I'm way old school (close to age 70) and actually roll almost nightly, never did master a curling iron, hate blow drying, not fond of hot rollers. I quit fooling with color years ago, don't mind my grays coming in, and I have cut my own hair for years now. I've never been fond of a lot of product but sure do like a bit of hair spray for sure, helps especially in my humid Ohio summers. I really enjoy your videos and have benefitted from your teaching.
A few days ago. I spent about 20 minutes styling my hair. Got it perfect 👌. Went outside. It wasn't windy. Was about to get in my car and a magical gust of wind completely messed my hair up in about 1 second 😅😅😅
I love this, because for years we were all made to feel guilty for using hairspray. This, after the complete indoctrination into it in the 80s. Meanwhile, the fashion magazines were lifting the model's hair with fans. The moral of the story is sometimes you have to fight fashion and do what works for you and makes you happy, especially with something as personal as hair. The same scam was done with stockings; the model's legs were airbrushed and looked great, while our bare legs were pale and bumpy.
I use a matte finish pomade that makes it look like I have no product in my hair since there is no shine and I have a very old school feathered hairstyle, think Rick Springfield in the “Jessie’s Girl” music video. Then I top it off with some Rave hairspray. I used to use Aquanet hairspray until recently I haven’t been seeing it in the stores, so I switched to Rave which is another 80s classic hairspray.
I have really thick curly hair so I do the curly girl method on it. I use spray gel to lock the moisture of my leave in conditioner in. Hairspray makes my hair feel dry and horrible even with all the moisturizing I have to do to my hair before I spray it in.
I've been using aquanet which now after watching this video, i have learned that it is all of the bad things he has mentioned. I will get his the locked hair spray soon and try it out.
I need it but all the getting about spray to information and instruction through it . Getting all the spray to creating to stopped using spray of hair . In your point of view prospective super popular hair style in tiktok.
What about smoothing the little hairs that stick up on top of the head, after they are combed? Or the combed shoulder length hair that gets messy after 10 minutes of walking? I tried hairspray for both, and the ends pop back up on top, and the hair gets messy below, it just has a solid sprayed outer layer that looks crazy??
Dear sir, We need information from all the products of loreal's tecni Art, when and how to use this product..so we waiting for your video on this topic i hope u understand aver need thank u🌺🌺🙏
Is it fine if we have a little bit of hairspray and we run our fingers through our hair because I do this and the style is fine I just don’t want to mess up my hair
Does the type of hair you have matter for the process of growing out your hair? I have very thick curly hair and whenever I try to grow it out, it grows into an Afro and not down.
i would like a slickback hair style but no matter what i do my hair falls in a parting even when i am not using products i pull my hair back with my fingers and then it also falls in a center part does anyone have any advice for me
Hair spray has to be one of the biggest scams that you can find in a store. I can't count the amount of times that I purchased a "Extra Strong Hold" spray which turned out to be close to plain water shit. Or the infamous spray that comes out so hard that it messes up the hairstyle. Big Sexy Hair did me well in the past but it's way overpriced, unless you can find it in TJ Maxx for 50% off or more.
Honestly if you have that issue, get Tresemme hairspray 5, it shoots gently and honestly once applied (make sure you cover your entire head evenly) your hair won’t move for the rest of the day
Back in the '80s. The early hairspray or spraynet smells awful. It smells like chemical. We usually joked that your hair will become combustible because of hairspray. 😁

My hair is fairly thick but super fine. I wear medium length so its a must. I'm not crazy about it but it is what it is.

Who felt guilty using sprays? Whose even gonna know when you use it? I used it a lot when I was younger in school and no one ever said anything
Bruh it’s because it was depleting the ozone layer not because of some indoctrination shit
I have really thick, straight hair. That doesn’t look good when unstyled. It just lays flat but thick and I can’t get it to move without product
Any haircut ideas?

What brand spray gel?
U should do a video about the edgar haircut and how to style it
I want a hairspray that smells good. Hundreds of bottles I've used over my life only 2 smelled good and I forgot or couldn't find again.
I have a peach "flavored" hairspray. It smells great and has a soft and sweet smell. Sometimes people ask what perfume I'm using lol

Is gel any healthier for your hair than hair spray?
Let's put it this way: It's less damaging since gel still contains alcohol.
Who needs to style your hair if you can be bald, no need to buy shampoo and spending time styling your hair
Saves money and time

Take screen shot and crop it. Then show that to your barber. Maybe?
