@UCJxVq-VfgjDjBd7g49v1Gbw She's actually 54% ahead on the turn - the graphic on the stream takes into account folded cards, which she probably couldn't have known about even if she used some method of cheating. Secondly, even if she had 47% it's an obvious call, you're being a massive nit if you think one should fold there with already so much money in the pot. 47% would be an easy +EV call.
Listen to Daniel Negreanus take on it. When he coaches recreational players, they give explanations for their decisions that doesn't make sense. Do you think they were cheating too, in his COACHING SESSIONS?
If you put your opponent on an Ace high then you're beat on the turn badly as have to improve to win, hand doesn't add up. Why was she in with such a poor hand preflop, there's no equity on an outplay of your opponent unless you put your opponent on an over pair and you're hoping for trips on the flop or to improve to get paid that is if you're opponent will even pay you off.
I've been watching garret play on huslers for over a year now. Dude has lost huge pots... i mean huge, some over 400k, and he laughs with the person who beat him and continues on. 100k is nothing to him and if he feels there's something fishy going on i believe him 100 percent.
Absolutely. EVERYONE in the poker world knows how nice Garrett is, how fair and just laid back. The dude is a genius, and I'm not going to stop supporting him on the very first occasion something controversial happens, even if he's wrong, what kind of fan would do that? Just let the pro's have it out, because it was Robbi who sat at the big boy table, and her repeated attempts to get Garrett "cancelled" over this, merely because she's a freakin' female, that alone makes Garrett right in my book, regardless of the specific situation....
Nobody can except the fact the idiot went all in with 8 high🤔 and he had that goofy look on his face because he did get called with with his 8 high and he's in shock he lost.
Her comments and explanations makes me think she’s not a seasoned player, who makes excellent plays but failed time and again in explaining how she came up with these plays.
@@kuikuisan724 If she isn't a seasoned player, then she wouldn't even know about any of the technical things she was mentioning. Pretty clear she was making excuses and just trying to not get caught to me
@@caneballer100 Anyone can know vaguely about technical parts of the game. I've been told a million times not to let me head fall over in cricket yet do it all the time. It takes a lot of practice to walk the walk.
@@Shivian124 That's kind of my point. I've never played cricket. So if I went to play right now I wouldn't even think to keep my head up. Kind of like how if somebody isn't experienced in poker, they wouldn't even know about blockers and card removal.
What's weird is her reaction after hero calling an impossible hand. Instead of celebrating, she was deliberately worried about Garrett's reaction knowing she played the hand weirdly. She knows
Yeah, I was thinking that last night. Her comments were really weird. She appeared to be more worried than happy. Like she was surprised at the table reaction because she had no idea what a ridiculous call it was.
Exactly. Its the biggest giveaway because she made an insane call against a poker pro and she acted like it was a very normal thing for her to do meanwhile in reality she hasn’t achieved anything close to such a call prior to this hand. And now she wants to act like she does it on the regular and there is nothing unusual about it. It literally only shows how little people know about probabilities in poker.
"I have a bluff catcher" No. Any human who genuinely thinks a naked jack at the turn.. in ANY hand.. on any board, is in the category of "just a weak bluff catcher" is tremendously wrong. This was either a terrible cheat, or the sickest "Task Failed Successfully" moment I've ever seen from a poker player who wasn't drunk as hell or high as a kite mid-game.
I no longer play poker. Saw this on the news and I knew there was only one person I could go to. Glad to see in desperate times like these, Doug still able to do videos, like these. Love you Doug.
You know guys. Standard Polker hands here. She’s either cheating, not cheating or purely ROFLSTOMPING. I can see a reason for all three, so onto the next hand…
I watched this hand live. At show down, Garrett, in shock looks around at every body at the table laughing at him. All Garrett’s opponents and supporters alike, were laughing at the absurdity of the hand. Everyone except for Robbi and one or two others were thoroughly enjoying Garrett’s pain. No doubt he would have wished he had stayed home that night.
Agreed! Truth. Poker is going to be losing A LOT OF WOMEN especially when male producers of broadcasts like HCL Ryan Feldman join sore losers like Garrett Adelstein in BULLYING the winners into returning the winners money. This mafia tactic should be a civil lawsuit. Garrett and HCL Ryan Feldman should be sued for harassment, bullying and intimidation to Robbi.
she says " I thought you have Ace high at best..." Garrett replies perfectly "then why would you call with Jack high?" she had zero response for that and just deflected..
@@rambohambo4244 Phil Ivey's interview is what I think most likely happened. She didn't want to say she misread her hand. After she admits she thought she had a 3. That's why she was stumbling when she was trying to explain calling with jack high. I'm just saying everything makes sense when you assume that she misread her hand. And it looks like cheating if you don't believe that.
@@ericroman6406 yea but the fact that she rechecked her card couple of times, veeery slowly and carefully, defeats that possibility of misreading her hand. she clearly knew what she was doing. giving money back to the man when that is your biggest win in life ever is end of discussion move. she checkmate herself im free to say she is one incredibly stupid woman
Not saying she's cheating, but EVERYTHING she did in that hand - the way she bet, the way she talked, the way she acted, the way she had 4 or 5 different explanations, etc, etc - is exactly how someone who was cheating would have done it.
Even her body language and the way she was constantly touching herself like a total weirdo putting her hand at one point inside her shirt (if you can call it that) between her fake tits screams "I'm here to distract you! Notice me and don't notice what I'm doing to you!" Even women who are legitimately attractive and distracting because of their beauty do not conduct themselves in this manner when they are even remotely thinking about the actions they are taking. Whether she used contact lenses that cued her, or her glasses or some form of miniature hearing device, hand signals, it does not seem possible that her behavior was not being directed by an outside entity. They did not invest enough time training this fraud and should have let her work her way up more slowly so she could at least appear legitimate and competent. I hate cheaters. Cheaters who then lie after they get caught cheating are even worse. I hope all the people who helped her to do this are also held accountable.
@11:10 she says she read him for an A which wld still have her losing and @11:35 she is still trying to explain her play then stops abruptly and says give me a second. Sounds like a signaler might be telling her to stop talking. Idk.
“I had a blocker.” First couple times i heard that I thought she incorrectly thought that her having j of clubs, thus blocking every draw, was reasoning for her to call-even though standard reasoning should actually point to a fold in that case. On further examination, sounds like she misspoke and damned herself. She had a blocker to HIS draw, and somehow she knew that. Speculative, but sounds like she might have basically admitted it. Curious to see how this develops
It's weird because she talked about a hand correctly when she played on a previous stream in regards to the K of hearts so she seems like she has knowledge. Why pretend to be completely clueless
Another way she could have mentioned about the blocker is that if she did put her on a range of 87, 76, etc, she is saying she has a blocker for the JQ draws so it’s more likely he has the lower open suited connectors (like what you’re saying). It just depends how narrow her range is and if she straight up putting him one 1-2 range, with a 50/50 flip and wants to stick it to man, that would make sense because shes just dumb. But her results on hustler and her way of working up the system can’t have variance this good for this long. Also, she’s supposedly married and is dating rip? Her character just flashes so many things wrong.
I took it to mean that she blocks QcJc therefore weighting his holdings more towards lower flush draws which combined with her live read that he was bluffing, makes a J high call conceivable. I don't get why people can't understand this.
she's allowed to bullshit right after the hand and not get everything right. if she was cheating, she'd have a story at the ready in case she got 'caught.' you guys are nuts-- i have watched the Hustler stream for weeks. if she was cheating, she'd NEVER offer to give the money back.
you can see the soul leave his body 5 seconds after she shows.. incredible. also the way she plays with her necklace after the hand, looks off in the distance and defends herself screams that something is off. people are usually ecstatic to win in this position but she just starts acting so strange.
@@joshuakinsman5787 she checked her cards before calling. She certainly didn’t misread her hand. And even if she did have a 3 unless she’s the dumbest player ever to exist she is still folding to that jam
@@youbluethatone1017 ive seen people hero call with bottom pair on a board like that, but the fact she checked her hand throws that theory out the window. This is gonna be in "top 10" type of videos for decades
I'm more suspicious at the fact she usually hums and haws when tanking but she got so exited when he jammed. The whole way throughout it she was smiling like the Cheshire cat. She knew she had won. Nobody calls that hand let alone smiles trying to contain excitement getting jammed holding j high. She cheated without a doubt
I 100% am convinced that there is something going on. There is absolutely no way in a thousand years that she can continue to call with no draw, no pair, nothing. It makes absolute zero sense that she would put all of her money in with Jack high. No draw or anything. For sure she's cheating!!!
@@samjames5664 she obviously doesn’t…. But if you know you’re ahead of your opponent, you can call knowing you’re ahead. Did you even watch the video??
What is most telling is her reaction (or rather lack of it) when she "realised" that she had won the hand. Most people who win a big pot like $250,000 react with far more enthusiasm. I remember when I had struggled for 7 hours after having flopped straight cracked and pocket Aces cracked and not got a hand thereafter and then ground my way back to $1,500. Then I had JJ and limped in under the gun and called a 36x BB. Flop came J88 and the raiser bet 100x BB and I flat called. On the turn was a dud card and he shoves all in. Even knowing I was well ahead, I just prayed for a card lower than J and almost had a heart attack when i saw a dressed card thinking it was a K thinking that the other player must have had KK or AA. It was a J for quads and I let out a mighty yell of relief. Wesley when he won a big all in was ecstatic. Her reaction was very muted and felt like she had to justify winning the hand. That to me is the biggest tell that something fishy was going on.
Exactly, I'm not on Gmans side. But Her reaction is so telling. Then she make no since for 5 mins. The other give away is she is not that good to call with J high, I know what she think she was doing, but it does not come off like she think it did. She is way to confident, say this is a pure bluff catcher. I would never let her back on the show. Something is totally up.
At around the 11 minute mark of this video, you can see her smile. It doesn't look like a "I don't know what to do / where I'm at" nervous smile. It looks like a "OMG, he's giving me 100k more.." type of smile. She was celebrating there.
One thing I noticed was that she really had no reaction whatsoever to winning the hand, like no expression of surprise or excitement when Garrett tabled 8-high. It felt almost like she expected J-high to be good. Very strange. Also, I did notice a lot of fidgeting and postural shifts from her; as Doug mentioned, some of her tanking didn't seem like actual thinking but more like waiting.
Especially good point because of the fact that she says she was putting him on A-high when she called. Imagine putting him on A-high and then calling, thinking you are behind and need to massively suck out, then the river bricks and it turns out your J-high is good. You’d have to think there would be a huge element of shock when it turns out you win, as you said, and I think you would even be highly apologetic to Garrett at that point. But she’s not apologetic and doesn’t feel bad at all. Until a later time apparently, when she gives him all his money back. WTF?
@@anthony-0101 She is lying. You can't call if you think he has A high. She didn't think he had A high. All she knew was that somehow her hand was good even though she had NO PAIR... (he must have some kind drawing hand worse than J high).

Accurate analysis Doug, thx. A couple of notes. RIP's outburst reaks of complicity that doesn't sit right by me. He also stood up and took a bow congratulating her calling her mam, as if he didn't know her. She plays poker like its play money and not real money, which if she was staked makes sense. Garret has lost a lot more in past hands and never ever reacted badly, in fact, notice that he was fine, even said "Amazing call" and only changed he's demeanour once he saw her hand. My first instinct was that something was really wrong here.
Why doesn’t Doug analyze the other odd hands from same night? Like earlier in night she had J8d vs Garrett Q4. Flop KQQ(two ♦️). Turn 4, Garrett boats up, she calls. River 7(no ♦️). Garrett bets 55k, and she was gonna call w J high. Now interesting part, HCL happens to have camera on close up, 1:52:15 I swear a can hear vibrator go off right before she folds. Hand vs Eric A8 vs her AK, very odd line check raise on turn. Hand vs Ryusuke J2 vs not shown(later flips QQ). Flop is QJ2(two ♠️). Turn is 7( no ♠️ ) she over-bets pot of 20k all in 250k. Odd line again.
I actually think the outburst is so authentic that it cements the fact that he thought she was wronged over. And so for me, it almost completely liberates him from being involved.
Two options: Terrible player or terrible cheater. I think she was cheating looking at her actings, however this is such a bad cheating that is hard to belive. Even if I have the info that I am ahead or his exact hand I am letting it go. First, it is not a good pot odds spot at all considering your cheating advantage. Second you will be exposed so hard. You can wait for much better spots and you will end up making more money. Only assumption we can make for sure is that she is not very smart..
She goes to twitter and claimed she was "bullied." Didnt we all see how RIP, her "boyfriend" or whatever, proceeded to interject himself into their covo and begin calling him b***h, p***y, and who knows what else. Feels like he also knew they got caught and did all the bullying
Well I think you’re right to focus on facts as well as on strong circumstantial evidence. She said in an interview right afterwards that she was not pressured to give the money back and rather she offered to give the money back. Now on Twitter she says she was pressured “full story to come” which is contrary to her prior story. And that’s not the behavior of someone who is forthright and honest.

Imagine getting lucky. Not cheating at all and winning the craziest pot of a life time just to give it all back. Very lucky Garrett got his money back. Most people don’t have the guts to speak up when they get cheated. When you feel something you should speak up. Even if you doubt. My problem is how she reacted after showing her cards... if she thought she had a 3 would u not atleast be shocked when u realize u don't have 3? She looks and reacted way too calm after showing her hand and also it is 4 Hearts she had as well. Even if she miss the 3, how can she misread hearts...
I actually thought she looked kinda shocked. And after the best player in the world pressures her to explain herself she goes into panic mode and just says whatever makes her look smart. But she doesnt understand poker on the same level so it comes out stupid. She says at one point when he shoves "is a 3 enough?" On top of that she had J3 the prior hand. For a newbie its easy to get lost and confused and just say whatever she thinks they want to hear. Atleast lets wait untill we got proof. This could impliment the people running the games.
No, absolutely not. Why? Because she thought she was going to lose and saw that Garretts hand is dead and she has the winner. Cant you understand? Just a quick question, as we always seem to pick up obvious cheating hands. What are the chances that there are a lot more cases of people being more selective in live stream game cheating, in that we just don't pick up on it, because the cheaters aren't as deliberately obvious? If we can pick up on cases like this, I would say it is likely there are a lot more cheaters who are more savvy or selective in their moments when cheating, so they wont draw attention or get caught.
There are tons of cheaters. Cheaters kn every game. We only see the high stakes ones that are streamed. Nobody cars about the everyday 1 2 dollars cheater. You gotta be really stupid to cheat with this many cameras.
If you look at the winning players at the High Stakes it seems pretty fishy where some players are at. I agree with you, if a seasoned Poker player decides to start cheating its basically impossible to detect.
He changed my opinion with that final segment of the show. It really does seem like a stupid spot to cheat. One of the worst spots really because it's a ridiculous call that will surely be scrutinized. However it's easy for her to think "i've minraised and now i have odds". Maybe bad logic but not wildly bad there.
People seem to be levying the arguments that she is either A. very bad and inexperienced at poker or B. definitely cheating. However, I think both of these can be true. She likely could have a device that just indicates to her if she is good or not, as Doug said, and has no knowledge of the equities. And her extremely limited knowledge of poker could be the reason she doesn't realize that this is a terrible spot to choose to cheat.

A rando thief isn't in a social relationship with the people they steal from. It's not even remotely close to the same thing. In poker an honest person may give money back. Kevin Hart did it in the famous hand when he accidentally won after misreading his cards. Someone once told me “you can’t bluff an idiot” I don’t see how she could have cheated. I think she really just didn’t care about the $ because she was backed by her bf and thought Garrett was bluffing also, which he was.
That seems the most plausible explanation to me. At the end of the day, there's no evidence she cheated. Going all in with a dumb hand happens all the time, just what's weird is the amount of money involved.
I’ve been a poker dealer for 10+ years and although this hand is crazy. I have seen things like this happen many times, the only difference is the amount of money is much lower. No one talks about cheating or donk calls when the all in is say.. $100.00. I have seen people call All-Ins in this type of scenario many times and win. The only difference is the call is under 1k. Either way the money shouldn’t be the biggest reason this call is crazy. you don’t know how much is a lot or a little to someone. My point is that people make these crazy plays all the time. It is not unheard of.
But this is not some random player, this is meant to be a top professional. She even said that she thought he was bluffing with Ace high, that was her defence. Ace high beats her in that spot... There is nothing that she can beat, except the hand that he has. The pot was so small as well that no top pro would call off a 110k with just J 4 high...
@@willingcube5713 If she actually did misread her hand, J 3 beats ace high. I think there is a real possibility, she thought she had J 3, just because she looked before, doesn't mean she knew she didn't have a pair. She is also not a top professional, she is clearly very bad.
..and you sir, are the only one I can believe. You've seen thousands of hands and people. She just thought he had bugger all and wanted to show him up, and ran it twice as insurance that the most she could have got was a chop.
She doesn’t seem like a top professional.. she just lucky she has a boyfriend to roll her in this high stakes game. She literally rolled over a full house and called it 2 pairs. "... or donk calls when the all in is say.. $100.00" LOL? Where I play online, 100NL+ is often the higher end (even if there is 200NL and 400NL), and even at 10-30NL, or what you will probably all qualify as a low stake tourney, they are considered donk calls, including by myself. Heck, way better call than this, calling what 100BB-200BB+ ou need to justify it or have an insane read on people? But then I have call at 100-200-400NL with under-pair, etc for such BBs and I was like WTF when they river me (yeah the donks always hits!). When it is a tourney, even below 20$, I wonder if the person just want to go sleep or leave when something like this happen. If someone shove first, OK, but when you call, that much, with only J high the way it was played. You either just want to see, your are coocoo (that include some who drinks or consume other stuff and will play very different poker, I have heard couple of stories of those players and there are ton of gamblers who tend to consume, sometime I wonder if it is not more than average joe, but I can't rationally tell with stats). AND if, if it is cheating... then like Polk say, some criminal do weird shit. Even scammer online, they are so obvious to see from 10 miles, I almost wonder if they try to eliminate smart people doing so... because once in a while you hear of someone who got caught, sent money over the net with a weird story, etc. If I was doing something bad, such stuff would be handcrafted carefully, thinking it over and over, etc. (not saying I won't do mistake, but if I aim for very big, with camera on me, etc. -- gotta make it as plausible as possible).
I don't know either one of them personally, but Garrett seems like such an honest, stand-up guy. He's even told a player that he was beat, to save him money. She is super sketchy, and clearly lying.
None of her reasons make any 0 whatsoever. She didn't give any good explanation on how she read him like she claims she did. A hero call with Jack 4 offsuit is completely absurd
If a pro made this call, they would be considerd great. Look up Stu ungar 10 high call, or more recently elky Q high call. Because she’s an Amateur nobody can get their head it so cheating is the conclusions they make. It’s also important to know that before she made the call she was behind with 47% for her hand to hold up. The only way anybody can logically say this is cheating would have to imply she would know what the River card (both of them!) was going to be. How could she possibly know this? Any ideas? Her explanation of the hand is very odd, but why would a cheat run their mouth at all and I’ve situation like that?
Knew what instantly? Make the specific allegation of cheating. How did she cheat? Why pick the worst spot TO cheat? And while according to you she was cheating, why run out 2 separate river cards? There’s literally zero actual evidence of cheating thus far. None. And the hand has been analyzed for 2 straight days by the entirety of poker internet.
@@PiotrMys uuuhhhhh… k… Now try being specific. How was she cheating? And for the record if she somehow saw his hole cards, which is highly unlikely because you’d have to be insane to put that much money into a pot with those equities, that’s not cheating. But you’re claiming she was cheating and knew that she’d somehow scoop TWO separate run outs. How? Precisely how?

There's a hand earlier in the stream between Rip and Robbi, where they both have AQ. You'll notice that they soft play each other on that particular hand. @@pokergodyoutube It would not be unreasonable to assume that. It would be interesting to see a full table view of that hand again between Garrett and Robbi, to see what others on the table are doing/saying. I'm not sure if a full table angle exists, though.
@@ryanshaw7113 He did. And then he got downright verbally abusive with Garrett as Garrett was leaving the casino (you can hear him yelling at Gman in the outer room even though the doors are closed). Definitely something not right here.

"little bit of a straight draw and I have blockers" haha. "I had you on ace high" so I knew I was losing dead and called your all in anyway. this is priceless.
This is a tough spot. I'm fairly certain she was cheating, but we get into dangerous territory when we start making firm accusations without evidence. It can potentially ruin someone's career, like what is currently happening in chess with Niemann. I DO think it's fair to call it out as suspicious and call for a more in-depth review, but I don't think it's fair to call it cheating until we have solid evidence.
She can’t even explain coherently why she called off $109k with J high. If it’s not cheating then I want to know how she did that. She keeps saying she had blockers. Doesn’t that mean Garrett wouldn’t be on a flush draw then? And she thought he had Ace high, which means she’s calling it off knowing she’s beat. None of this makes sense.
I dealt poker at nursing homes. It was a nice way to make a few bucks using my poker dealing abilities but also not be surrounded by the negative things and and people we all see at casinos. One elderly woman didn't know what she was doing, which was typical, but she was smiling the whole time as she called a pre-flop raise and bets on all streets including an all-in on the river. The guy had Aces (he was the rare senior who had a clue) and I don't recall what she had but it was a trash hand that did not have anything on the river. As I was pushing the man the pot after I said something like "Aces holds up against a Jack high," she looked at me and, still smiling, said "I was bluffing!" This hand reminded me of that for some reason.
she prob thought Gman would just call the check raise on the turn, knowing the runout and panning to fire the river and get Gman to fold. Hand didnt go as planned , but yes she is cheating
Any woman that shows up at a poker table with a tight fitting bra/shirt is already trying to game the table. She is trying to use her sexuality as an advantage to make her opponents less confident and aggressive.
I'm definitely in the camp of leaning that she did not cheat. Your argument about "why did she give the money back"? is off IMO, she gave a very plausible explanation as to why she gave it back. When you also consider the universal consensus is giving the money back makes you look more guilty, I just don't see this as any evidence of guilt (or evidence of innocence). I also don't like your argument that because the hand is absurd, we should lean on the side of suspicion. I agree with your point that it's a bizarre hand even for the fishiest of fish, but i tend to lean towards the easiest explanation -- and that explanation is that she's just dumb and/or emotional. Very tunnel vision thinking of "I want to win this hand vs this guy". Even a semi-intelligent cheater would be able to realize calling off with J4o for 250k is a massive red flag if you are in fact cheating. Yes, cheaters manage to get themselves caught all of the time so it's possible they were dumb about it, but I'm going with what is "more likely" from the information presented at the moment.
Your explanation makes sense, but I don't think she is a dumb poker player. As Garrett alluded to in this statement on Twitter, Robbi is a competent enough player to realize that calling with J high on that board is absurd. I tend to agree with him, as I watched the streams where Robbi was playing. She's definitely not a great player, but I thought she clearly knew how to play the game (to an extent). However, just because she is not a dumb poker player doesn't mean she is not a dumb person in other aspects. If she was indeed cheating, she was dumb to choose a spot where her play might be flagged as suspicious. She clearly overlooked the consequences of winning with such a dicey hand.
Giving the money back is weird either way but what nobody talks about is a cheater is a sociopathic narcissist. Not only do they not care about other people, they'd probably be proud of themselves for getting away with it. We see this time and time again in the business world. They steal with no regrets. That type of person wouldn't give the money back. He talks about cheaters/criminals who do dumb things and get caught. Sure, but how many of them go "lulz u got me!" Like, none? They maintain innocence until the end.
Doug, you’re missing some info: she had J3 the hand before this one and the board was eerily identical. She could’ve easily thought she had J3. Many people “check their cards” but aren’t really looking at them but it’s more of a nervous tick. Also, the person does NOT ask if she has a 3. They ask “do you have POCKET 3s”. All of this on top of the fact that she’s clearly a fish and saw him bluff 300k into Andy with nothing the night before, she seemed desperate to not get “out played” although the logic is really bad
Seriously this is EXACTLY the things that lead to reasonable doubt around cheating. Doug's already made up his mind. See how he dismissed the intimidation part. First part of this video is extremely biased.
WRONG! After she was asked if she had pocket 3s, she WAS also asked (immediately after), by Mike or Andy, "you have a 3 in your hand" ,she shakes her head no.. again, she IS DEFINITELY ASKED IF SHE HAS A 3 IN HER HAND. The answer is no. Bottom line. SHE KNEW SHE HAD J4, end of fkn story noobs.
It’s also hard to think clearly when you’re obviously not in your environment and being accused of cheating on live tv while having to also explain why you did what you did.
There is a very reasonable argument to make that she was embarrassed about a brainless call and then when pushed couldn't explain why she did what she did. There are some players who play entirely on feel. Being embarrassed she doubles down and makes up any lie on the spot to save face. Having said all that, she has played a lot of poker, based on her results in that long list of tournaments from the video. I found it incredibly hard to believe that someone who has played that much poker would make an all-in with jack high there. So while i can think of reasonable explanations for her word salad, it seems almost impossible how someone with that many hours of play under their belt could possibly make that call.
@@absolutedisgrace Agreed. For that much money. Crazy. I do think watching Garret play, assuming you have, he is more likely to 3-bet jam there with exactly the sort of hand he has, that being said, she has a J for a 100k call. I don't know how anyone can call in that spot. She shouldn't have played the hand to begin with. Seriously. If she hadn't found a reason to fold pre with junk, she has now.
Why Garret expects other players Fold when he goes all in? In this case, Robbi had no Fear! Blame yourself Mr Garret !!! Shame on you and Stop crying ! Be a Man !
Look at that smug look @ 11:06 CHEATING pure and simple. How can you be confident in that spot? You have J 4 !? I could see that face after a jam where Garrett has a tough decision to make. But HE JAMMED. You're just calling so WTF??? That confidence comes from "I LITERALLY KNOW THE 2 EXACT CARDS IN YOUR HAND".
This hand is so wild I don't even know what to say. Literally there is no way to justify her call there without the possibility of cheating. You can't blame ignorance.. There is literally no way anyone EVER makes that call!!
First of all, you’re looking good Doug! Secondly, I think this is a very objective insight. Especially from someone who was cheated before. I agree. This is the most insane hand ever recorded. In times like this I like to remind myself of a simple truth. If it’s too good to be true, it usually is.
The thing for me is even if she does know his cards you should fold that turn… and you damn sure shouldn’t run it twice because you’re losing money most of the time. The only way she could make that call even against 78 of clubs is if you know the dealer is in on it.
If she knows the cards, she doesn't necessarily know the percentages, only that she is ahead, and she also wouldn't know the mucked cards which impact the percentages.
@@E17-v1o You don't count mucked cards when calculating percentages because you don't know what has actually been folded. They can adjust percentages on live broadcasts because we know what's been folded and what is still left in the deck. As a player at the table you have to consider that the entire deck is still in play when calculating your percentages.
tbh, I'm not too concerned about the alleged cheating, because clearly the bigger issue right here is Robbi's plastic surgery job... those lips and that nose are a crime
Garrett wasn't cheated. Robbie is just a fish who made a dumb play that worked out. Garrett should give the loot back without concrete evidence of cheating.
So I agree with your final statement. This is an insane hand and we really don’t know. I actually lean a little more to the “she maybe didn’t cheat” camp and here’s why. 1. I’ve seen UA-cam players who are suddenly playing higher stakes make the same kind of ridiculous plays and both be wrong and right. They know just enough to think “It’d be sick if I’m right here” but not enough (most times) to explain the play in the long run as a strategic maneuver. 2. Her being bankrolled by her bf actually makes it MORE likely to me that she’d give the money back. If he’s funding her play and she’s flustered and felt threatened, in the moment she might’ve agreed to give it back and did because she felt bad, felt threatened, and it wasn’t her money she was playing with anyway and just didn’t want people to think she cheated. And then regretted giving it back once she had a little distance. Now I will say what makes me think she might’ve is the lies around not knowing her hand and the line about “even offstream” owning Garrett. That’s definitely not a normal thing to say. But honestly, she seems like she’s luckboxing it a bit. She honestly seems like she’s studied a little bit of higher level theory and is trying high level plays in crazy situations. It is totally possible that she was cheating and that would also make sense, but given what’s here I can’t say it’s more likely that she was cheating than not. Great video, @Doug Polk Poker!
I’m still 50-50 and I hate it lol. If you want to go down the rabbit hole a little more, read Garrett’s tweets about the situation. One thing is for sure tho… she ain’t that bright 😂.
This is a complicated situation. On one hand you have the "acting d*mb" person who calls "whatever" and just happens to win... which you can defend because you think "how the heck is she cheating? Because she won a hand she should have folded? It's poker! You play against the man, not his cards". On the other, 1) She keeps excusing herself for her calls and 2) She just returns the money she won to the guy as if she doesn't wanna be looked into and wants this to be over with. If I won 200k pot fair and square but playing a d*mb pair of cards (which happens), there is no way I would return it. The person accusing me of cheating would seem salty to me and I would feel insulted when accused!!! I beat you, you insult me and I'll give you the money that I just won? Heckkkkkkk NO! So due to her actions post-game, I believe she cheated.

My first reaction was that she was very likely to be cheating. This is outside of the realm of "a fish making a crazy call" and well into "I don't know what the rules of the game are" territory. However, there was something that caught my attention. She said "I thought you had ace high" which her hand still loses to. I think it was a brief moment of accidental honesty about what her thoughts were when she made the play because she actually did misread her hand thinking she had a pair. Then again, that doesn't mean she wasn't also cheating and just misread her hand as well
Zero chance she misread. She told Garrett she thought he had Ace high, and he said so why would you call with Jack high? IF SHE THOUGHT SHE HAD A 3 in the hole, SHE WOULD"VE SAID IT AT THAT MOMENT, because her saying I thought I had a pair of 3s, I misread my hand, is more reasonable, and believable IN THAT MOMENT. If that was the case, you wouldn't have to even think about it. You would've just said that. Not wait 30min later after everyone is discussing possibilities and then you say you misread it. She NEVER once even says what she thought Garrett had. It's easy if you're telling the truth to say I put you on mid suited connectors, there were lots of draws, and I thought you had missed up until then. But she never says that. She was asked by either Eric or Adam once she called if she had a pair/pocket 3s and she says no. When Garrett asks if she has a pair, she says "you give me that much credit??" WHY wouldn't she just say 'yes' if she thought she had 3s? She had already called at that point. She could've said yes without even saying which pair and that would be fine, but she makes a comment as tho she has no pair. And if you win fair and square you don't EVER, EVER, EVER give the money back, especially the "cash game king"/multimillionaire, Garrett. Oh, and RIP was livid she gave it back because he's staking her. So she just gave back a huge chunk of his profit for the evening. Lastly, if she really is just this f'ing dumb, because that's the only alternative here, how in the world has she convinced this RIP guy to stake her in the highest cash game in the world? Even her body language and the way she was constantly touching herself like a total weirdo putting her hand at one point inside her shirt (if you can call it that) between her fake tits screams "I'm here to distract you! Notice me and don't notice what I'm doing to you!"
Even women who are legitimately attractive and distracting because of their beauty do not conduct themselves in this manner when they are even remotely thinking about the actions they are taking.

I noticed this too, she's saying she's blocking one of his SF outs which she is but that's only relevant if he has that exact hand

He didn’t have 8 high. He had a straight flush draw. An extremely valuable hand. She had J high and nothing but J high. Learn poker
Something is totally up.
well said
Meh, you can say the same about him. He didnt react like he lost a big pot. She's an amateur, made an amateur move and got lucky.
@@aswerty911 We've seen Garret reacting to losing huge pots in earlier streams. He handles them like a true pro.

He also stood up and took a bow congratulating her calling her mam, as if he didn't know her.

@@G0DofRock check Jonathan's longer analysis today. I rewatched the hand a bunch of times and I honestly think she's just super lucky with a really weak bluff catcher. The more I see it, the more I think she actually knows he has a bluff but isn't sure if it's with a Broadway draw or the low end. In this case her blocker Jack makes Garrett's actual hand more likely. We don't know for sure but I feel like she deserves the benefit of the doubt.
I think a lot of the guys out there aren't really getting how intimidating in general it can be as a woman in that world, and even if Garrett was being polite he pressured her to return money, in what was one of the craziest things ever in live poker. That seems the most plausible explanation to me. At the end of the day, there's no evidence she cheated. Going all in with a dumb hand happens all the time, just what's weird is the amount of money involved.
What a joke !! She makes a bad call and loses the hand “She’s a fish”…But if She makes a bad call and wins “She’s cheating” !! Niceeeee !! 👍🏼
"I thought you had Ace high."
Garrett: "So why call with Jack high?"
Exactly
🤣
If not for this exchange of words I would have thought she's just a shitty player that got lucky. But that statement is very damning
But even with that being said, pros still make mistakes, misreading your hand is possible at any stage in your poker career. And who knows, maybe she’s a stoner, she seems to make some questionable plays/moves. Even she’s confused about.
"... or donk calls when the all in is say.. $100.00"
LOL?

But Hans also has a few history of cheating, so fuk him
Only way she was cheating was if Hustler Casino was in on it. or her boyfriend/sponsor sitting at the table signaled for her to call
She can’t even explain coherently why she called off $109k with J high. If it’s not cheating then I want to know how she did that. She keeps saying she had blockers.
As I was pushing the man the pot after I said something like "Aces holds up against a Jack high," she looked at me and, still smiling, said "I was bluffing!"
This hand reminded me of that for some reason.

She’s been playing for over 5 years and you lean that she’s dumb in poker? Sorry, but what a misogynistic approach.
"I want to win this hand vs this guy" so I'm gonna call an all in with J high??? Dumb or not it doesnt make any sense...!
Dumb people don’t play high stakes poker.
Dude, you're also missing some info where Gman asked if she had a small pair and how she replied. lol.
@@phueanhviet6846 She may have interpreted that as in her hand. It's possible she doesn't want to say she has J3.
You sir caught all the shit Doug missed that I thought of too!!! Haha
Crazy.
@@E17-v1o You don't count mucked cards when calculating percentages because you don't know what has actually been folded. tbh, I'm not too concerned about the alleged cheating, because clearly the bigger issue right here is Robbi's plastic surgery job... those lips and that nose are a crime

My only complaint about this video is Doug isn’t in a tank top.
Then again, that doesn't mean she wasn't also cheating and just misread her hand as well
Ya but she checked her hand for a good 10 seconds before she called
A ace high from the ace on the river , she doesn’t lose to that ace
Like wtf is going on?
