Slight tip if you ever use the Starscourge Greatswords again, the jumping light attack actually does more damage than the heavy because it hits with both swords instead of just the right one. The heavy attack does more individual damage per hit but cumulatively the two hits of the light attack still hit harder. It also hits a wider area due to both swords swinging so you'll miss less.

I love that even if Maliketh gets staggered during his twirly durly, there's no stopping his multislash AOE after. It really is Destined Death.

Just a little tip for Morgott/Margit, all of the holy weapons that he summons are actual weapons in the game that have been altered to deal holy damage.
His dagger is an erdsteel dagger, the sword is a carian knights sword, and the hammer is the giants stone crusher, so technically, those would be viable for after his fights in this run

@En20dra YT Why not? The whole point of this challenge is to use the same weapons as the last boss you beat. Well, since it's not possible to get Morgott's cursed sword after Margit, why not use those weapons in its place?

@@en20drayt87 It would be the best way, but for people playing on console that don't have that option, or for people who don't want to use cheat engine, this is just another way to change up your load out after the Margit fight

Bushy's quest to make Gideon an actual boss fight continues
I've noticed recently that Godskin Apostle in the Godskin Duo fight was much more active than it should've been. I'm not sure if it was an AI change or what but it certainly wasn't like it used to be. I was constantly having fireballs thrown at me and it was rather annoying and really made me want to use sleep pots tbh.
if you watch one of zullie's vids on it, you'll know that it's due to a mechanic where it reacts to you doing your estus flask animation
@@CBeavr I've known about that since I first fought the godskin apostle in the Divine Tower of Caelid back when I started playing.
There does seem to be, however, a change in the AI itself, being more hostile than normal. Before the Apostle used to just walk around and whenever you'd flask it'd throw a fireball but now, it's way more aggressive than it used to be.
I'm not quite sure why but it could've been an undocumented change in 1.08.
@@bombboy200 If you haven't fought the Godskin Duo since 1.04, there was a change made during that patch that altered the team effectivity for duo bosses, making it more likely that they'd attack one at a time. Perhaps the Godskin Apostle was the 'designated attacker' for all of your fights?

@@okay2111 she uses waterfowl a minimum of once per phase after you do about half her health she’s going to want to do waterfowl if you bring poison darts gain distance from her at half hp then throw the poison darts it will bait her Into waterfowl and if you’re far enough away just run for the first to sets of slashes then dodge in towards her on the last one and wait out the final “pop” of waterfowl then punish her, repeat. I got Elden ring on Sunday and finished all the main not recycled bosses yesterday. That’s how I got her at lvl 120ish with a Dex build using morgotts sword
@@okay2111 dude my first run attack her I go so fucking lucky I didn't know her moveset and managed to dodge it with the help of a shield and every time since I've died to it.

Missed your videos Bushy, you're always inspiring me to try different ways to play this game.
Tip for big weapons vs DTS. Stick to shield side. Dodge through the jump attack and sprint around. The shield swings have far more lag. Back roll jump heavy/jump power stance attack will trivialize him. Works with any weapon really but with slower ones it's borderline required.
It literally took me until the Fia's Champion's fight to realize why he was only wearing headwear, but I really think it enhances the character.

The bloody helice used when fighting mohg is so op. It's kinda like bloodhounds fang where you have to attack after using it's ability to do a devastating attack.
I never get tired of seeing how Radahn forces that poor steed to serve him he even got the beast glued to his bollocks...
Seeing this man use unupgraded items and using spells in the literal worst possible way is enough to make me have an aneurysm, and I fucking love it

out of every boss i respect Godfrey and Malenia the most because they also show respect, Godfrey will show respect even if you die as well, most bosses humiliate you or insult you but Godfrey and Malenia don't, they acknowledge the fact you are a skilled warrior upon defeat
I would love to see a no flask run. Makes healing spells have a bit of meaning.

It would be cool if you included any armor sets the bosses wear (within reason, of course) and if you simulated the bosses' resistances with talismans. Like, Lichdragon Fortissax is 80% holy and lightning resistant, so you could wear Boltdrake and Haligdrake talismans +2. For a boss that has slightly lower but still strong resistances, you could wear a +1, and a boss with slightly higher resistances than usual, just wear +0. Possibly, for bosses that are too big for armor or just don't have it (like dragons, Abductor Virgins, Astel, etc.) you can adjust your armor to get as close to damage absorption values as possible, just for the extra challenge.
My favorite part of all of bushy's videos is watching him have to deal with moongrum I just think it's the funniest thing, especially when moongrum decides to just be super annoying
23:26 This happened to me with the black gargoyle in front of the Rold lift. Except he never got unstuck. I waited five minutes for him to move, and then even killed him, hitting him multiple times, from him being at half health, all while he was still frozen solid. Game still got some bugs to sort out in even the pve apparently XD
Has something most likely to do with a riposte and then hitting them at the right frame or something, as the gargoyle freeze aforementioned also happened with a riposte.

I just realized why, when he was fighting the mimic tear and was confused as to how the mimic was able to do the weapon art, even though he previously showed unable to do so. The mimic was lacking the strength, but then 2-handed the weapon, giving him the necessary stats.

If you have the int requirement for the Starscourge Greatswords, you can use the weapon art when you twohand it, even without the strength to use it

You need to do a play through as a miner. Only use picks and to get your smithing stones you have to go to the nines and gather them, not get bell bearing or open world. Also you can use their sorceries

Maybe this idea. You fight each boss in a manner that is siimilar to how they fight. So againt a dragon, you use fire magic, against Miquella, you use a rapier and against Godfrey you use an axe (phase 1) and dragon attacks (phase 2), against Rennala glintsone sourcery, against Radan dual wield greatswords etc. Bonus if you can use the exact same spell that the boss is using against you. Hard mode: no rebirth
