Well produced and very informative videos with a cool angle to shredding. I'm writing this comment in June 2024 when the channel has approx. 6000 subs. Within a couple of years there will be hundreds of thousands, mark my words. Thank you so much for this awesome content.
Im aggreing to that too I remember watching paul david when his subs are below 100k, but i knew he would make a million becauss of how informative his content are
I just discovered your channel as well (Aug 2024). You have a great way of really explaining ideas and techniques and making customized exercises geared in driving them to memory. I predict great things as well. I have been a guitar teacher off and on for 30 years and can honestly say you are one of the best instructors I’ve witnessed! 🎸🎸👏🏼👏🏼
Great information here! Kudos to a really well produced video. I appreciate the quick pace, great balance between narration and playing volume, useful camera angles. Well done! Cheers!
Thanks so much for appreciating these things! I've put an almost ridiculous amount of time into my production, its great to see it being appreciated :)
As a lifelong Nuno fan, i can say this the most packed twelve minute of educational material about Nuno's playing. Awesome work. Clear, to the point, exercises and advice to execute them, tabs. Stellar job! I yad never heard of the first technique where only open notes are picked. Thanks.
Son of a B! I'm 50 yrs. old and started cutting my teeth on guitar as a kid, by sitting in my bedroom for hours on end learning riffs from that first Extreem album when it first came out. And only now, all these years later, do I realize that the way I learned to play that was dead wrong and continued to do so all these freakin years, LMFAO! I always felt like something was lacking when I would play the solo for that tune and it ALWAYS bugged the hell out of me, but I would dismiss and just accept that I couldn't make it sound quite the same because well....... I'm just NOT Nuno. I now realize not only am I not Nuno, but I'm also a complete dumbass!!!!🤣 Can't thank you enough for sharing this, great upload and great playing, my friend! I'm now subscribed!
Wow awesome lesson! Love Nuno an Extreme. Thank you for breaking down these licks, slowing them down and showing examples/tabs. You have a new follower.
Thank you very very much.... it took me many years to break the pieces of Nuno's licks. As a grown up boys before UA-cam was born I really appreciate this.
There are tons of clickbait guitar vids out there - this was not one of them! Love Nuno, you broke it down in a way that's accessible for even us beginner-ish shred wannabes. Thank you! Subbed.
That's the best video I've ever seen about Nuno's technique and I've been playing guitar for 30 years! Thank you so much for your excellent pedagogy and your sense of humor!
This must have been the most useful guitar video I've seen in a VERY LONG time. No blah blahs wasting my time, no stupid exercises that have no point or are the same old sh^&t. Bravo my friend! Subbed!
My first video from this channel. Incredibly informative for the intermediate guitarist with no fluff. Loved the exercises as well. As others say, keep it up brother and this channel will take off. Thank you so much!
Tabs and BTs for free, and still dislikes?? Why? I don't get it. Why do people suck so much? Thank you for your channel. Just found it tonight on a Nuno run. Glad to be subbed. Haters will turn to dust and wither...
This channel has it. Perfect. You will have that Silver Play button as soon as the algo picks you up. I need more of what is in your brain. Keep making videos brother. PS: For future video ideas: How you take 3 or 4 of Nuno's best techniques and seamlessly integrate them into your own original solo should be an ongoing series (pillar) on your channel. You could cycle through all the great great players, but if you would also highlight your thought process on how you connect these legendary techniques with melodic interludes this would be ideal, for me at least. I can play fast, and I can play with feel, but I struggle composing the two into a beautiful solo. Finally, please keep sharing the tips and shortcuts you've discovered to solve picking, fretting, coordination difficulties within techniques. That stuff is gold.
Thanks so much! I do hope i get to place a silver play button with my whiskey collection! i take a fair amount of time composing those "final solos", i'm glad they get appreciated haha. I'll think about doing more longer videos / deeper dives into my process for those and for technique in future. thanks for the ideas :D
Holy crap that was amazing. What was Nuno magic voodoo can't figure out WTF was he doing there. You broke it down to where i can learn it! Might take months, years, but I'll learn. Thank you. Subbed!😎🎸🤘🌴
First of all, excellent lesson. The way you break things down to a digestible form is the perfect way to get any guitar part up-to-tempo fairly quickly, and unfortunately it’s grossly under-taught in the guitar community. Secondly, what are you using for tone here? Sounds great man
Congratulations! And thanks a lot for a superb, very accurate and good made video! A detailed insight into the styles of another two great guitarists: Steve Howe and Alex Lifeson would be highly appreciated. Greetings from Germany!
@@fulltimeguitar I enjoy such videos very much. Due to overplaying, I developed arhrosis in both thumbs and I am giving guitar and bass tuition and play only in my recording studio. Until now, I did not find any doctor able to give me a solution. Anyway, I upload my music regularly to my UA-cam Channel.
Big thanks, greatest 12 minutes on YT in a long while, clear info and 0% bs
Glad you enjoyed it! more on the way soon :D
