So many gorgeous blooms!! So beautifully!! Love how many diffrent types are blooming at the same time! And yes please do a video of your aclandiae hybrids! I find them to be so amazing! Love all and anything aclandiae!
Ahhh such a beautiful video! Your 'chids look great!! Ah yeah, semi hydro is a wonderful thing in the right environment...but in some environments ( drier and cooler) it can ve deleterious indeed! So glad that everything is back on track beautifully for you!
So pretty, I want to smell all the cattleyas! And I hope this could help with your Neofinetia falcata - they need to have lots of airflow to roots or they will rot easily. Moist and then completely dry before rewatering (unless flowering). They should dry out in 1-3 days, so loose bark with drain holes in the pot or the traditional mounded moss planting will be good for them. :)
You have beautiful Orchids. Absolutely gorgeous! I will see if I can get hold of the second one you mentioned. I have never smelled a fragrant Orchid, I have never seen Orchids that have a scent. I need to investigate 🧐 I had to sell my Krohniana, because the smell was overpowering. To me and my husband it smells like old pee. One flower can turn the entire apartment into a public toilet, so the plant had to go. Hoya Bella smells devine. And Dracaena Surculosa. The Surculosa has the lovliest scent I've ever smelled, but you need to catch it. The flowers only last a day and a night, but they are glorious while they last! Hoya Bella's scent is very similar to it, almost as lovely, and her flowers last for aproximately 2 weeks.
Thank you so much! I hope you find that one! Cattleyas smell so wonderful. You're not the first person who described the Khroniana like Cat pee to me! Someone else did. For me it smells like an elderly woman's perfume lol. As for the Hoya bella, I like the flowers on it, for me it smells like sunscreen haha. I really like the fragrance on the Hoya Retusa and the standard carnosa as well :) Thank you for watching!
Thank you, Nicole, for a wonderful video! So many beautiful orchid blooms! I have just got some of the orchids you showed, but they are still small. I need all the patience I have to wait for them to start blooming.
That Apple Blossom is so pretty! Love seeing your orchids in bloom when mine are just hanging out doing nothing. It reminds why I let them stay here. 🤣😂
Hi Nicole. I really enjoyed your video. Lot’s of fabulous blooms. I’m excited because my Maxillaria schunkeana (Black Velvet) has a first time bloom and another flower ready to bloom. Interesting orchid. I planted it self watering pot with spagnum moss topped with bark. Thanks for sharing your lovelies. 👏🥰❤️
Hi! I always enjoy watching your videos. I wish I could find Apple Blossom, it's almost impossible to find it here... I have the same hoya. I love the fragrance!
seems like a lot of people are having a bloom explosion right now. I'm staring at two buds on Cattleya Adels Treasure (warner x lawrenceana) coerulea that look like they might open in a couple of days and I am super excited to see that one.
I just looked that one up, that's NICE! I look forward to seeing it on your IG. The RM x Labiata is still going, that one has huge blooms AND lasts long, I love it ❤️
The blooms are looking fantastic! Love the Jungle Eyes! I should have mentioned to you when I was commenting on my favorite fragrant orchids that I will be dividing my C. Caribbean 'Orange Bowl' soon as it's done blooming. If you'd be interested in me sending one to you, let me know in this comment. After watching so many of your videos I think the size/shape is right up your alley, and the fragrance is to die for! The color is really unique as well (Orange airbrushed in pink). BTW, I subscribed!
Good morning, Lovely collection. I have a question re: flushing orchids. I live in the Midwest and have been raising orchids for 4 years. I water with RO water and fertilize weekly weakly. I have list quite a few orchids due to over watering and following advice that doesn't work for my zone 6. My questions are should I be flushing the orchids and if so how often and should I use RO water to flush? Thanks again for sharing your collection.
Thank you for watching! The purpose of flushing is to remove accumulated salts and minerals. Whether to use RO water or not depends on the water you have available to you. I'm sure you can use it to get extra salts and minerals out, but if the water is mineral heavy itself, ro water could be better..ro water just takes so much time to make though :( monthly flushing is ideal but there are times I am not able to flush for a few months at a time and the collection is generally ok ❤️

Does the Pot Burana Beauty have a citrus scent to the rose smell?
I didn't detect citrus on it, it was mostly floral for me :)
@@NicoleDeanna Ah thank you, I got so many orchids that just seem to have a sharp citrus note to them I'm all citrus'd out at this point haha.
lov it. is it inside the house?
Yes, it's all in a spare bedroom :)

Was there an update to the rootless cattleya rescue/ICU (about 7 months ago)?
I showed it about 3 months ago, it died unfortunately.
