1:40 the "Zakk Wylde riff" i have heard referred to as " Snap Picking" by Andy James. or with an english accent " Snop picking" i had to rewind the A.J. video to figure out wtf he said😅
Hi sir, i must say you have quality contents here, may I ask if you can also share insights about playing blues artists such as BB King SRV and John mayer
The "problem" with alternate picking, while generally easier to master, becomes clear when playing three notes per string - when playing D U D and then switch to another string, you now have to go past the string you need to pick next in order to maintain the D U D U pattern.
IMHO: You can get economy picking more even with more practice…and it can go wayyyyyy faster…🎉🎉🎉…alternate picking has been throughly explored and you’re going to earn every note.
An illusion is something that is not real, although it appears to be. A trick is something that looks much more difficult than it actually is. I hope the word you are looking for is `trick`, not `illusion` 😉
Backticks are used in programming languages. Quotation marks are used to quote words. I hope the punctuation symbol you are looking for is a quotation mark, not a backtick. 😉
Congratulations brother. It looks like you’ve exploded with this video. I followed. I hope for much more success. Keep the great content coming

Great stuff, Dave. Can you talk about what picks you use and how you hold the pick to keep it in a consistent position?

But doesn't Zakk play 3 - 1?
What bpm do you think is something to try for on the zak Wylde 2 note on two string exercise
for 16th notes 130bpm is intermediate, 160 bpm and beyond is fast.
for 16th note triplets. 120bpm is a good goal.
Very good, brother! I am inspired to practice ;)
thats not an illusion😆
why cant guitar players move beyond pentatonic?
Because they’re useful
