Dude that shortcut at 27:00 was probably the greatest thing I have seen in 2021
Agreed. Not sure if the riders behind him took the same line...but I'm betting Kilian made the line himself beforehand. He knows the course well.
seems cheating, but i dont know the rules of the track
@@rcs2003 He only has to go through those RED arrow way points, he doesn't have to follow the trail he can go as the crow flies so to say between those way points

@@rcs2003 fine line between cheating and skilz.
Not even 5 minutes in and I already feel my quads and core burning.
YESSSSS! Finally a new Kilian Mountain of Hell Winning Run video! Watching the older ones was starting to run its course.
Kilian, how fast can you ride down that mountain?
Kilian: Yes.

That's beyond incredible, I have no words, I'm out of breath just watching -- I'M hyperventilating! Now, 5 minutes after I caught my breath after nearly holding if for half an hour: Just to memorize that course and then run it had to take some great skill, stamina and gall beyond belief! Congrats, on your win, man, you deserved it! (Do you have any intact tires left on that bike?) Bravo-Zulu, Killian, one helluva run!
I love how different the terrain is, you really need to be a relatively complete cyclists to do well in this. And the views as well, just outstanding.
This is what it sounds like when I am eating my breakfast burrito.

That’s what it sounds like AFTER eating my breakfast burrito
bruhhh 😂😂
7:22 felt sad for this guy
He was moving very fast but a single fall mad him lose the race
On this length one fall is nothing if you and your bike are ok. If you are faster and have better physique you have a lot of time to overtake
@@GetAssista looks like he won by about 11sec. So perhaps it did make a difference. These guys are all so close in ability
I didn't see him in the end so it seemed to cost him everything. I hope he's OK.
Great example of life🤓
@@dozerthecat the second dude who came in was a different guy then the one who fell over
I love the backward glances - kept feeling the tension in wondering how close the competitors were.
Also totally admire the skillset in glancing back at that speed and not face-planting into a tree!
Thata's a pro level hardkore DH. Suicide for most of folks. Awesome perseverance, kudos to the biker for his endurance and commitment.
Oh boy that was quite amazing!
He clearly knew the run better, congrats to all of them to be able to do this in such intensity!
Bravo Kilian pour ce superbe run!
First, the best bicycle with the best rider. Second, if your girl’s parents have any doubt in you just show them this clip. And Third, thank you very much for loading this footage, it amplified the real talent you have and really appreciate all those riders as well. Thank you and stay safe.

Dang they literally went through 4 different biomes LMAO
Congratulations on the win!

Yeah this is how these races be like
This came up on my feed and I thought to myself let me just quickly see what it’s about, and then watch something else.
I ended up sitting back and watching the full race. This was seriously something out of this world.
The talent all of you riders have to memorise so well the track and to go through every type of track is mind blowing.
I’m itching to see more of this I am now addicted 😢
Fun fact:
Part two is where they all bike back up!!!
In just 65 minutes!

29 minutes of the most graceful combination of fitness and skill. wow, just trying to pump oxygen into his muscles had him breathing at max for 15 minutes straight.
and the skill to weave your bike-body down those slopes while pushing your muscle-body to 100%... just insane.
I love how near the villages they're all like "Go, Kilian! Go!". Must be a real boost.
the breathing is the best part in my opinion, the breath of pure hard work and pain. breathing like this is nothing more then a power move (it may also be essential but whatever lol)

The stamina blows my mind honestly. I'd literally die.

Most incredible skill and endurance I've ever seen on UA-cam! You are a great athlete! If I tried even 100meters of that course I would be dead.
Absolutely insane - as always!
Thanks for letting us taking part.

First bike I ever had was approximately 2 feet tall. I learn to ride that bike, no training wheels, and that’s where you would find me a All Summer Long on the back of my bike. I’m 70 years old, and I still ride a bike. This was amazing and breathtaking. Thank you for bringing me along.
