Im glad things are on the up friendo. You are lovely talented human bean.
Because of you I've got back into sculpting minis. Thank you
Thank you.
I appreciate these videos so much. At Adepticon, Trent always wanders off and disappears for days at a time. During those times, I get worried that he's sleeping in a drainage ditch behind the convention hall or something... but it's nice to see that he's actually been getting up to fun stuff with cool people! This makes me happy. :-)
You're too laid back to keep up with this man's chaotic pace. Of course he's gonna disappear from your sight
You two should absolutely get togehter and do some collabs.
It will be amazing to see what you teo can turn out woth a mix of the chaos and the smooth bob ross planning you embody. By your powers combined!
How much do they charge to sleep in the drainage ditch each night? Cons are so expensive...
Loved the 2 second Eric’s Hobby Workshop crossover. Good to see the man needing out again.
Mographs were iconic in this one. Man I wish my computer (digital realm) was also a hacky vaporwave OS running on a gameboy pocket
the level of creativity and storytelling in your animation work has become unbelievably high grade.
Waaaait a minute
This man said he's enjoying symmetry????
I think our old Trent got replaced by a doppelganger. Dude went from Chaotic-chaotic to liking symmetry?
And he made a grid to place the shingles!!!! Something is really wrong here.
an inspirational video dude, making a self-portrait-mobile-home-monstrosity/delight is on the to-do list for sure.
There are pretty few things that leave me giggling with joy than a Trent video. Thanks mate for this happy moment and the wisdom attached. Hope to manage to get a ticket to Ghent and meet you there !
currently working through the last round of miniatures you chooched out
Absolutely great work Trent!
Oh man, the visual direction and raw design elements are next level.
Your production aesthetic is just getting better and better
Just recently got into your videos while going through a rough patch in life. The mindset and positive attitude to just do what you do and find the joy in it is what i needed. Thank you for unknowingly kicking me in the arse, in a good way.
"Different projects bring out the best of me in different ways because of the different people that I have the privilege of working with"
Thats brilliant. Im going to try and commit that to memory. You continue to be an inspiration.
I'm feeling inspired by your take on a self-portrait! I'm going to try it myself!
13:00 So sorry to hear that the deal fell through at the last minute! You could clearly tell that it hit you hard from this segment. Also heartwarming that your friends helped you out.
The quality of these videos is absolutely unreal! They're so fun to watch
So happy to see you back in style, Trent! This video is fantastic!
I wanna write more but this will have to do for now - this is just so gloroious. Your film making is the best, your projects are on fire. Your sweet attitude. thanks for making the best stuff on the internet.
All your videos are like incredible journeys and you are one of the few creators that make playing with and making miniatures look really cool
Your videos are just so good! They have I guess what I would call texture, just so creative and cool. Thank you for making such beautiful pieces of artwork.
This is such a great video! The visuals and editing is so incredible. I've got a busy week ahead but I think it's got me really inspired to work on painting my last two unfinished of the metal Miscast Miniatures set instead of the skeletons I should be working on for Forbidden Psalm, and if I'm lucky maybe I'll find time to work on both projects.
Adepticon looks like a magical place! great video as always :)
NEW MISCAST! mate your production keeps getting better and better. My copies of your ramshackle minis arrived last week and I'm blown away with how nice they are.
AMAZING, SO HAPPY TO HEAR
thankyou
Nice T. Gllliam meets Ghibli feel. Cool
The artwork of you riding your toad form would make a cool shirt. It is like a modern petroglyph.
I’m not an artist… or do art. But I always want to.
This whole thing makes me feel emotions, because your work is so you. And it inspires me to push through my own resistance when I want to make stuff.
Lyfs not prefect… you know?
Thanks for continuing to create and inspire. Will go download all the things now.
This year was my first time going to Adepticon, though I spent most of it either rolling dice in the Horus Heresy hall with friends from my local group or down in the dealer's hall I'm in the same situation now. I love the atmosphere, the people, the vibes, just being able to relax, have a few beers and enjoy these games we play and the models we paint for a weekend. It was the first time I've had a fully painted army and it gave me the motivation to get a few more under my belt. So yeah, I'm already waiting to grab my ticket for next year.
Your vibe is always so inspiring- thank you for being you. Please know that there are a bunch of creative people who are inspired by you. I don't create the same things as you, but I am always so excited for your videos.
Your content is very fun to watch! Not to mention so many birds were flipped!
Thanks man, your videos always hit me from a bunch of different angles. Creative inspiration and motivation but there's also a lot of emotional energy in there that always ends up in me thinking about my own situations and projects, thoughts, plans, etc.
Always blessed to get a new Miscast vid. Fanx
Got to meet Trent at Adepticon and showed him a model I kitbashed with some parts from him. Him telling me how sick my model was was the most proud I have ever been of my work lol.
Hey Trent, just wanted you to know how absolutely inspiring your videos are. While I mostly operate in the ttrpg space and less in the wargaming and skirmish stuff, your artistry and style always pushes me to be better. Keep on keeping on brother 🤙
What a great video! Beautiful work Trent! Also so fun to see some of the art goblins at Adepticon, I wish I can go some time in the future
Very cool stuff, Trent. Keep up the awesome work
hell yeah this rules. so much going on, can't wait to see where you go from here
Lotsa love mate! Great to watch an update.
A new Miscast Video!!! I feel so motivated!
It’s crazy how your video making skills just keep on getting better. ❤
Seeing all of the cool strange miniatures that you have made has made me think about something that I would love to see you do! In necromunda there's a place called the Navis Mortis which is a ship graveyard from ships that got shot down because they were trying to smuggle illegal goods and things like that onto the planet and into hives. The Navis Mortis has an infestation of sorts of something called a brainleaf wyrm which I believe is essentially just plant zombies. I'd love to see you make some plant zombies of that sort of necromunda style mixed with your style or even some terrain based off it! (there's a Warhammer community article on the Navis Mortis that you could check you if you care)
I love the content style, keeping it real and interesting, and the products of your labor are always phenomenal! thanks for the content, and keep it up! it's always a treat to see you posting a new video
29:27
I think you need to reallize that you are doing all of this out of your free will, for us.
Nobody is expecting you to do it, nobody asks you to do it. And yet you do it, out of love for your hobby and out if need to share it for other to enjoy the experience you had while making it. You Don’t need to be afraid of that.
The skingraft is my favorite btw
I have a pretty good track record for leaving free ideas in the comment section so for the untitled demon book.."Deamons Somewhere to be Found" or "Deamons Waiting to be Found". Regardless, keep making cool stuff!
Hi Trent, Art is art, it is natural to reflect on work, Picasso was asked about art, and sticking things together, he go a bicycle saddle and a handlebar and the rest is history.
great work always.
Good to see you back and back on fire
So happy to see one of my skulls in the video, even if it is just for a second. Look forward to the next vid👍
I cant wait to use them! thank you so so much. And I loved your knights.
I've been waiting for this one, so excited to see you thrive in new circumstances. Change is not always welcome, but we try and engage with it in a meaningful way.
Looking forward to more art, in whatever form it takes
Great video, excellent production, good vibes, congrats👏
You always inspire, Trent!
Thank god this video came out after Shadow of the erdtree dropped. I would not want to face this boss at all.
god trent, your stuff's always such a breath of fresh air, im always thrilled to see you in my feed (i dropped insta for better brain chemicals). you are absolutely fearless in how you mix your media, and its so inspiring to see. hope youre well, gotta go, you made me wanna make something.
As somebody just getting into warhammer and a longtime viewer of yours, I want to thank you for being the guy to convince me to sacrifice my wallet to GW (and also convince me to start working on a TTRPG). Also, I love the use of additional editing, it's super different from your old (and still increadible) camera angles, but it still feels fresh and increadibly unique!
BABE WAKE UP, NEW MISCAST VIDEO DROPPED LETS GOOO
This… this just gives me all the the good feels ❤️❤️❤️ amazing … keep ‘er lit!
You’re the man, Trent.
The production value really upgraded
Love your work, Mr gnome.
Always a joy and always inspiring.
Keep going!! What a feast, Trent. (I forgive you for backstabbing me). As always, after watching a new Trenna video I feel the need to make EVERYTHING. Thank you ✨
This video is a work of art.
Yaaaaaay, new video, and a big one too, welcome back, you have been missed :)
House fight?! Too fun
I don’t know you well, Trent, but you asked how to keep this momentum up. I’ve seen enough of your videos to get an impression that you get a big boost and high for a while and then you crash. Expending massive amounts of creativity can lead to a crash. I might suggest trying to find a sustainable way forward where you can make things at a pace you can keep doing instead of high highs followed by low lows.
Good luck. We love your work
Ah hell yea
Gonna save this for lunch break
Thats a beautiful tower. I didnt see the instagram post but i defs would have said giant toad haha.
What lense are you using to get that flare effect? It's beautiful.
Also, what spells did you cast on your phone to keep it working?
Dammit now I want to make something
ooh.. my model at 16:57
It's like I'm in the video :)
Man, you live to inspire the hobby
what is that program you modelled the frog in? looks pretty rad :D
Blender!
It’s all good
We're all kitbashes. Nobody exists in a vacuum. Our selves and our art are influenced by the character and work of others.
Lovely content. top notch. But hey dont get hard on your self if u loose momentum. Keeping up keeping up could mean burnout at some point. Remember to take care of yourself and know that you have intrinsic worth. lots of love
He is back babyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
HE'S BACK! HEEEE'SSSS BAACK
Yesssss
I made one of them huts.
GUYS HE IS BACK !
hurray
So many things! The average UA-camr would make 17 videos out of this content. You are so very generous. Loving all the models.
For real. I really love these unique style of videos that just hit closer to home in relatability.
I picked up a couple of the new models from Ramshackle the other day. The Chopper and the Adventurer. I was blown away with the quality and just how unique they are compared to other miniatures. Also the fact that you can use the supports as terrain bits is wonderful, really set my imagination alight. 10/10 would purchase again, thanks Trent!
Thankyou so so so so much. So many of the best people made these models happen and I'm so proud of them. This means so much
Nice, a new miscast video!
This video keeps on giving ! This could easily be 5 separate videos but you made one epic instead and I love it ! Thanks for the insane work behind each release 🙏
the smash cut to Eric explaining ancient architectural mysteries in a bar via napkin drawings brought such a smile to my face
amazing vid as always
and is the 28 tattoo new? i feel like that's new
Just a day ago i was wondering where and what Trent was doing, and then... You showed up, it's good to see you around!!!
I am THRILLED to have some of your art on my shelf. I just purchased the adventurer, the doom, the fae and the clairvoyant and I haven't even watched the whole video yet. I absolutely love your work - stoked to see an artist succeed!!!!
I've a copy of 'How to Make Wargames Terrain GW 1996'. And, unsurprisingly, I too have fawned over it for many an hour. Eventually, I decided to attempt to build 'Industrial Site' from p.71. The project evolved. Now I've four doubled sided terrain tiles, platforms, gantries, all sorts of industrial structures et cetera and it continues. I like to call it 'My Friendly Hive Neighbourhood'. Socializing eclipsing awesome games is magnificent. Ramshackle far exceeds notable!
Congrats on your Hive build(s).
Thanks! It's been super fun. Mostly stuff that would've gone into my recycling, or garbage, plus, $ store
odds-and-sods.
Reading it frequently growing up 'dreaming of what could be' but not really making anything from it was so relateable XD
I didn't own a copy when it was contemporary though I did browse through it at the time and I looked at other people's copies whenever I had the chance. I did dream a lot about what sort of things I might make. I've made things other than 'My Friendly Hive Neighbourhood' which were influenced by the tome, such as, p.58 'Making a Rock Pile', p.63 'Making a Crater' and I've a WIP forest incited by p.28-31 'Woods' which I've been thinking about recently, actually. Anyway, yeah, a fine treatise and I'm grateful to have it.
Literally stopped working to watch this video.
16:56 Holy shit, thank you for showing the model I made for you! It was great talking to you, much less awkward this year. lmao Can't wait to see you next year!
Holding back tears when you gave it to me, thankyou! Meant so much.
Wow, just wow. Personally, I am a do-by-the-book person, rarely doing something crazy, taking chances on things, broadening my horizons. Seeing you just go with the flow, being messy and chaotic, kitbash and sculpting weird things from your visions really inspires me. How talented individuals as yourself just lets your imagination take hold of you and crafting interesting and amazing things. It makes me happy to see you happy and enjoying both the process and the final results. Please never doubt yourself or your talent and keep making weird and absolutely cool stuff.
You have been busy making so much cool stuff. Glad you made it to Adepticon and I got to see your monster house in person. Making art from junk and with your friends is the best! Your video style is one of my favorites. Keep being you 💚
Good to see you back on a positive Trentjectory! Keep up the good work.
Every video you put out is so special and inspiring to me. Talking about your experience at 28:53 of trying to make things but always being worried about if they'll be good enough when you put them out in the world really resonated with me, and I liked your solution of trying to keep that momentum and collaboration going. Thanks for the videos, the thoughts, the creativity, and the inspiration to create!!!
Fantastic video Trent - this one is a banger
Ah man so cool to see all these projects in a video. Also me, Im in this one. So good. Worth the wait.
I appreciate you speaking on releasing stuff. Its a weirdly a big part of my own artist anxiety. Sharing is scary
Another video, another clip of Eric ranting about the pyramids.
Thanks for another lovely video! As always it is great to see your process and all the cool things you create and people you work with! Also, it is amazing to see that there is video footage of how the terminator got a copy of Cauldron!
Oh man, thanks for sharing all this stuff! Great video as always too. :)
Holy shit Eric's aussie accent 🤣🤣🤣
One of the things I learned from this video is that Trent is not, in fact, a mini-man pocket goblin like his over-sized sweaters and over-sized workshop would suggest but is, in fact, sized like a real boy. I do not know what do to with this information.
Amazing to see you back. 🎉
Glad to see you back Trent! Thank you for always being an amazing inspiration
