Trail looks so sick. Love to see the bigger line choices in blue trails. Sometimes it’s hard to sneak them in without sending traffic directly into them. Builder is on point.
when I did snowboarding trips, tourism Quebec, they enjoy helping and getting on a hill. they even offered bus rides. i wonder if they will do that for bikes...
Phil it’s because of you I bought my first GT bike. It’s a used 2017 gt carbon pro. Would have went for a newer one but definitely not affordable being a single father of three. Love your content and you have some awesome bikes. Stay safe and god bless bro.
The current sensor is probably my favorite bike in my stable. I love the force for big stuff, but the sensor is really versatile and i feel really at home on it.
Apart from goat skull and a few other breif sections of trail, I find Killington to be very boring to ride. For such a big established resort its a shame they don't put much effort into making good trails.
@@SkillsWithPhil that's true, I remember there was an interview with the Loam Ranger and they had ideas to add more black / prolines in the future, but three years later and it's basically the same exact trails :(
@@nathankovach7414 I don't really see killington ever changing. Their target clientele is families from New York, CT, New Jersey who want to escape the city/suburbs for the weekend. They also have national and state forest lands that they have to navigate around, which doesn't make things any easier. But there's a reason I don't go to Killington much.
As someone who’s a decent jumper and constantly rides black and double black tech……. What’s your advice to get the initiative to send big high speed jumps, drops and bigger jumps with steep lips? I believe a tutorial for what I just described would make for an excellent video just see your thought process and how you get comfortable on those types of features.
Here, they don't run shuttles, but anybody can shuttle with their own vehicles. You can see a few other groups shuttling. There's also a climb that brings you up to the same spot if that's more your thing.
Would be cool if you just super shortly in the beginning said what bike you’re using (travel), can’t remember all the bikes you have 😅 What tires are you running on this bike?
Looks amazing and would love to visit ... Only hesitation is the shuttling. I usually only travel with 1-2 guys so wouldn't want to shuttle ourselves. If there's a service they should promote it and include in these vids. I love bike parks and this place looks sick, but it's a long ride, and one I probably wouldn't do without a reliable ride up.
There's a really pleasant pedal up that joins up right at the top of Godzilla. Otherwise you might be able join up with another crew and trade off who drives.
Those are awesome trails. They look pretty hardtail friendly, too. I hate the standard single tracks, with dirt only wide enough for your tire, and with brush overgrowth and branches hanging over it. Minimum 36" trail width (1 meter-ish for you metric types) should be the standard. USA needs trails like the ones in this video.
We only saw the same 3 flowy trails...everything else in the Shannahan area is singletrack, more like xc trails. I wouldn't do the Neilson trails on a hardtail lol The singletracks are probably 2-3' large but the trails on this video are wayyy larger! Those are what you would see in a bike park but its only those 3 trails, otherwise it is wayyy different! If you only like those kinda trails, I wouldn't go to Shannahan, which is more like adventure trail bike with some nice rivers, etc.
Nah, there's so many riders out there these days, it's impossible to keep track of everyone. I don't take it personally, in fact it's kind of refreshing.
@SkillsWithPhil 100% those berms held u and helped u gain speed I mean u make everything looks fast smooth awesome remember watching u and then going to mt creek first time thinking this will be easy lol 3 years later still not easy but love it as a former motocross racer and combat veteran mtb saved my life
I've never heard Phil 'danger giggle' so much in one video. This was amazing to watch.
You've been killing it with the content lately dude!
Thanks Steve!
That's one of the best run. 😮😮😮
The guy riding in front was ripping it, all those airs making it look so easy great to watch!
this video is working, i gotta go to quebec more often. glad im only a few hours away
Ive done many trips to Quebec that weren't sponsored if that tells you anything :)
Yes fresh burger and a new Phil vid 💪🏼
Always a good day when Phil drops a video
I love how Phil attracts the local talent. Super cool jumps. Glad you didn't '''loose an ankle''. Yeah buddy 🤘
I definitely felt my ankle tingle on that one. I don't like hucks to flat on this bike!
Trail looks so sick. Love to see the bigger line choices in blue trails. Sometimes it’s hard to sneak them in without sending traffic directly into them. Builder is on point.
Yeah, I think it's something that's overlooked by a lot of builders. You can get way more milage out of trails if you build them with hidden lines.
Does Phil have a stunt double that he hired to do the more extreme jumps?
Phil is the stunt double
Always mind blown by Phils line choices!
Awesome riding Phil!
Thank you!
The builder really enjoys riding the trails he made, a pleasure to watch 👍🏼 and THAT was AMAZEballs, wow, nice place!
This place looks wicked fun!
It is i live here in Quebec and rode it a couple or Time and its incredible
My word those trails look insane!
Octopus and Kraken were low-key one of the best Blue trails I've ridden. Lots of options and such good support in the berms.
Looks like you were having a blast on those trails...love that!
Wow 🤯 so sick.
You know its a good one when Phil needs to revisit trails or says; "that might be my favorite trail" ❤
I was really not expecting that blue trail to be so good, nor was I expecting to enjoy the big jump line as much.
We need a chairlift to lap this all day
They definitely do!
4:30 dude!!!! awesome glad the bake made it
Niiiice. Tku for sharing ❤
It looks like tons of fun!!
I was riding these trails today. The gaps you did in Octopus were impressiveeeee !
Amazing trails.
Loving that mint green frame!
Duel Solomons always brings something out of Phil
The variety of jumps looks really nice
This is one of the best videos you’ve uploaded! That place looks so sick

18:59 such steeze even on pov.
I live about 8 hours from here. Do you think a 150 mm bike is doable or would a rental be a better option?
That's what i was on. I wouldn't want a big bike for most of this terrain here.
@@SkillsWithPhil awesome. Thanks for the quick response.
Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan, you're such a talented rider, wow, just wow. Love your videos. Take care
So sick!
That was some warmup... crazy shit! Nice sailing.
Picking my jaw up off the floor now
Phil you gotta get to mount peg in Woodstock VT. Great vid by the way.
I have many times with and without cameras.

Those trails look 🔥
Kton just opened the whole mountain, any future plans for bike trips in VT?

Wild man you are such a sick rider watching you ride blind on these trails is just wild.
daaaaang this place looks sick!! maybe that big ole case explains the shock issues later in the week 😂
Nah, that case wasn't too bad compared to a lot of impacts. I think the shock was due to something that happened from MSA
Something about Seth’s orange p7 tickles my fancy and your bike reminds me of it
Duuuude so sick that's my hometown, lets gooooooooooooooo!!
my god, im out that way in a couple weeks...n i cannot wait
You're going to have a good time. It's a great place
sounded like DangerDave behind you LOL
VERY GOOD

man the speed that you have is freaking scary....

bike parks are great for wider trails. Natural trails are not supposed to be this wide. Go to a bike park if you don't like singletrack.

Would love to see what you say!
ya they wont let me in Canada
The trail builders attitude changed after he actually saw you ride after dual slalom.
the cam makes your bars look like 400 mm lol
Team danger
4:32 the first time I ever rode a bike

Nah, there's so many riders out there these days, it's impossible to keep track of everyone. I don't take it personally, in fact it's kind of refreshing.
