Never played Elderscrolls online; just never been into MMOs. But Skyrim itself is great; though I've never beaten it.

The limited inventory space made sense in RE 4, since it built on the "survival" feel of the game. But not so much for action games. I can see the point 100%
Yeah, it has a place in survival horror (shoulda mentioned that). Also collecting items in those games isn't as big a feature as RPGs so it's not nearly as tiresome.

Limited space is reasonable. A game (especially Deus ex) would be way too easy if you could carry unlimited weapons and ammo. It takes out the challenge of balancing your play style, will you keep a stun gun and a tranquilizer gun, or an assault rifle and pistol?

I have a request for your episode 2 review. I want you to use clips from anime shows not just Avatar or DBZ (and no naruto).
Is it just me or are games getting worse? Micro transactions? Game crashes? Glitches and bugs? I guess game developers haven't learned their lesson but why would they? They're still consumers pre-ordering games and we still have to deal with all of this.

It was kinda inevitable considering the technology these days. Bugs and crashes can now be fixed with updates but back in the days of the PS2 and before, developers HAD to get their game working perfectly as there was no way to patch them.
Modern consumers are too lazy to demand more quality content. It's our own damn fault.

I agree but that it is also partially our fault because we don't want to wait. People always complain when game releases are moved up but that is to prevent them from being rushed. We want games as fast as possible but then complain when they are rushed.

I think the main Problem this game has is, while Deus Ex is a RPG franchise, all game mechanics are limited by the RPG stuff. I'm playing NG+ with almost all augmentations I want unlocked and it plays so much more smoothly.

You should do a review Hyper Light Drifter. Its really good! It's a Legend Of Zelda kind of game, it was based of it. But you should play it.
Honestly, i'm probably one of the few people to say this but I have never played a Deus Ex game. I got the Directors Cut of Human Revolution for cheap but I haven't picked it up and play it. I might try these games out as they look kinda cool to me. Although, about your whole issue with the lack of inventory space some games like Resident Evil 4 did it well.
In that example, you have to think of what items to keep and use. Since it's a survival horror 3rd person game I think it's in the right to use that system IMO. (Besides, if you have unlimited inventory in games like Resident Evil 4 you be over powered as hell. Thus, getting rid of all tension in itself for games like 4.) I would understand the complaints for that gameplay design choice for games such as Pokemon Red & Blue but not for games like Resident Evil 4.(I can't say if it's good or bad for this game but perhaps it's maybe the point. To think about which items to leave and which ones to take.)
And it sucks this game fell into the same trap as a lot of 3rd Party AAA Games did this generation. I thought it be the exception where it work perfectly on launch and be a bug free game. But no of course not what am I thinking? It seems like most companies don't even bug test their damn games anymore. Almost like as if developers have gotten lazy because:"Hey you know. We'll patch it later so why bother in the 1st place fixing it?"
As for the ending, I hate god damn cliffhangers with a passion. Unless you guarantee me any many other people a sequel to your product then don't do it then! This is what I hate most from specific Hollywood movies. They leave shit that should of been answered unresolved til the sequel comes out.(If there is any.) And I don't want this to be norm for games. It be terrible if you ask me. (I just want a conclusion to a stand alone game. Is that a bad thing developers?)

And optional missions have always been my favorite, from Skyrim to Fallout 3 side missions are the real game. Fallout 4 fucked it up though, I never forgive and I never forget forgettable missions.
So, what was your first problem? The one that was a mistake.

Honestly my biggest issue with the Deus Ex cities is how small and cramped they are since the cities aren't big like GTA but are still as intimidating which feels out of place.
There is a silver lining to the size of the Deus Ex cities though as I think they're more densely populated with buildings you can enter. In GTA, there's like a thousand buildings that are just there for show.
The Unusual Suspect There is a certain charm but I think personally games like elder scrolls or fallout did it best because there were tons of buildings and you could enter each and every one of them so nothing as really ever decoration, which is what I like. Ty for responding that's like the first time a youtuber has. Also on PC mankind divided runs like a horses ass.
I agree with the limited inventory system. Granted that kind of inventory system would work for a survival horror game, if it's done right. But honestlly, why is this still a thing for games nowdays? That limited inventory space thing is annoying as fuck. Atleast in games like Resdient Evil 4. you can upgrade your inventory slots to make more room for ammo and bigger weapons. Game developers need to stop with that stupid limited inventory system.
Not just that, but games nowdays do not hold any interest to me anymore. Reason? Bugs, DLC's. microtransactions, etc. What the fuck happened to gaming? Nowdays everything turns into a money grabbing simulator and that pisses me off as do many other people. -_-
Limited inventory in Deus ex makes complete sense though. It challenges the player to consider what they actually need for a mission, whether it be an assault rifle, pistol, and grenades or a tranquilizer, stun gun, and gas grenade with some hacking gear. There wouldn't be a challenge if you could bring a shit-ton of ammo and weapons the accent every play style.

So the player should be able to carry everything they come across? No, you should be forced to make choices about what you want to carry and ditch the useless crap. If you need more space, then there's two upgrades to do so.
what a fantastic game that i will replay several times however unfortunately what you say is all true it ends roughly is drops side missions that are already hard to get and the get and the balance between violent and silent approaches are sadly unbalanced.
It would take a lot more than just better graphics to make this game worth the money. Like.. a story for example that does not suck.

I'm not sure if you got the main idea behind game series. It was never open world sandbox. It is stealth game with huge possibilities. Well... I wish it could expand the type of gameplay.

ThePreciseClimber I don't wanna minigames, I hated them in Fallout I hated them in Bioware Games. I wanna to Deus ex to be sure what it wants to be... and only Original Deus Ex does it... and Invisible war screwed it.
Playing this with the default controls is kinda like watching the director's cut of a movie... It's the way to play® So my take is (what I've gathered from Sir Jim Sterling) that I'm sure the reason for most of Mankind Divided's "con's" come from corporate business types, that know nothing about video games, who are meddling with a group of talented video game designers... Not a place where "great" games come from... It's a bummer!... But hopefully on the next go around EMontreal will knock it outta the park... Hopefully... #ellipses

This is why this game is a quantum leap better on a high end pc! The mods are incredible, and doesn't glith or crash! Graphics are soooooooooooooooooooo much better!!! This looks so aweful on console...and limited inventory is a better system, if you don't like this, Don't play Dark Souls, it is not fair at all lol. Human Revolution Director's Cut was vastly superior though.
While your videos tend to be a little more crass than I really enjoy. But I always find you to be extremely cleaver in ways that few other channels really are.

Especially during my binge sessions of Fallout 4, and when I get to a point where the game restricts me of obtaining any more cool items, because of this bullshit "trying to make games more realistic that you can't carry everything" mechanic. What makes that even worse is that you go at a snail's pace when you travel, and YOU CAN'T FUCKING QUICK TRAVEL BACK TO YOUR BASE TO DROP ALL THE THINGS YOU WANT TO KEEP!!! Why!?
