Alaska resident here. Former resident of the southern US where Chick-fil-A is dominant. Closest Chick-fil-A is thousands of miles from here. It is absolutely a thing that anytime my wife goes on a business trip outside of Alaska, that she bring 4 Chick-fil-A sammiches back with her. For real.
What a big difference from the South to Alaska! My husband and I went to Alaska twice on cruise ship and we just loved it all, and also stayed one night in Anchorage and walked around the city. I’m sure you’re missing what the South had to offer, but that’s so sweet of her to bring you back the Chick-Fil-A Sammiches! 😉😁 I just had one a couple of days ago with the mac n cheese! This reminds me of a welding shop in Tennessee that I used to work in. Half of us were from Texas. Anytime one of us went home, the others sent a shopping list.
