    A rely great short tutorial, excellent!
    You can use texture paste or modelling paste to coat your mdf models to give it more texture and thickness.
    Put in on a milimeter or two thick, uneven to leave surface irregularities, then let it set up partially. Once it has you can use a blunt pencil, small nail or anything convenient with a slightly blunt point to create a 3d brick or stone pattern. This will give the mdf a surface texture that takes painting and dry brushing well and gives a 3d surface as good as you get with the foam version.

      Great suggestion, I might try that for some future video, as I plan on creating more designs with mdf

    Great tutorial. I use an old ballpoint pen for marking stone or brick.

      Thank you. Old ball point pens work great, I do the same thing in an upcoming video where I make some walls.

      That is true, I did 3d model some but never finished the modelling to a standard I was happy with
