You're right. The ending with the agents seen being remorseful wasn't until later after they had time to rethink what they did not during the burning was going on. Edit; plus the flag raising of the Stars & Stripes + underneath was the ATF flag, waving in the air. Which symbolized everything the Davidians saw in them (Babylonian Army) & how the public saw the agencies as an out of control gang of murders who really dropped the ball on this one.
Have you never watched any movie or show based on real event's? Literally ALL of them are dramatic interpretations....everyone should know this by now. It's not a documentary
I have been so extremely disappointed with these actors who have been some of my favorite from Boardwalk Empire. They participated in a series that makes the branch davidion's seem fine, when they obviously were quite the opposite. People have different beliefs regarding the situation, but for them to take a definite position that the FBI was at fault for the situation is a disgrace.
It's easier to accept the situation when they're just a bunch of mindless, brutal cultists, isn't it? Well, that's what Operation Showtime was all about.
One of the matters I truly enjoy about this platform is that anyone can comment anything! No matter how uneducated, illiterate, or brain damaged. I love it!
Just keep your head down and don't ask questions about why hundreds died on the alphabet agencies watches, hey? I don't like cults, but I believe in religious freedom. The Davidians did absolutely nothing to deserve the sort of response the ATF and FBI issued. If there was actual child abuse,, if there were actual weapons charges (that weren't set up by the ATF) then that deserved a proper investigation. The ATF used the cult as a budget justification and the FBI supported it. The actions of the siege only further radicalized men like Timothy Veigh and led to even more death.

All thr FBI had to do was leave and come back some other time some other way.If they made David think he won they would have eventually let there guard down.Once they removed David the followers would have given up.
The government hates anyone that they can't control.
Probably not.
But had the FBI simply empowered its own negotiators, they probably could have ended the siege peacefully.
Remember kids this is what happens when you mess with the tax man
Joy with a dictator.
An eye for an eye a tooth for a tooth. They will pay with interest for what they did.
Well that's exactly what Timothy McVeigh said so that's your company. Also....who? The people who did this are long gone...
Why they didnt cut the water and electric on them? They will come out instead of killing people and children
they cut water and electricity on the first day.
Oh Great! Get another heartthrob actor to convince everyone to watch and move along! Nothing to see here
Oh you're really attracted to him, I guess 😅
I found it heartbreaking how everyone stood up for a pedophile
The charges were never proven & were made by a bitter ex member. The CPS investigated 2x & found no proof that he was Pervin
rather frustrating how the feds have managed to sucker so many people into believing that fairy tale that David Koresh was a pedophile. David Koresh can't defend himself against this character assassination, special forces sniper put a bullet in his head.
People have slowly forgotten that part of this thing. There were literally no good guys in this, the ATF was just worse in how they resolved it.
Dude really couldn’t defend himself when he was besieged in a compound
Lol were was the ATF for Epstein's Island. If they hate pedos so much they should have shown up during one of his pizza parties
omg this is phucking scary. i'm petrified his tone. that soft michael jackson wouldn't hurt a fly roger your children despise women yearn for man tone. i think i'm impressed i'm not too sure.
this show, just like Dahmer, should not have been made. It's not a good thing to dramatize serious things such as this. The events of Waco were a complete tragedy that could have been avoided.
On the other hand, it is really interesting to see how they reenacted scenes that actually happened during Waco, it also does indeed help show the mistakes made by all parties involved
And if they weren't making it...they'd be saying Hollywood isn't making it because they don't wanna make the government look bad and buried the story. ...also that would go for any war story as well
Wow...David was probably even more evil than Papa Doc.
& the government letting kids burn is A-ok? Use a brain

Ok so slight problem here, the US doesn’t use leopard 1 tanks, that’s a German tank, they used M60A3 Pattons, don’t know why I had to point that out but I just got a bit irritated
Simple answers;
1) money
2) are they still in service or in operating order &/or is there parts scraped
3) whose permission do you have to go through plus shipping & insurance & the works...
I wished I were making this up.
It's a show, not a documentary. I mean that's like saying "hey Michael Shannon wasn't there!"
This show was obviously written by Hollywood types who have no idea what really happened and it shows
You're right.
Its David's fault for dying!
I know. How dare the filmmakers humanize the people massacred and burned alive by our government
They portrayed them as human beings, not 2 dimensional drones like you want them to be
It's easier to accept the situation when they're just a bunch of mindless, brutal cultists, isn't it?
So fukt up!
