side detail, if you manage to hatch one there could be a small chance it will mimick the player's swimming animation.
Leviathan Concept: 'The Grappler' Description: The Grappler has a body about 2x the length of the Sea Emperor Leviathan (From head to the tips of the tentacles,) and has 8 tentacle-like appendages which hang off from the base of their head similarly to an Axolotl. They have very good sight and live in a custom area I made called The Bioluminescence Caverns. They usually consume plankton and other tiny organisms when there isn't much food, but when they find food, they use their tentacles to catch the prey and attack it. Their body is a glowing green color due to the large deposits of uranium in The Bioluminescence Caverns. They also emit a radiation aura which acts like the radiation from the Aurora. Attacks: - An attack where they smash their prey into walls, dealing 15% of the prey's HP in damage each time. - An attack where they charge into the prey while holding them (40 damage). - An attack where they drag the prey closer and bite (60 damage, 4 damage per second until you're out of the radiation aura). - An attack where they grab the prey's seamoth or prawn suit and slam it into the walls (20 damage per slam). - An attack where they use all 8 tendrils to put the prey in their mouth and attempt to consume their prey (Instakill if you're at less than 75 HP). - An attack where they use their tendrils to choke the prey like a boa constrictor (Drains prey's O2 really fast and also drains their HP by 1 per second / quite quickly). Extras: - Most of their body is their tadpole-like tail, with the part closest to their head having their 4 amphibian-like limbs attached, which makes them look very similar to an extremely long axolotl. - The Grappler is referred to, by the PDA, as the 'Axolotl Leviathan'. - The Grappler was originally just an Axolotl, but after the lifepod their owner was in broke, they swam down into the Bioluminescence Caverns and mutated quite quickly due to the abundance of uranium and alien chemicals. - They have 6 eyes and their lower jaw can split in half to consume prey. - It is very easy to detect them due to the crackling noise they emit, like the crackles from a radiation detector when the detector senses uranium. They also glow insanely bright, and in the Bioluminescence Caverns there is holes in the walls for you to hide from them.
4 that would be cool: 1. The Phantom Leviathan. Lives in the void, feeds on creatures that live there (fish, creature 3, medium sized rays and sharks) Can take flight to jumpscare it’s prey. Is hostile to player. 2. The Edge Leviathan. A massive creature, with only it’s tentacles visible. Feeds on EVERYTHING. I mean EVERYTHING. Will eat the Phantom Leviathan in a munch. Can crunch a Cyclops with it’s medium biome sized mouth with millions of teeth. Could probably battle with the Gargantuan Leviathan if it was still alive. Yes, unfortunately hostile to player. Is a dormant squid attached to the seafloor. 3. The Shadowlurker. A very humanoid figure with it’s mouth on it’s torso. Rib cage shaped teeth surround the glowing mouth, a bright purple. It’s head is shaped like a star with 3 tips. Is hostile to player. Is at the void. A large glowing blue eye is on it’s head. This creature would walk through the seabed of the void. May be seen attacking fish at the bottom of the void. 4. Smokeballs. The Smokeball would be a ball shaped creature that rolls across the seafloor. It would release a gas capable of killing the player in 4-2 hits. Normally blue, Smokeballs have a tough shell. Green ones may be seen in the Lost River, blue ones in the tree cove. A black one can also be seen in the Lava Zone, instead releasing underwater flames.
Here's a creature idea: Khimera. In the game's lore, the Khaara infection causes unpredictable biological mutations and eventual loss of executive control, but that doesn't necessarily mean the victim dies every single time. Maybe some unfortunate souls would become grotesque amalgamations of sea life, mutating based on their surrounding environment. This would include human survivors from the Aurora, maybe looking like Davy Jones's crew from Pirates of the Caribbean with green pustules. Leviathan-class Khimera would be especially horrific.
WAIT WHAAAAAT, my concept is on here? (This is Khaise draws btw) It was actually named the Jungle Shark and was designed to assist the player by lighting up areas when fed fish to eat.
I think a cool leviathan would be a Jelly Leviathan. It would be like a Jellyfish, but it has pincers as well as its usual stingers. It would patrol the Jelly Shroom cave. It would either grab the player or sting them and continue to eat them through their mouth in the bottom of the body. It would also use its pincers to attack any vehicle, either downright hitting it, dealing damage, or, like the Reaper Leviathan, grab your Seamoth or Prawn and carry it around, smashing it into any nearby surface, dealing even more damage. It would have a pink biolumenscent glow and it could ambush its prey by making transforming itself to look like a Jelly shroom. The only way you could distinguish it from one of the big shrooms would be to take note of its transluscent body.
"Bright Light." I think the glowing crab would be something you can basically farm, or you could kill it to grab the light on the back of it. You can make tools out of this light, like flashbang torpedoes. If you are in a dangerous situation where something like the reaper or a dangerous animal is coming at you and you aren't in a seamoth/prawn suit, then you could stab the light to spread a huge explosion, taking a little bit of health away from you but causing the predator to be disoriented.
What’s cool is due to the unique nature and world of subnautica, pretty much all the fan content created is solid af. Not much room, opportunity or even desire for cringe or problematic content. Just cool ass landscapes and scary fish.
One thing if add to Subnautica is a dead titan leviathan corpses with intensive wounds suggesting 1. They are still alive and 2. There's something unseen and dangerous enough to prey on them
The silence Is something I encountered, It was a reaper leviathan not roaring or making any sound, even the one next to it was roaring and making sound, but the other one wasn’t
I had a fascinating dream about subnautica at one point..... I had crashed on a ship similar to the aurora but much smaller and there were several biomes surrounding me all wildly different from one another but each biome had one leviathan stalking its respective biome. It wasn’t like there were multiple of the same leviathan either. It was one leviathan of one type would be in these areas. The dream showed me 3 of the 12 leviathans and one of which still scares me...... there was the black light leviathan dwelling in the glow biome, it was a fairly big leviathan on par with the dragon but it was black with bioluminescent purple lining the edges of its body and looked like a manta ray. It was not hostile or as far as the dream showed me. There was the hunter leviathan which was an offshoot of the sea dragon but didn’t have the dragon like features. It was a deep brown small leviathan with a beak. It dwelled at the ship and it was hard to see. Then.... oh god this one.... why WHY did I dream of such a terror..... it has a tame name but a horrific appearance and it’s HIGHLY aggressive. During the dream it actively chased me through 2 biomes. It’s called the rocket leviathan. It’s a massive magenta and blue leviathan that looks like a mutated reaper without fins or those mandibles and.... well it’s tough to describe due to it’s actual appearance.... the rocket’s body seemed to be made up of some type of bizarre magenta exoskeleton that only looked like a cage wrapped around the behemoth. The rest of it’s blue body was under the exoskeleton cage thing. It was FAST. The second it sees you, it will bolt for you and chase you. If it were to exist in the game, escape would literally be impossible.
4:10 this could've been used by the game as whenever you stay in the dead zone for far too long and not even 3 ghost leviathans are enough, this thing would emit the soundwave like in the description of it, and the other ghost leviathans remaining in the area would flee, indicating that you should too, but if you stay in the dead zone, this thing would emerge and instantly destroy the seamoth or prawn suit, and take 5 hits on the cyclops before destroying it, and instantly kill you straight after, and even after you respawn, there will still be a lack of noise, continuing the unsettling feeling, no one would return after that
This reminds of my own fan made subnautica creatures Three of them were leviathans and one was a normal creature The three leviathans were: -armoured leviathan (this one’s aggressive) -snake leviathan (this is the peaceful one, he lives with reefbacks and cleans them from parasites) -last one was shark leviathan( another aggressive creature) And that normal creature was some sort of snail and I imagined that you could collect it’s goo to create something idk what
Name: Shroom Shrimp Habitat: Safe Shallows, Jelly Shroom caves, Cove Tree, and Mushroom Forest Nature: Defensive Food: Plant roots and Acid Shrooms Description: This small species of fauna is very common. When feeding they bury their soft bodies in the sand and suck nutrients from the roots of what they're feeding on, making them appear as nothing but a mushroom to avoid their main predators which includes but aren't limited to: Jelly Rays, Rabid Rays, Ghost Rays, and Bladder Fish. This creature may be what makes the rays flesh toxic as when approached it spews an acid substance similar to acid shrooms Appearance: They can come in many sizes and colors depending on their habitat. Assessment: Thick gloves when handling
My idea for a leviathan is one called the phantom leviathan. It will have the ability to be almost completely invisible, (temporarily) with a little bit of distortion around where it is swimming. It would be blind, and see using echolocation (a bunch of clicks), so when you are swimming around and you hear tons of weird clicks you know one is close, and you’re gonna die from something you can barely even see. I don’t know if that is too op or not, maybe it can’t see (edit: im stupid i already said it’s blind) if it’s invisible or something, I dunno. Edit: maybe it could be a new void leviathan, and i feel like it should almost be like an octopus/squid, and it can spray clouds of ink. For the instant kill animation i imagine You would just be completely surrounded by black ink and you just hear the clicks (which would be similar to the ones from the monsters from the quiet place movies, like a slowed down tazer) getting louder and faster, until they stop, and everything is dead silent. After 3-5 seconds of nothing happening and the player looking around, the player would look back to see a tentacle or something that grabs them and shoves them into the leviathans mouth.
The RearJaw Leviathan The RearJaw, from a sideview, is leaf shaped, but similar to a whale. It’s upper and lower half, like a whale, are two colors, separated by a white stripe that runs along the body. Its head doesn’t have eyes, nor a mouth, or does it? Upon closer inspection, you’ll find that the other end of the creature’s leaf-like body is actually the head. The part of the stripe, near the “rear” splits in two from the middle, opening near half the body up, forming a mouth. It’s eyes and gills are covered up by fins. RearJaws swim backwards, making themselves look harmless, but underneath, they’re vicious, terrifying monsters with several rows of teeth.

5:18, it would be called the "Crawshroom", because its back looks like a mushroom, and the front is like a lobster (part of the crawfish species)
Sounds more like Parasect.
Clacteni?
Shroomshrimp sounds better
@@pingusdingus2687 I was thinking Mushrimp. It's easier to say, and if you ask me, it sounds better.
Well it kinda looks like an ant too so im gonna call it Antster. Or because of it having bunch of legs, Centicap (Centipede & Mushroom Cap). Lobsnid or Lobsnith? Like arachnid but its a lobster.
The fact they made the silence.
I love that the makers actually take fans opinions and requests.
The light up lobster creature you mentioned could be a creature in the abyss that is attracted to the flares and if you feed it the creature becomes a friendly little creature that sits on your helmet and works like a flash light but points in the direction you look as well as being friendly there could be a mechanic for it where it flashes when an enemy is close and also when it’s hungry were you take chip damage of 1/2 or 1hp every 10 seconds or so and a name for it could be glow and crustacean combine like a Glostacean
remember this comment is just one sentence lmao
Lol
Add periods or at least commas.

Fallen so it kinda has the mouth of a chelicerate?
sooo, basically a sea dragon chelicerate
@@Esotericwisdom1848 thanks for the suggestion and I totally agree with you!
So the scorch leviathan
The nameless could be called "Draw shrimp" because they work with the ghosts. Ghosts offer protection, draw bug finds food and draws in the ghost. Lure bug also works.
"I mean, who likes stalkers?" Have you insulted Edge? *Gasp*
It is 2 meters tall and 6 meters long.
the peel is definitely my favorite on this list. its such a unique concept
Peel for sure my favorite. Imagine seeing just one near your base and its not aggressive to you, not a issue but something to remember until a second makes its way to your base and they begin to actively hunt the player for a bit.
The unnamed shrimp thing should be called the mushroom shrimp. Yes, that's really the best that I can come up with.
i think the name "glow shrimp" can be more fitting with the subnautica dictionairy
6:30 I think it should be called the angleelr (it’s like a eel and angler fish)

That actually sounds like a great idea! Especially when you said it could possibly be whale-like. Because like the blue whale in real life, it will often save other species from predators and scare them off, so yeah! Nice!
I loved this video! It was so cool to see a collection of creatures that fans have created for the game. I would love to see more like this ^.^
Glad you enjoyed it ^^

and now that it's in call of the void its fkn terrifying xD
6:46 "A cute creature maybe its friendly. Friendly creature mushy jolly and friend."
What went through my head upon hearing that.
5:19 Lumin-Shroom-Lob (luminesce, mushroom, lobster)
If there is enough of the lobsters pinching onto you, they will start illuminating and getting rid of your cover in the void, or just somewhere dark.
Imagine seeing that glowing in the dark at night all you see just a glowing face
Hey my dude, thanks once again for including my concept in your video!
This would mean that you could grow a veritable army of these things to use as weapons against Leviathans meaning killing one would actually be more interesting than repeatedly stabbing it with a knife.
bobbys332 you say like a crash fish.... does that mean it could explode?
@@ShaeoSilentclaw 2 things:
1: Judging from your name you are a reader of the wings of fire yes?
2: Not really. I was simply comparing it to the fact that crashfish nests are where you get sulfur and they protect those nests aggressively. So the area where it nests would be rich in resource nodes and it would aggressively attack all intruders but not really swim around of its own accord. Once you released a tame version it would latch on to a piece of your base and attack any nearby hostile enemy in a similar aggressive manner.
bobbys332 ah, first off, yes. Second off, that sounds cool
The leviathan at 6:33 makes me think of a dolphin honestly! I feel like it would be cute to have a sea creature in the game you could maybe ‘tame’ and have help you through the kelp, a buddy for finding scraps!
Noice idea
1:42 astral leviathan looks really badass and cool honestly
5:19 how about the shine/ glow lobster. Also an idea of an ability it could have, it could slap the player if attacked or if the player avoids the ghost leviathan and if the player is close it use it's two biggest claws and grab the players arms making sure they can't escape and flickering their tails to attract a ghost leviathan and letting it get close and consume the player while they have to watch it happen
You’re doing great just continue and you will be at 1M subs really soon
Aww thank you! I appreciate the kind words ❤
How nice of you Shervin.

Interesting concepts. At one point I thought about making a non aggressive deepsea leviathan based on multiple types of crustaceans mainly the lobster where it filter feeds but it will swat you away like a pest. Call it the abyssal leviathan
5:19 the poison lobster

When you said the first concept you ever saw, an ad for a car came and I thought that was the concept.
I got a Greenies ad. Lol
6:33 I think it should be called a electric leviathan, it doesn't attack unless you get too close than it shocks you with its.. i guess you could say its glowing tenticals
The Emperor leviathan is a sentient species already.

Hunter Leviathan
It's a combination of my two favorite overpowered crustations, the peacock mantis shrimp and the bullet shrimp.
Edit: Where can I submit my scetch?
dude the warpghost looks better than the actual ghost leviathan
The iron back leviathan inspired me to make a Subnautica creature concept like this and name it after the iron back leviathan and also whoever came up with the name iron back leviathan great job!

I prefer Snitch (credits to someone else in the comments) since it/they tell Ghost Leviathans where you are
My favorite is definitely the peel. It makes so much sense and could be in the red grass biome.
I have a concept for a creature I called "Bull Leviathan":
It would be slightly bigger than a Reaper, it is dark blue (almost black) and can be found in the dunes (5 individuals), mountains (4 individuals) and blood kelp zone (1 individual).

@@Shyrringe 17, actually. I only gave it a name that it reminded me of.
I think it would be something interesting to add.
some one start making a mod adding these
6:24 it would be a decoy for the Reaper Leviathan, it has the same spawn rate as them in each area, spawning that and a reaper at the same time. When it spawns the reaper would be lurking Behind, above, or below it, and getting within range it would be too late as the reaper is already headed to you.
Love it
I never believed when Onat showed his designs on his channel. He's a wizard with this stuff.
The only thing that can survive this attack is Your cyclops, which will take critical damage, but You do not need to fear the dunes entirely because the beast is nocturnal and will not hunt you intentionally(But it will chase you if it can see you)but if you get too close to where it sleeps........Well,It does not like wake ups.
ok
Go baglebyte!
:D
I have been hugged by a reaper literally, at one point the end of the head claws didnt hit me, it went towards me and slowed down as it got closer to a nice speed then instead if stabbing me and ripping me apart with the claws it wrapped them around me, it didnt roar at all and didn't push me around, it literally just went up to me and gave me a hug. This is why I love reaper leviathans
Dude, these guys have so much creativity
5:07 I would call it lumiprawn or glowcray
6:27 I would call it glow-whale
I wonder if he used this for inspiration for call of the void
Chance for remaining undetected in the silences territory 0%
The Cyclops: laughs in rigged for Silent Running
Fun fact they are adding the silence to the new game
I love the peel concept, who knows, maybe there is a creature like that in our ocean we just haven't discovered yet.
Leviathan Concept: 'The Grappler'
Description:
The Grappler has a body about 2x the length of the Sea Emperor Leviathan (From head to the tips of the tentacles,) and has 8 tentacle-like appendages which hang off from the base of their head similarly to an Axolotl.
Attacks:
- An attack where they smash their prey into walls, dealing 15% of the prey's HP in damage each time.
Extras:
- Most of their body is their tadpole-like tail, with the part closest to their head having their 4 amphibian-like limbs attached, which makes them look very similar to an extremely long axolotl.
The peel is my favourite. Really interesting concept and hunting mechanism.
4 that would be cool:
Where do you find concepts like these apart from deviantart
WAIT WHAAAAAT, my concept is on here? (This is Khaise draws btw) It was actually named the Jungle Shark and was designed to assist the player by lighting up areas when fed fish to eat.
Warp reaper is my favorite concept, holy hell that looks cool and would be terrifying!
"Bright Light."
I think the glowing crab would be something you can basically farm, or you could kill it to grab the light on the back of it.
I seriously love that outro 🤣🤣
4:10 this could've been used by the game as whenever you stay in the dead zone for far too long and not even 3 ghost leviathans are enough, this thing would emit the soundwave like in the description of it, and the other ghost leviathans remaining in the area would flee, indicating that you should too, but if you stay in the dead zone, this thing would emerge and instantly destroy the seamoth or prawn suit, and take 5 hits on the cyclops before destroying it, and instantly kill you straight after, and even after you respawn, there will still be a lack of noise, continuing the unsettling feeling, no one would return after that
Thanks, now I'm scared of the dead zone even more than before!
This reminds of my own fan made subnautica creatures
Three of them were leviathans and one was a normal creature
The three leviathans were:
-armoured leviathan (this one’s aggressive)
-snake leviathan (this is the peaceful one, he lives with reefbacks and cleans them from parasites)
-last one was shark leviathan( another aggressive creature)
And that normal creature was some sort of snail and I imagined that you could collect it’s goo to create something idk what
Name: Shroom Shrimp
Habitat: Safe Shallows, Jelly Shroom caves, Cove Tree, and Mushroom Forest
Nature: Defensive
Food: Plant roots and Acid Shrooms
Description: This small species of fauna is very common. This creature may be what makes the rays flesh toxic as when approached it spews an acid substance similar to acid shrooms
Appearance: They can come in many sizes and colors depending on their habitat.
The RearJaw Leviathan
The RearJaw, from a sideview, is leaf shaped, but similar to a whale.
I think that the mushroom crayfish Butt plug thing would burry itself in the sand and when something tries to eat the mushroom it attacks.
I love the cute reapers and your logo!
