When I wore Rouge around my family ….3 out of 3 said “You smell like Root Beer!” It’s true . I definitely get a sarsaparilla vibe . 🥰

Rouge smoking is a fragrance I only wear in the fall, and I do get the cherry note to my nose it smells like a cherry root beer float! Rosendo #5 is a definite love for me ❤

I knew Scherzo, and Angelique, and Rosendo 5 would be there. All others, I was anticipating. I recent acquired Mizensir Poudre and it is very beautiful!
Angelique Noir is my most favorite scent in my collection. It is intoxicating. I can’t even begin to describe it. When I wear it I simply can’t stop sniffing my wrist. I now want to try the Neroli Blanc intense.
This is going to make me choose Angelique Noire as my SOTD tomorrow. You’re right is indescribable. I feel absolutely amazing when I wear it!
Most definitely BR 540, Delina, RM #5 are extremely must have been the top 10, I absolutely love this list even though there are some fragrances they’re a little too strong for me and others that I haven’t discovered yet.

Rouge smoking did nothing for me upon 1st sniff. I circled back around this Fall and love it! It smells so divine paired with Vanilla 28. I do get the Cherry though. Like cherry soda. I get where you’re coming from cause if my nose didn’t pick up the cherry, I wouldn’t like it at all 😩
I’m just starting to think the DNA of this house overall is just not for me body chemistry wise.

Me too even though I have Gris Charnel and Pas Ce Soir. I rarely wear either though I prefer the former.. I hated the Touge Smoking and also Tabac Rose- I sold that one.

OMG! when you said you almost threw up when you tired a dupe of Absolute Aphrodisiac, I was just nodding like girl I know what dupe you're talking about because I almost threw up too. Julianna absolutely fudged that dupe! When I tell you that dupe smelled like doodoo. It took me a whole year to finally coming around to trying the real thing becuase I was so scared of Initio AA after that. now I have a full bottle and can't live without it

I spray Gris Charnel first 5-7 sprays all over don’t forget pulse points and behind head/neck.
I follow it with Blanche Bete.

Of course...You are obsessed with it.😀I have had Scherzo in my wish list since Clèmence talked about it in her channel many years ago but it's so hard to find it here in Canada and I am seeing more and more people in the fragrance community getting obsessed with the fragrance that makes me feel even more excited.
Neroli Blanc Intense is one of my favourite fragrances from my collection and it has been compared to Love Don't Be Shy but I much prefer Neroli Blanc I because it's not that sweet. Sharida I must say you have a great taste darling! 🤩

To me it smells like thise tiny red cinnamon hearts you can get at Valentines day you know what i am talking about bleh 🤢 iI tried a sample of absolute A it smelled nice the lady said it was like the original alien. i ended up buying a full bottle of psychedelic love. have you smelled it?
Just sampled Psychedelic Love for the first time yesterday! It’s wasn’t quite for me but I must admit I kept smelling my hand all evening. Will give it more testing.

Ughhh yeah lol hopefully Angelique Noire, even though it’s been around, doesn’t become like BR540 being worn every and anywhere because of its name 😅 hopefully it stays just about normal. Also I believe they offer refills for the new Guerlain bottles to be environmentally conscious. It’ll cost less overtime instead of rebuying bottles

Your hair and makeup is pretty! I tried Scherzo a long time ago, need to find my sample. Tihota and BR 540 are two of my favorites! Serge Lutens Un Bois Vanille and Tubereuse Criminelle, Le Labo Vanille 44 and Roja Dove Sweeie Aoud are on the top of my favorites list.

@@Ashley08888 you are a woman after my own heart. I have been out here chasing Unicorns trying to find a replacement Vanilla for Atelier Cologne's Vanille Insensee, which was discontinued. I had Eau Duelle for a while, but I wasn't thinking vanilla fragrance when I got it, it was just very pleasing to me. I keep hoping they make a lotion for it the way they did Do Son, Eau de Rose and Fleur de Peau. If you have a chance try Ilio for the Spring/Summertime. I will definitely repurchase Eau Duelle.

I have a straight forward vanilla recommendation for you: Dulcis in Fundo by Profumum Roma. It has a Mexican vanilla note.

Definitely try sampling some first and you will see your nose will get used to it. Start out with the cleaner Western type ouds first. Much easier to like in the beginning.

I smelled Vanille Fatal briefly on paper and wasn’t a fan. Actually need to try on skin next time I’m in the mall. I haven’t tried Rosendo 7 but someone else recently recommended it. I need to get my nose on it.

I'm about to get beat up for this, but I sampled all 3 delina's... they don't do it for me🤭 they smell pretty and all but nah. Og delina smells like bath and body works rose. They do have great performance though, I'll give 'em that.

The ONLY FB BDK I have is Tobac Rose 😆. I am for sure going to try that Scherzo combo! I have been wearing my new bottle of Absolute Aphrodisiac, it super sexy! Also Imperial Peacock and Vani Charnel I can’t seem to stop wearing.

Need to sample these others you've mentioned, they sound delectable! I'm wearing MFK Gentle Fluidity Gold and BDK Gris Charnel most often. And sampling some newbies 🤭, as if i need anymore. I decided on Piano Santal by L'orchestre parfum as my sandalwood fragrance so wish me luck, it's a 🦯😎💰 smh. I'll be challenging myself to enjoy my existing collection all 2023. 💪🏾

I'm often confused when people say BR540 is so "done" and ubiquitous. We live on a planet of 4B people--not everyone's walking around sporting a nearly $400 fragrance. It's about context and perspective. Perhaps one's small circle of friends or sphere of influence chatters about something to a point where one believes everyone is wearing/talking about it when they are not.
Whether it's a black cashmere sweater that everyone owns or BR540, the mark of an individual is not actually someone who buys something no one else has. That's easy. The mark of an individual is someone who can take a black cashmere sweater or wear BR540 and make it their own. How they wear it, pair it, etc. It's the person wearing the thing instead of the thing wearing it that makes it unique. And it's how they keep returning to the thing and finding ways to make it new and fresh is unique. Not simply buying the latest fragrance.
I'm an observer in this community and I'm sometimes baffled by those following hype or trends instead of stepping back and appreciating beauty on its own terms, not the terms defined by a bunch of people on the internet. Which is all to say I loved how you proclaimed your love for BR540 because that love of something and how it makes you FEEL and how you wear it out into the world matters more than a bunch of people saying a fragrance is so over. :)
