    I tense up while watching this trying my best not to fall out of my bed lol. The fish eye perspective and trails gives a very cool experience. I'm not even into this sport and enjoy this video.

    I could never do this...I can barely ride a normal bike on a normal, flat road in ideal conditions...but I do love watching the people who can. I absolutely love seeing the skill and passion people have for their different interests. Also love that you kept pausing to chat with the kids who were also doing that run.

    probably some of the gnarliest and unique terrain in the east... that one love drop is intimidating in the dry!

    @Skills With Phil - Great video today. I live about 25 minutes from Bolton so it is cool to see a video on local trails. You make these very difficult trails look easy. Love the vids so keep them coming and thanks for representing Vermont Mountain Biking is such a positive way!!

    I don't know how you guys ride that terrain especially downhill and so fast that's really crazy when the guys do it on those super narrow paths so high. I normally don't like you bikers being in street traffic but I give you guys much props for stuff like this.

      Mountain bike parks have changed drastically in the past 15 years, but the terrain that bolton has is always super unique. Also the view from the top when it's not cloudy is amongst the best in the state.

    In my area.....when the trails get that wet they are shut down. Good to see some inclement weather riding.

    This gave me anxiety. My riding goes to pieces in the muck. I would have slide on every single rock. Mind blowing riding. Gnarly looking crash too!

    I think Bolton in a few years can be a really good bike park for all levels

      I agree. They are putting in a lot of work and the owners are passionate riders themselves. The terrain they have to work with is actually quite challenging, but it also makes for some crazy unique terrain. I can't wait to see what it looks like in 5 years.

    I remember that first trail from my first DH race 17 years ago. It hasn't changed much, a few new smooth corners that look fun. Great to see Bolton back in the mix of bike parks!

    Good video👍 Chairifts and gondolas hang on a "rope" though, not a cable. A cable is one strand, a rope many strands, which is how the chairlift rope is constructed.

      Somebody mentioned that earlier, which was news to me and also a cool fun fact. I also went down a rabbit hole on how they fused the ends together to make a loop! Anyway I guess i should be referring to my bikes shifter cables as shifter ropes. Hehe, I'll probably keep calling them cables myself, but it's good to know if I'm ever talking to somebody who works around chairlifts and they call it a rope, I'll know what they are referring to!

    Thease bikes are amazing their like dirt bikes without motors back in the day when I rode mt bikes I could of never hit the trail your on even if I had the skills and I had good expensive bikes treck and GT triple triangles and when I was13 /14 /15 I rode free style most of time but I hade a giant gravel bike it was half mountain bike and half road bike with 18 gears it was really fast and good for wheelie.

      thanks for stopping by! Big jumps look impressive but often times they’re actually easier. Technical slippery terrain is much more challenging.

    Loving the vid so far Phill, gotta stop and ask how you run 26 psi and don’t burp your tires everywhere?? what tires you use, dh casing? or using cushcore?

      Cushcore+dh casing (back) & cushcore with exo+ casing front. I ran 30 psi when i raced at powder with the same setup.

      @@SkillsWithPhil wow okay so you change your psi that significant for the type of riding. I usually change it like max 3 psi if its dry to muddy. I should give it a go with a lower pressure now that I got the ADR in the rear. appreciate the response, love watching the perspective of a rider who can attack any trail given to them. Ride on
