It’s 2023, and this makes me smile, and it breaks my heart. As a “first generation” Fab fan, 12 yo when they first appeared on Sullivan, it’s not hyperbole to say they changed my life. I listen to George, and Ringo and John and Paul, everyday, and they’ll be played at my funeral. I can’t imagine a world without The Beatles.
I was eight years old when the Beatles debuted on The Ed Sullivan show. They definitely changed my life. When John and George died, I felt like I had lost members of my family.
@@CinnamonRedOneI've just got to ask... Might that sexy little profile image of yours, by any chance be at all representative of your actual, in-the-flesh appearance? This album really shows how great George was at making music So glad that dhani worked on this album and eventually finished it with Jeff Lynne bc this album rlly turned out fantastic
It's such a gift to those that love George, that Dhani looks so much like his dad, and has such respect and love for his father. Clearly they had a great relationship. That makes me admire George even more. I've heard so many stories about rock stars who had bad or nonexistent relationships with their children, that seeing George was a good dad just adds to the many reasons to admire him.
Very well said. Dhani really loves and respects his dad, and considering George's profession (other than being a really cool gardener) as an ex-Beatle and a great musician, that often led to trouble with other real-life musicians and their kids. George was just so unique in the way he lived his life---it just rubbed off on his family and everyone he knew. He is so missed!
+CoolEuro What you wrote is rubbish. Truth be told George cheated on his wives, was a run around guy. When he had Dhani he was just ready to settle down, same as John when he had Sean was ready to settle down and be a dad. Had he not been murdered, Sean would have had a great dad and even Julian as they were getting closer and bonding. Life is what happens when you are busy making other plans.

What I loved most about the Beatles was that each one of them was likable and so special in their own right. They just brought so much joy and that’s what it’s all about.
George was the greatest environmentalist. Of spirit and custodian of all things. He understood life better than most. His music is a testament of his life on this little ball in the sky. Thank you Mr. Harrison. I believe all of the Beatle members in their own way have made worldly contributions to our understanding of life and the human condition.
The depth of beauty, love & understanding that was & remains George. Far deeper than the deep blue sea, more expansive than the sky above, as grounded as mother earth & as fresh as mountain air & all that love ❤ And Dhani, the apple that never fell far from the tree, or is it just me😊
A very eloquent and respectful artist himself, Dhani Harrison has left some wonderful imprints with his contribution to music; especially "The Concert for George. Peaceandlove.
Growing up the Beatles changed the way I thought. Their music was in most cases just so well done and pleasant to listen too. Miss those guys but still listen to their music often.
All of the Beatles were in their own distinct ways. No wonder that together they made history. We were all moving though growing up with them. I think where we wound up is more interesting than it would have been otherwise.
There has always been something soothing about listening to George. Whether it is music or just him chatting. So grounded and down to earth. I think some of it rubbed off on Dhani. ~Smile~ Someone else mentioned it here, but I have to say - It FEELS like George never left us. While watching this, it was as if you could feel him.
I always sensed George's soul in the lyrics of the songs he wrote. He certainly added a level of heightened understanding and also a sense of humour to the magic that was & still is the Beatles. And he remains my favourite member of that brilliant exponent of ever changing brilliance in so many ways. How fortunate I consider myself to have been 'ever present' during those wonderful years. ❤

Absolutely spot on my friend! Thanks to Jeff Lynne for reviving George's career with the album Cloud Nine, The Traveling Wilburys, Brainwashed and finally a superb homage with the concert for George. George was the most genuine and authentic among the 4 Beatles with a very good sense of humor. No wonder why George and Jeff Lynne connected so well and became best friends.
I'm enjoying this George CD very much with original concepts and feelings of love & vibrations of the Earth aganist his heart for life as it should be.
Gotta admit I'm a major Macca fan and just never really got into George's music beyond a few tracks here and there. That said, I'm so grateful to have found this Brainwashed EPK as it presents solid evidence of how much love went into the production of these tunes... I remember being fairly impressed with the album shortly after its release, but only really listened to a handful of tracks from it. Think I'll go ahead and give the full album a proper spin this afternoon -- thanks much to this great and inspiring video! -- and am really looking forward to the experience...
Great is a word tossed around but George truly was "great" for many things, not just being a Beatle, or for his music or even for his committed spirituality...but because he could bring all three together and change the world with them all. That is a GREAT SOUL and to boot, he had a love of gardening which clearly comes through. Much missed George...hope you are looking down and sending your wisdom!

Brainwashed and Cloud Nine are my favourites by George. I hope everyone feels George’s deep connection to spirit and nature and does something to promote each of those things every day.

George Harrison was a huge influence on me, both musically and personally. I could not have created the 11 albums I have done with out him. He created great chord progressions and melody lines. They were the greatest. And Brainwashed was a incredible last album from George! Miss him so much and John as well.
In a world where music seems to have stood still for 25 years it’s hard to imagine how that experience was so profound but I think I get you 😊
George was a great gardener - and not just of vegetation and trees. A gardener of the consciousness of the people of his time.
