The "Allies" shot every animal at the local zoo in Dresden on the first night of their fire bombing campaign. Why do they enjoy killing innocent animals?
Ethan Allen ...if Koresh was boinking kids, which there is no proof of, then the local/state police should’ve got a warrant and arrested him. Since when is the answer to child molestation to go in and kill all the victims, and also kill the perpetrator without a trial? This was a military action taken against American citizens on American soil, plain and simple.
The ATF agents didn't "try to enter", they charged up in black unmarked vehicles, wearing full SWAT tactical gear, carrying scaling ladders, cameras rolling and got shot to pieces by the Koresh members inside the house. The local Sheriff told the Feds prior to the raid that he could get Koresh to come to his office but they refused the offer. The raid was a total FU beginning with the fact that the ATF got lost, asked a local for directions who then told the Davidian compound that federal company was coming. This had nothing to do with suspected pedophilia as Federal Attorney General Reno stated and everything to do with the Feds wanting to make a point to militia groups.

The warrant. David Koresh jogged several times a week with other members of the congregation. He could have been served easily without incident or any danger to law enforcement. As I recall the warrant was over two fully automatic weapons which could have classed them as machine guns. I was talking with a dentist at a conference. He admitted that the largest per capita holders of tax stamps for machine guns in the United States were his fellow dentists. One dentist from California overhearing this conversation looked like he was beginning to have a coronary. Began hyper-ventilating. However culturally shocking it is to the audience, it is perfectly legal within the United States to own a machine gun; as long as you pay the tax, purchase the tax stamp. @@ethanallen2889 David Hardy, who had worked for a decade as a U.S. Interior Department lawyer, unearthed through a Freedom of Information request an ATF “report of investigation” of two undercover agents, who had moved in across from Mount Carmel. They went shooting with Koresh eight days before the raid, an easy opportunity to arrest him if they had wanted to. Can't make this stuff up, just like it cannot be made up that you are ignorant of the facts, you Ethan Allen are wholly ignorant of the facts. ua-cam.com/video/7i1rW-iW554/v-deo.html
They made the claim there was illegal weapons trade, that they were running a drug operation, and sexual abuse towards children. However, all of these allegations were confirmed to be FALSE! The guns were legally purchased, several members confirmed David never used drugs nor encouraged the distribution of illegal drugs, and as far as sexual abuse... there was a form of child discipline that took place at the compound, but David was accused of this by former Branch Davidians a year before the raid took place and there was no evidence to convict him. So, where did the federal government get this information from? And how did they convince a judge to get them a search warrant?
@LVhasAIDS Were you aware no ballistics were entered into evidence on their deaths at trial? Bit of a problem, irregularity. Why would that be, LV? Hard as you may find this to accept, the possibility has never been eliminated those were all "friendly fire" incidents. One thing to observe. BATF are not, were not, Special Forces. You get near 80 agents out there going full auto with minimal training on flanking and field of fire issues. Add in weapons fire from helicopters overhead. 10,000 rounds expended in a very short time into a light frame building . . or through a light frame building perhaps? The BIG PROBLEM is that this kaka plan was executed in the first place. Five FBI agents in one Crown Vic arrested John Gotti the crime boss. If you're going to stage a media event, give the majority of the doofs blanks. As it was the whole lot of them expended their last round. If the Davidians had a mind to, they could have stepped outside and taken 80 agents down. Instead they agreed to a cease fire, for what good that did them. Just trying to give some sense of how completely poorly this was executed.
All of those children's names. I cried my eyes out watching the WACO miniseries which showed the mothers trying to cover their babies with their own bodies to protect them from fire. Absolutely heart breaking. The government found themselves not at fault for the fire, despite every other instance where they had used tear gas always resulted in fires.
What the miniseries didn't show you was their husbands pouring Coleman oil in the hallways and on hay piles and lighting the compound on fire - which the surveillance tapes proved they did. The government sucks, but these people weren't angels. You don't stockpile guns if you're not looking for a fight and you don't move your kids into a compound run by a pedophile who's collecting child brides to repopulate the Earth after "the end times."
@@jpollackauthor There is nothing wrong with stockpiling guns, it has been proven that the Davidians did not start the fire and him being a pediphile was never proven. I'm not saying the guy was right but I do believe he believed he was hearing God talk to him. The feds had no reason to do things how they did. They tear gassed in hopes that the mothers would get there kids out if there. They tortured children as bait. They shot at people trying to run out of the burning building. They shot an unarmed man. They should all have been punished.
One of the FBI snipers pulling triggers in Waco was also the sniper that killed Randy Weavers wife at Ruby Ridge. Now he's on the board at the Magpul company. Why he isn't in prison baffles me.
I long ago lost my trust, hope, respect of ANY government entity, officials and or leader. Situation like Waco, ruby ridge etc have only solidified my feeling about all this countries government entities.
The government didn’t set the building on fire.🙄 if u watch all the documents the few children that he allowed to leave drew pictures of the compound burning down before it even did. when investigators asked the kids what the drawings meant they said “you’ll find out.” it was his plan from the beginning to burn it down if that was the only option left. theres voice recording of David saying “pour the fuel” the fuel cans where found inside the Remains of the burnt building. It’s documented proof of the burnt up fuels cans being found from inside the remains of the burnt building. people need to research everything before they give false accusations.
"Even if he was wrong"? Are we really considering the possibility that child-rape is not wrong? If he had a raped a 12 year old boy and every adult in the compound had condoned it we wouldn't be debating "if he was wrong." Fuck that. Children deserve a childhood free of rape, even girls, you asshole.
@@balthasardenner5216 Clearly everyone here knows he was no saint. He had some sick ways and to be honest most religious leaders seem to be preying on the young now. In spite of what David has done he didn't deserve to die how he did. None of them deserved it. And if you feel any different then your sick.
I went through training with the Dept. Of Corrections, one of the topics we discussed was the usage of CS gas which is what the ATF used. You can't just pump CS into a building indiscriminately, that alone can kill people. Additionally, it can become combustible in high concentrations and with the introduction of incindiary devices (FBI admitted to utilizing flash bangs while pumping CS into their compound). This was all over the accusation of 2 fully automatic weapons that at the time of the siege there was NO EVIDENCE SUPPORTING THEIR EXISTENCE ON THE PROPERTY. The ATF carried out this failure to redeem themselves after the murders of Randy Weaver's son and wife some 8 months prior at Ruby Ridge. Gun's don't kill people, THE FEDS DO
Thunder Saber CS gas. Only to be used outdoors to disperse riot crowds. A trained soldier who has to be gassed can't even deal with it let alone children.
You need to do MUCH better research, Mr. Bell. Your statements reflect the "official" version of what happened, which is not what really happened! Do your homework!
I will never forget the scene on the television when I walked into my house. My Father was watching T.V. very intensely, so I glanced at the screen to see what he was focused on. I was shocked to see a tank that was battering the side of a building; trying to knock it down. People were screaming, there was chaos, and I assumed it was taking place in another country during a political upheavel of some sort. I turned my head and asked my Dad "what country is this taking place in?" He answered "Texas". I was shocked. I feel very strongly about the incident and feel very badly for the people who were burned to death, including the little girl who was clutching a Bible in her hand when she was set aflame. The research I did into this matter made my soul cringe at the sight of the carnage. This was a terrible act committed by the government. A Cult? Almost all of the mainstream religions fit the definition. It was an considered an unpopular "cult" by the government but the people were well liked by the neighbors and town.
They were a cult, not unlike that of most sects of the Abrahamic religions, but they were definitely on the extreme end, regardless of how you may perceive the events that unfolded, the fact remains that among many other things they definitely perpetuated, condoned, and participated in pedophillia...not to mention that they were responsible for the well-being of 23 innocent children in their care who they CHOSE to let burn to death or shot them in the head, instead of releasing them for their safety and tensions mounted..them and them alone are the murders of those children. If some secular person allowed a child to be put in danger then you would say they were responsible..but all of a sudden since “GOD” told them it was their destiny it’s okay...if there is a hell I hope they are in it suffering terribly.
Don't Google what happened. The FBI covered this whole thing up. Your government MURDERED WOMEN CHILDEREN AND MEN. They killed a teenager on a tower. The ATF started the fires in the building and shot people trying to escape. There's a little thing called freedom of religion. The Branch Davidians had been a CONGREGATION for decades. What's creepy and chilling is you are misinformed and biased against innocent people. THE ATF AND THE FBI MIHANDLED AND RAILROADED THESE PEOPLE. Oh gosh, they were so weird. And the whole stockpiling of weapons BS? They.ate in TEXAS...they were also liscensed gun dealers. Ask the Sherriff..he used to use their shooting range. Ask the local coroner why the government confiscated bodies?. And then they bulldozed the whole c.f. time scene. Hmmm. Your naive and misinformed.
I think the property is now owned by the anti-Koresh faction, which is led by the Roden's who was in a rival with Koresh. They may have a more sympathetic viewpoint toward the law enforcement than Koresh did.
Koresh may have been a cult leader but those poor children and other followers didn’t deserve such a horrible death. The government handled the whole situation wrong, and it’s a shame all those who died.
I went there 12 years ago and all the tunnels were exposed but full of water, and the ground all around it and a few trees were still pretty charred! You have to drive miles and miles rough dirt roads just to get to it, and its anything but a peaceful place! They DID worship Koresh. He claimed to be "The Lamb" of the Bible, a title frequently ascribed to Jesus Christ. The only one who could open the Seven Seals in Revelation. Koresh put himself in that position and his followers did not question it. They willingly went along with it and were prepared to die for him and their cause. These are well-established facts, and they can be found in any number of books on the cult.

Traveled there to contribute to the rebuilding fund and to personally assist. When I noticed NO cross shown on the blueprints, I asked about that was told they didn't seem to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior. Got on my motorcycle, drove the 5 hours back home, money still in my saddlebag

A lot of these people were looking for a place to belong. they fell for Koresh and his utterances. I saw a Aussie person who survived and still thinks David Koresh will be resurrected. This is Texas - I cannot expect any better from TX.
Good video. I do have an edit though. The Davidians that live there currently do not worship David Koresh. There was actually a Branch Davidian cult before Koresh joined and these people still follow those teachings.
Why exactly did they have to die? Who was under DIRECT threat? Wasnt the initial search warrant a knock warrant? You know very little about what happened there and its been proven in a court of law that FBI/ATF acted illegally.
Complete surprise to me that members of the group/cult are still there. I'm also surprised, Dan, that the site seems to be open to the public and that you and Will could walk around undisturbed. I noticed that the memorial with all those names and dates on it had rocks along the top like the Jewish custom of leaving stones on graves. I didn't follow the siege and fire when those events happened but I do remember them. I'm reminded of the Jonestown murders and suicides from 1979. I couldn't look at the newspaper photos for a week, they upset me that much.
apparently, Branch Davidian is an offshoot of Seventh Day Adventists I guess, and they've been around since at least the mid 50's. Koresh was just one of them that got a little carried away in the teachings, apparently. So they still exist just like the existed before Koresh, and probably these Davidians here are people that followed the same stuff Koresh did; possibly not.
Jonestown 1978 yes its similar but he had nowhere near the amount of members Jim Jones had(1000's) . Actually Jim Jones's son Stephan was going to try to get involved when this happened bc it was so similar and he thought he could help. :/
I was going to reply about the dissolved Koresh/Branch Davidian affiliation, but my response would've been too similar to this man's. But still, he's absolutely right. I visited the compound about a month ago, and the people that live there now DO NOT worship Koresh, or are waiting for his return. In fact, if you walk up to the church doors, they have a pamphlet that almost shames Koresh for thinking he was a prophet. Just wanted to clear that up. A very sad and fascinating place though, nonetheless. RIP to all the victims of that day.
I had to stop reading comments. This video stirred the crazy pot and they’re spilling over lol It was a cult & Dan was stating what he saw on the site. Ppl need to RELAX. We the people, will ensure they outlast the ATF. It's too corrupt a bureau at this point and must be disbanded by congress and the president at the earliest opportunity for the safety of everyone involved. Hopefully in 2025 this can finally be done.
Branch Davidians existed before David Koresh and is an offshoot of the Davidian Seventh-Day Adventist Church. So it's not that strange they still exist
Hey Dan, since you are traveling around the country filming, I would like to suggest a stop. The Ludlow Memorial, north of Trinidad Colorado. At the memorial there is a metal door leading to a basement. I will let you read about it. The memorial is in the middle of nowhere on the site of a ghost town. Creepy!
What is so creepy? It is so beautiful and peaceful there. If you had done your own research, you wouldnt be creeped out. The raid started with military force against a church with women and children in it on 2/28/93. Fifty one days later it was burned to the ground. Next time you visit try talking to someone. Then do an experiment. Call the ATF and try to talk to them. You will see thedifference real quick.

One, They don't worship David Koresh. The name existed long before David Koresh was even born. His name was changed to David. Two, ATF shot first. Trial proved this but, they were never punished. The government busted them because, they weren't paying taxes. First shots fired were ATF. Occupants shot back in self defense because, they never announced they were coming. No warrants either. It's actually legal to shoot a cop/s who arrive with force unannounced and unwarranted n Texas. That's what they did. There was no evidence of rape or child abuse. Just unregistered guns (passed down, donated) and tax evasion and the government didn't like it. Unnecessary force for the crime.
Corey M fact check: they weren't busted for Tax Evasion. they were fingered for reports of child abuse (which came up false), turning rifles automatic (which is a bs excuse), and intercepting a UPS shipment of Dummy Grenades. PD in Waco did get a proper search warrant but ATF did shoot first... then Burned down a compound full of innocent people. so what if they were religious nutjobs? they weren't hurting nobody and in the end, they were protecting they're Property. grim tale in American History but they won't DARE mention this in schools or even the Raid of Ruby Ridge, which resulted the death of an innocent pregnant woman and a few others.
This event should really be considered along with Ruby Ridge. I don't believe they were stand alone events but rather an orchestrated series of events. The government didn't "botch" anything. This was planned and executed as planned.
Also the date that Waco happened is significant to American history, 19/20 April. Timothy McVeigh launched his bombing attack in Oklahoma city on that date also. It was a kind of protest at the way the Government carried out their assault on Waco. I saw a comment on a video recently where someone said that Timothy McVeigh was a survivor of Waco, I don't know how true that is.
I had no idea there were remaining members still living there. Are they actually living there on the old compound or do they live nearby? Did any come out to talk to you? I guess if the land is public, the members can't permanently live on that parcel of land.

WTF are you even on about?? Kartash was a nutcase, and McVey (equally nuts) sympathized with him. It's not the media's fault that both were completely psycho. My comment had nothing to do with politics, I'm not even old enough to remember OKC or Waco, I barely remember when McVey was executed. I'm just stating a fact that's been out there for 20+ years, that people on this cesspool of a website would understand if they'd just take off the tin foil hat for 10 fucking minutes and do their damn research.
I remember when the siege/massacre happened like it was yesterday. I had just moved into my first apartment and I was at Sears buying a few things and every TV in the electronics department was showing this on the news everyone in the store (or at least it felt like it) was gathered around the televisions watching the fire and a lot of people were crying thinking about all of those innocent little ones and how scared they must have been! It was such a sad situation. As much as David Koresch was whacked out of his mind there had to have been a different way this could have been resolved but then again I don’t think Koresch was going to let it happen any other way once it all started.
Talk about Haunted. If there is any truth to the theory that the termination of life in a traumatic way imprints the event or leaves behind the energy of the individual then this is the kind of situation where it would exist.

I went there about a year after it happened. The survivors had painted arrows showing scorch Mark's from incendiary devices and there was a trailer used as a small museum. I talked to many of them.
No matter how it all went down, or why, it was a tragedy. A friend visited the site, feeling fascinated by everything, but once on-site, he got an extremely strong vibe he described as "you shouldn't be here, it's time to leave."
Creepy vid Dan. Can't believe there are still followers. I remember this. Felt so bad for the children. Koresh was one sick dude, but it could have been handled so differently. I know a lot of the women wanted out and their kids, didn't have a chance. Sad place.
I am 55 and remember when that happened. I always thought it was wrong what the government did. I felt they could have arrested David Koresh somewhere like at a store.
Janet Reno's fault. She had no business butting in to the situation. They easily could have kept waiting them out. Always the children who end up paying for adults' ignorance and greed.
Yes. The ATF led the initial raid, and they had absolutely no jurisdiction over child welfare matters, which was the main justification Reno gave for launching the raid in the first place. Nobody was held accountable. It can happen to you...

They moved to Waco after that..as we all know.Your film means so much to me, Dan, because of the consequences of that "friendship" between my ex husband and David Koresh. I can agree with that. What frustrates me most is that these people followed him and were ignorant enough to not see any issues with what he taught. I know the government made a ton of mistakes, though. I don’t agree with how they addressed it by any means. I do think they needed to intervene in some way, though. And for the sex stuff... the fact that he said he would “take the burden of lust on himself so no one else had to” is insane. No one else was allowed to have sex. And they’re wives were taken away. But it all goes back to them following him at their own will.
Sam Hoover There was no evidence of child sexual abuse. It was a claim made by one person that has no backing by any evidence. If you want evidence, look into the sounds of rabbits being killed the government forces blared through loud speakers at night.
I never said the government didn’t make any mistakes. Or that they’re perfect. Also it’s all pretty open for debate as far as I’m concerned. There’s stories from both sides. You have your opinion, and I have mine. 👍🏻 And I’m fine with that.

Why didn't they just swoop him up at the grocery store? You have to ask that simple question. There is a reason why. Next step is to identify their primary narratives. When you hear the narrative then you will know the reason for the event.
This was a very interesting! I was very young when this went on. I have read stuff online and watched the videos of it. I was wondering what was still there. Did you see anyone that was living out there when you were there? What was with the big plastic containers that were for chemicals?
I remember when it happened. About to show my age, I was about to turn 12 a few months later. It was all over the news. Even to the point I asked I think my history teacher and my parents to explain what was going on. Both told me, "Don't worry, you are too young to understand." They made the claim there was illegal weapons trade, that they were running a drug operation, and sexual abuse towards children.

How would you all react if the a t f fired into your country church unannounced without warning?

I saw that place burn to the ground on live TV. It was a crazy story. I live about fifty miles from Waco.

Where are your FACTS taken from?

If some secular person allowed a child to be put in danger then you would say they were responsible..but all of a sudden since “GOD” told them it was their destiny it’s okay...if there is a hell I hope they are in it suffering terribly.

When I visited back in the 90s, you could walk the grounds after paying a small fee to a lady who lived there.

Those words will come up again, how will you answer?
Corey M I’m amazed. Absolutely everything you just said was completely wrong.
Amazing, almost everything you said here was incorrect.

It was such a sad situation. As much as David Koresch was whacked out of his mind there had to have been a different way this could have been resolved but then again I don’t think Koresch was going to let it happen any other way once it all started.

Y'all are a fabulous team! Your sensitivity in handling this particular video was really great. You've got a fabulous sense of humor and you know when scenes call for an altogether different tone. Thank you.My ex husband and his family were personal friends with David Koresh and went to church with him in Odessa, TX. They were friends with Koresh until Koresh was kicked out of that Seventh Day Adventist church for his radical behavior and beliefs. Shortly after that is when Koresh and his followers moved to just outside the Waco area and he (Koresh aka Vernon Howell) so they could "worship" and live as they wanted. They moved to Waco after that..as we all know.Your film means so much to me, Dan, because of the consequences of that "friendship" between my ex husband and David Koresh. I knew nothing of the Branch Dividian or of David Koresh or any family bonds or of their strange sexual ritualistic beliefs regarding children...none of this I knew before we were married, or even the first year or two of marriage. I would have run the other way.Now being divorced for close to 20 years, caring for my disabled 21 year old child that was sexually abused by not only her father, but by his whole family during visitation....she is permanently physically and mentally scarred... Your film helps me so much, Dan. NOT because I want to see where they died. It helps to see where they lived and worked and carried on with their every day business. They were terribly confused and sick and so on a wrong path--- just like my ex husband and his family. (They are still free by the way- I have boxes of evidence, spent 2 years trying to get them put in jail-- I know that God will take care of them though- at least my precious daughter is alive)Just thank you so very much for this film. I live in Houston, but have never had the opportunity to travel to Waco. Life has been rougher than usual lately; and your video really helped to heal some places that I didn't know needed healing. Thank you once again. Take care.Hugs and love to you dear Dan.Oh And please excuse any weird spelling or spacing on this. I'm sitting on my bed in the pitch dark black (so my daughter thinks I'm sleeping) typing on my Kindle and the kindle really wants to be the boss!Hugs- my real name is Wendy xo to you and Will
Govt officials should of and should still be prosecuted and sent to prison for this debacle!!!!
odd question -- what was the blue things around the pool?
50 gallon plastic barrels cut in half.
thank you
Happy 69th video on this channel DB!
do the davidians take new members ? I'd like to join .
they got funked, USA goverment had no purpose there, IMHO
Adam, great job being respectfull.
Frederick Norton OMG child abuse enabler detected!!!
@Ty Wert Now that one is understandable and I wouldn't bat an eyelash if they did.
I can't get this video to play. It is just a blank screen.
- what's creepy is what this government did to a group of people that were not really doing anything.
Conran Thomas - lol, I think burning children alive is pretty abusive, too.
+rickster348 It's sick and satanic what they did.
KCOWMOO - the religious group or the government?
+rickster348 The wicked government and there old burning child sacrifice ritual.
You do realise that the group was marrying underage girls, marrying more than one underaged girl, haveing children with them and abusing them right? that group was disgusting and doing numerous illegal things.
Just visited the compound today. There’s such a feeling of heaviness there. Many unanswered questions and unnecessary deaths.
do some more research and get your facts correct. since when are forks creepy?
Why didn't they just swoop him up at the grocery store? You have to ask that simple question. There is a reason why. Next step is to identify their primary narratives. When you hear the narrative then you will know the reason for the event.
This wasn’t even in Waco, it happened outside of Waco
This was a very interesting! I was very young when this went on. I have read stuff online and watched the videos of it. I was wondering what was still there. Did you see anyone that was living out there when you were there? What was with the big plastic containers that were for chemicals?
For water.
I remember when it happened. About to show my age, I was about to turn 12 a few months later. It was all over the news. Even to the point I asked I think my history teacher and my parents to explain what was going on. Both told me, "Don't worry, you are too young to understand." David Koresh was nuts and brainwashed people to believe in crazy stuff. It is sad people died, but kill kids is always insane no matter what the situation is.
Dara, it appears you're still too young to understand.
Dara sounds like the 1990's drooling tv addicts who saw nothing wrong with our govt firing at and attacking a country church, running over and desecrating graves, followed by burning American civilians alive.
I remember this all to well. I still think its hokey that the building just "Mysteriously" burst into flame.Yea Right! the people living there, even though they were misguided and or brainwashed did not deserve to burn to death at the hands of the ATF. men, woman and children died in that fire as well as infants.I hope some day they reopen the case and look very carefully at what really occurred and the responsible parties are dealt with accordingly
This video was unforking believable... I'll never forkget it.
You did a fantastic job with that video! You narrated it well. I also liked the fact that the background music was super low. It's irritating when you can't hear someone, due to background music. Great job and thank you for sharing with us. Thumbs up. ;-)
